Photo From Texas Road

I live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Every one around here knows about a haunted road and cemetery, called "Texas Road". It's located about 15 minutes from where I live.

I got a new camera for Christmas, and what better place to try it out, than Texas Road cemetery. My husband drove us out there, and I walked up to this big brick monument, that had a big white cross on it in the back of the graveyard and started to take random pictures.

I took many pictures that day, not really expecting anything to show up on the film. A few days later I was looking at the photos, and got a very exciting find. Behind the monument, there are some trees, and in one of these trees, there is a ghostly image.

I am not going to say what I think is there, but would very much like to hear what you think it is. I have heard many other stories about this place, but really never believed them, until now... I have never experienced anything that made me believe in the world of ghosts and the paranormal, but actually seeing an image, that I took, totally blew my mind!

I am very much looking forward to your comments, and your take, on the picture that I am submitting. I have not done anything to the picture, other than send it along with my story.

That picture is awesome! At first glance I saw what seemed like a man standing with one of those curled mustaches and his hands behind his back, but the more I looked, the more faces I could make out in the picture. I don't know if it's my eyes playing tricks, or if that whole image is made up of agonized screaming faces... But I do know that this will be going into one of my favorite pictures.

This is a perfect example of 'trick of the eye' your mind will find anything that has a human like figure or face shapes and everything. It's extremely rare to pick up spirits on a camera. This is looking for trouble so to speak but none the less the coincidence is rather freaky looking. I'm very open minded but I was looking at something else in this picture before I looked at the other photo that also looked like a face behind the tree. Sorry

I have recently bought a house on Texas Road, the last house before the haunted bridge and the grave yard. I am looking forward to "exploring" the area! We have been here for 4 months now and as of yet have not had any "experiences"

Nice pictures you've got there!
I see a human-like figure which almost looks like a shadow with red eyes.
But that's just me.

Nice pictures! There was a picture that made the local paper (the Echo) several years back. It was about the large old house on Dalhousie St. (5 miles from Texas rd) downtown Amherstburg. THe house has tower on the side of it and in the window there is an old woman looking out. It was clear as day and the picture was taken in the 90's when the house was owned by a young couple who insisted it was haunted. The house was built in the late 1800's and has alwas been said to be haunted. Very specifically that room!

Sorry guys, but I don't see anything out of the ordinary. To me, whatever it is just looks like a hollow/hole in the tree, not a face.
Who knows, maybe the Spirits won't permit me to see anything just yet, who knows?

Everytime I look at this, the face seems to change. For a bit, it will look like the figure has a distorted, alien-like face to it, and then the next minute it looks almost Virgin Mary-like. Not saying that's what it is. I feel like there is something there. Though the bottom-most part I believe is matrixing, in regard to the length. I definitely see shoulders and a head though. Very awesome find. This is going in my favorites so I can continue to stare at it! LOL

And Taz - yes, I do see the profile of an afro carribean face to the right...

ok I sort of see what you mention but not sure 😕
Granny I do see what you mentioned
Now zoom into pic 2 look at the cross just under circle part now it could be just me looking too long but does anyone else see eye socket, nose and pouty lips and chin like an afro carabian face?

thanks so much for the comments! What I see when I look at the photos, is a girl "floating" in the tree, wearing period clothing, and hairstyle. ❤

nessee: I don't see anything on the tree itself, but just to the left, there appears to be a face... Kind of "alien-ish" looking, or perhaps a skull... 😊

BJJ, I'm really bad at finding the ghostly images in photos too. What I see in these does look like a woman standing in front of the tree with a long robe or cape with a hood. But then again it can just be colors and groves in the tree that are making our eyes recognize the image. I believe that is what they call matrixing. Really cool pics neesee, thank you for sharing them with us. 😊 ❤

It looks like it might be what looks like a woman wearing a long robe, but I'm not sure. It's hard to tell without seeing the whole picture how far away she's supposed to be.

I've always been terrible at seeing the images in ghost pictures, I always just seem to miss it entirely. I actually see something in these pictures, but to me it looks more like coloration in the tree's bark than a ghostly image. But, as I said, I'm awful with pictures.
