Creepy Ghost Or More?

This happened very recently, about one week ago. Since my last story about the ghost 'Henry' my grandmother has moved house. She now lives in a house in the countryside in a little town called Clanfield in England. This house was a bungalow but the loft space was converted into two bedrooms, a bathroom and a laundry room. Downstairs there is a bedroom too.

My grandmother had been on holiday and I was house sitting just for the weekend because of college and travel. On the first night I sat and watched some comedies on TV and at about 11pm I went to bed in the downstairs bedroom. I went to sleep pretty fast but at about 3am I woke up. I was lying on my back and I couldn't move my body at all. I could blink so I decided to try and go to sleep as it might be sleep paralysis and my body still thought I was asleep. This failed and I felt the side of the bed dip, I was lying on one side of a double bed.

My grandmother only owns a rabbit, two canaries and 4 guinea pigs. The rabbit and guinea pigs are kept outside and the canaries are in the living room so the bed could not have dipped from an animal. My bedroom door was closed. I tried to look at the bed but I couldn't move my head at all. I then felt my whole body go numb and my heart began racing as I was scared because I didn't know what to do. I tried to scream but no sound could escape. One side of my body became numb and tingled as if being touched lightly, the side where the bed had dipped. After about ten minutes the bed then went back to normal and I could move again so I turned the bedside lamp on and went back to sleep.

The next day, Saturday, I saw shadows out of the corner of my eye and breathing in my ear but whenever I turned around they went. That night I watched some more comedies, most notably Friends, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother and The Inbetweeners. These could not in any way contribute to what I could be experiencing. I went to bed at the same time as the night before and I slept until 3am again. The same thing happened but this time I could feel hands going up and down my arms. This went on for twenty minutes and as soon as everything went back to normal I went and slept in my grandmother's room with her bedside lamp on. Nothing disturbed me at all for the rest of the night.

The next day, a Sunday, I went home and that night it came back but I was in a single bed so it didn't have much room to spread out. Since then it has come back each night, even with my 19-month-old sister in the room. Can anyone please help me as I have no idea what it is? The last experiences I've had have been good and not as bad as this. I'm really scared and am in need of serious help.

Thanks for the advice. I haven't been on lately due to college work and looking for Unis. I will follow Rook's advice, thanks to you Rook, and hopefully it will go. It hasn't been bothering me as much lately but I will try and follow the advice even though my step-dad may object due to him not believing me. My mother does as she has had past experiences with ghosts. Thanks again to all of your helpand advice.:) Jess xx

Just take Rook's advice like 100s if not 1,000s of others of us have. I have not heard of anybody yet who his advice has not helped. If nothing else, it certainly won't hurt you like biting your tongue will! Even if your paralysed body is able to bite its tongue. I've had a similar experience, trust me, Rook has been the only one who has been able to help me.

As for somebody like Moongrim saying things to make himself look good... I don't think so! We all had him pegged a long time ago!

PebblesnBammbamm,
I suggest that you follow Rook's suggestion. Rook is one of the most trusted and experience posters here. And like most people here, Rook tends to keep an open mind and try not to use religion as a basis for everything (unlike some people).

Rook,
Some people never learn, so I suggest that you turn around and walk away because the only thing that is going to happen is your and everyone else's blood pressure going up. I'm not saying you are wrong but other people tend to take words and twist it to make themselves look good and never admit to being wrong!

Moongrim,

Wow, really? Let me quote you so there is no misunderstanding...

"And I'd be very careful taking advice from such charlatans as Rook. He is a Mormon who violates the tenets of his church by dabbling in matters supernatural."

I am MORMON, never denied it. I do however try to keep religious doctrin out of my adivce as I do not want to sound preachy. Many times that I give advice I'm drawing from personal experience and offering my opinion based on that. Now I must ask you something...

What do you really know about my Church? From your comments on other threads, (Pay Ley Ale?) I am led to believe it is not much or you have misunderstood the little you have learned.

I'll draw your attention to something, the Articles of Faith of MY CHURCH... (not all of them, but please pay attention...)

Number 7: We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.

Number 11: We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

And Certianly not least...

Number 13: We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul - We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

So could you please show me just where I am, in your own words, "violates the tenets of his church by dabbling in matters supernatural."

Before this becomes a 'battle' I have said my Prayers and asked my questions about things from my past, things like the Tarot and other 'methods' I am familiar with, and I am satisfied that I may speak on these matters that I have personal knowedge of and offer my advice and aid to those in need.

