I Saw His Father

Am so excited now, I saw a non- human, few minutes ago (07-04-2015 at 2.45p.m). This is my 2nd story to this site, am really curious to share what I saw. I'll start the story with a bit of information where am I right now. Am working in one of the best Printing Companies in Sri Lanka. This is a building with 4 floors, ground floor is the press, 1st floor is the pre-press, 2nd floor has all the departments such as Accounts, Sales and HR. Lunch room and the rest room is also in the 2nd floor with a Washroom. So here is the story,

I am reading stories in this site when ever I get a free time at the office. So as usual I was reading a story and wanted to go to the washroom. We have to pass the lunch room and the rest room to get into the washroom so when I was passing the rest room I saw our cleaner was there and he has fallen asleep. I just ignore it and went to the washroom and came back and when am passing the rest room I saw someone sitting next to the cleaner, looking at him. He was average sized and about 45 - 50 years old looking. I did not see his face clearly but he was wearing a black trouser and a black blazer and I saw a white Colour inside might be the shirt and black shoes. He wasn't scary at all. But I was scared LOL and walked again back to the washroom, (I don't know why I went back to the washroom instead of going out of the lunch room). I was shocked and was thinking what was that... Who was that man... And came to a decision that I should ask the cleaner. So I came back slowly out of the washroom and looked into the rest room and there was only the cleaner who was sleeping. I called him and asked, (Our conversation was in Sinhala and am translating it to english)

Me: "was anyone else there in this room with you?"

He: "No madam, why?"

Me: "I saw a man sitting next to you"

He: "what was he wearing?"

I told him what that man was wearing and the cleaner was not scared at all and was telling,

He: "Ah...That is my father madam, he passed away 2 years ago, I always feel that he is with me but I have never seen him, am happy that you saw him because now am sure that he is with me."

I felt really sad and confused at the same time because, how he know that is his father only by knowing the clothes he is wearing? So I asked him,

Me: "How can you be so sure that he is your father? Only by knowing the clothes he is wearing?"

He: (Was smiling) "THAT IS WHAT HE WORE LAST."

I was speechless and didn't understand what to say, so I just smiled and came back to my seat started typing the story to share with you all.

Kshaya_SL - first, I really enjoyed this story and thank you for sharing it with us.

Second, there are many different terms people use to describe those who have died. I have a friend who refers to everything of this nature as spirit, whether it is a spirit guide, a loved one who has passed, something that has not lived in human form, etc.

I have heard different explanations for why some people refer to ghosts as ghosts, spirits as spirits, or entities as entities. I think it all boils down to, as elnora said, wording. Taking into consideration members on this site are from all over the world, it doesn't make one person right and the other wrong. It's opinion, not fact.

You can search the internet and find differing explanations for the same thing. Still, just opinion. It's as simple as people who believe that shadow people are evil or bad just because they are black.

Again, thanks for sharing this with us 😊

sam22: Yes I agree that ghosts are people's souls but, People also called ghosts as "inhuman" I've seen this term in many stories in this site. So why "inhuman"? It is same as Non-Human right? Also I have heard that after death, those souls become what they really are. That means we can hide our real behavior/real thoughts and show people a different person when we are a human but as I have heard after death we can't hide it. We become what we really are, That is why there are bad ones and good ones (ghosts). That bad one might be a good person in human life. So there is a different as I believe. And of course I know what you told was what you believe and Thanks for sharing you thoughts! 😊

Ghosts are still humans they obviously represent them whether they are full or not, and the person they look like is a human whether they are alive or dead, and I believe that ghosts are the people's souls, and yes I think souls exists, your soul is who you are.

Sam222: By the term "non-human" I was trying to say not living as a human being. As elnoraemily said just wording... And personally I don't think that ghosts are too human. How can they be? 😕

Elanoraemily, yes that is a great way to put, because once your a human your always a human (dead or alive) you just change, and sometimes in ways that are hard to understand. Thanks for your input on that I was wondering what other people would think of that.

Typically, I consider non-human to have never been human. I think what they meant is non-living. Just wording.

Nice story.

Kshaya_SL, thank you for sharing this story, but I think the term you used; "non-human" isn't the right thing to say because ghosts/ apparitions are still human right? Or is this a debatable question?

Hello:

I'm sure the cleaner was very happy that you told him, and he was comforted by it. You were courageous to tell him since you probably didn't know how he would react. But in this case everything worked out well and it was a good thing that you chose to tell him what you saw. Maybe not everyone would be comfortable in accepting this type of information, but I certainly would want to know if someone saw one of my loved ones around me that I couldn't see myself.
I'm sure that you made him very happy and you should feel good about it.
Blessings,
Lynev

A really another freaky story from you. I was curiously waiting for your second story. Nice to know that cleaners too sleep in Sri Lanka like India. 😆

But jokes apart, I really felt bad about the cleaner and his loss. Once my Maths teacher told me that our dear ones always stay around us after they leave this world and always care us. Love, affection and care can never die with the person. We all are humans and there is a magical bond which ties us in relationships which is far apart from the boundaries of life and death.

A nice story! Thanks for sharing and please keep on sharing. 😊