We all take different paths to find our truths and I am very tired of being called a Charlatan by you. You who offer advice such as 'cold iron' (and not even on a recent exeperience that mentioned the Fey, the very 'spirits' that 'cold iron' is supposed to effect most). You who offer links to a fictional 'monster' on just about every experience that involves shadow people (the Slender man...). You who suggests...'just bite your tongue' to an individual who has stated they were experiencing 'complete paralisis' to the point they could not even scream. You offer advice like this and yet call me Charlatan.

If you are going to reply to this please bring it over to one of my experiences and let us not detract from the O/P experiecence here or any advice/help they may recieve.

PebblesnBammbamm,

I am sorry this had to happen here on your experience. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, I myself or many others here will do our best to offer answers and advice.

Respectfully,

Rook

put some holy objects around your best, call a priest to shoo the ghost out, or follow rook' advise.

Yes, we must annihilate the ghosts with extreme prejudice. That way, if they're still around, they ain't happy... 😜 I'll stop there.

[at] Stephy,
"There's a monster in your closet?
Well, I'll fix that..."
😆 😆
That movie is a classic in my book!

I have to admit, with my wandering mind, Moongrim's advice reminded me of that movie Major Payne. "Want me to show you a little trick to take your mind off that pain?" 😊 works every time! Hey, it worked in the movie! (sorry if no one knows what I'm talking about).

Awesome advice, Moongrim.

I've never seen a man bite his tongue with his eyelids, but I admittedly, am not as wordly as yourself.

Yeah, beware of those folks who believe in God, those far-fetched ideas of helping and loving people are far more suspicious than those from a guy who has purported to have read every one of nearly 10, 000 stories on this site and who's half-vast experience is now telling people to bite their tongue.

Classic.

[at] Moongrim,
Careful with that tackle box there son, looks like your running low on bait. Scraping the bottom there, aren't you?
Sad to see it come down to this.
Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Pitiful...
Just pitiful. 😢

Bite your tongue.

The next time you get into a situation where you can't move- bite your tongue, the pain will short circuit the paralysis.

And I'd be very careful taking advice from such charlatans as Rook. He is a Mormon who violates the tenets of his church by dabbling in matters supernatural.

PebblesnBammbamm,

Your saying this 'thing' followed you from your Grandmothers home to yours? That is odd... Please feel free to try this technique, I use it for myself, my home and my Family and it could help you.

Recipe for a Home Cleansing/Shielding... (allow for two or 3 days to complete)

Day one: Open all curtains window and doors with screens installed, let fresh air and sunshine into the home. Have all closets, cabinets and other 'dark spaces' open so that as much natural light as possible can enter those spaces. After 2-3 hours take a broom and 'sweep' out each room (this is symbolic and you do not have to really sweep) focus your thoughts on sweeping (pushing) out all negative energies / entities /thoughts. Close home up after completing each room of your home... Please do not forget your garage if you have one. (Optional) Light incense (sandalwood or Dragons-blood works well for me) and let aroma fill the home, and/or play a tape that contains your favorite Church/Positive, Upbeat (songs that give you good thoughts) songs before you begin sweeping.

Day two (or three): Once again open all curtains, windows and doors. Take a White candle (Optional) to the center most point of the home, sit on the floor and place candle in front of you. Light the candle (visualize a white ball of light) and then focus on the flame... Visualize the flame (white light) filled with positive thoughts, energy. (Say a prayer at this time if you so desire... Ask for cleansing positive energy to fill the candles flame/white light). Hold this 'image' in your mind and then visualize the flame (light) slowly expanding outward, visualize it filling the room your in, every corner and 'dark space'. Continue to visualize it expanding...it's outer edges pushing away (burning away) any and all negative energies/entities out and away from each room in your home. Once you have visualized this flame (light) filling your entire home, picture it expanding to your property lines. Hold this image in your mind for a few moments then visualize 'anchoring' this flame (light) where you are sitting which is the center most point of your home. Once you have done this. Take a deep breath, relax a few moments and then blow out the candle. (If you didn't use a candle just let yourself relax a moment or two.) "

Now you can create a shield for yourself using the 'home shield' technique but instead of focusing on your home visualize the 'flame' simply surrounding you instead of your home... Best time to do this is after a nice shower using a rosemary scented soap (rosemary is good for purification and protection.)

Please keep us informed.

Respectfully,

Rook
