I See Faces

I used to live in a house that was haunted. My dog max, who is crossed over would always look at the couch in our old house like he was seeing someone there and like someone was talking to him. I recently moved from out of the county to the city. I only lived in this house for a short while... Less than a year. This photograph was taken a few nights ago, during severe thunderstorm of my backyard. I love to see it rain and was simply trying to capture the moment. Note there is no screen or window present in the picture. Straight shot from open back door. If you enhance the pic, I'm sure you will be surprised at what you see.

I See Faces

My husband took three photos right after I did and the photos were clear, just rain drops. We do live close to a cemetery. And maybe the energy from the storm brought on theses ghostly images likes faces and such. Just wanted some feed back to who could see it and who can not. Sharing this photo is something I have never done on a platform as this website. I enjoy this forum/website and thought maybe this was the perfect place to share it. I won't be offend if you do not see anything as so far it's 50/50. It's very fasinating to me that some people can see people's faces and others can not. It's makes you wonder how the mind works. Of course that is an entirely other subject. Are people just afraid to see it or are they just closed minded. I don't know you be the judge. I'm just here to share the pic. My daughter can also see faces in this photo. Most of the faces look unhappy.

Lucy Perkins--I love the picture and thanks for sharing. I couldn't use that link and got the 404 message, but I was able to open it in another tab and enlarge it a little. Now I'm one of those people who doesn't have a lot of imagination, but I clearly see the same man Tweed did, plus a few more. To me the biggest image is the one in the middle of the picture. He looks like a white caucasian with dirty blond short hair and he looks like he may have one of those high school letter jackets on in black and white. He looks like he's been grabbed by something around the neck and his mouth is opened like he screaming or smiling and the white of his right eye is wide, his face being slightly slanted toward you. Pretty fearful looking. It seems like I can see his arms for a ways.

Slightly to the right and a little lower, about where his left shoulder is, I see the face of what looks like a demon or devil.

At his right shoulder I see a doggish like face.

Behind him because he's clear, it looks like the legs of a man walking. He looks to me like he's wearing one of those coats like the Spanish troops would wear with it being cut away at the front and with tails behind. He looks like he's wearing a cumberband at about tooth level with the big main ghost, tho maybe that's just the teeth glowing.

My computer is messed up and I can't oversize pictures without going through a lot of trouble, so I can't easily pick out the other faces, though I see possibilities.

Thanks for sharing because it's a lot of fun seeing pictures that capture something, explainable or not.

Hey lucy,
Where that light on the ground coming from?
I think its an illusion being made by the light maybe.
And please can you show those other two pictures that your husband took...? 😐

THANKS, SAM! Now I can see what everyone else was looking at.

Admittedly, I'm using the back fence for reference, and I'm presuming it's between 6'-8' high (maybe 35 feet away?), that would make the faces airborne at an approximate hight of 15-17 feet, OR they're extremely close to the camera (within 4 feet) and very badly deformed.

I'm sticking with pattern recognition, here. (Sorry if I've offended anyone with that, especially Sam or Lucy!) At least I had the opportunity to look at the 'faces' that I'd been hesitant to confirm or deny with absolute certainty.

I was beginning to feel like one of those people who can't see the "hidden 3D images" in repeating-pattern art.

val - I completely agree with what you said and love the cloud analogy. And yes, there is no right or wrong in this case. Sometimes I disagree with the experts in this field who dismiss something that even I can see lol But, and I meant to mention this earlier, Lucy, don't give up taking pictures and sharing them 😊

Miracles,
What you say is very true. Just because someone can 'see' a face doesn't mean it's paranormal at all. Especially something as oblique as being seen within the mist, along with trees. It's sort of like looking at clouds. One might say "I see a tree", while another states it's a lollipop, while a third calmly states, "I see a cloud." It's interesting because in this particular picture it's faces. But then that begs the question, do we see the faces because we were told there were faces? But then how do you explain Sam and I seeing the same ones, in the same places? (Not being argumentative, or even looking for an answer, really. I just think it's neat in its own way.)
I don't think there's really a right or wrong answer for it. It is what ever it is, lol.

Okay, I've looked at the enhancements Sam has provided and I still don't see anything that would clearly define a face. What I see is possibly leaves or something else in the background that is creating a long-nosed (beaked) entity. You can make something out of just about anything.

Again, I am really bad at seeing paranormal in pictures; however, in my defense many of the things that are seen can be attributed to something else.

Lucy, you don't have to defend yourself or your pictures so please don't think I'm trying to disprove your evidence because I'm not. But I do feel as if I have to point out that things can be seen several different ways and even when others see what you see, not everyone will.

Well, I could see faces in the original, but I thought it was just me making 'sense' of random patterns. Then when I looked at Sam's enhancements, I wasn't so sure - because we had both seen the same faces in the same places. What ever the cause, paranormal or not, that's just plain cool.

Sam, thanks heaps for doing this!

I didn't see what you saw at all, I got something completely different. What you see makes far more visual sense as it's to scale with the surrounding backyard.
Before I viewed your enhancements I got a huge human face in the middle of the photo with a Halloween pumpkin lantern leaning against him to the right. It didn't make a lot of sense visually.
But your enhancements and perception does make sense, thanks again!
If what you found is a real entity it looks to be a nature spirit of some sort. 😊

And the reality could be one spirit behind one of those faces, and that spirit is out there laughing at us all having fun with this. Thanks Sam, and of course LucyPerkins for both the great paranormal story, but also the chance to explore this issue of facial recognition. 😁

Very cool, Sam! It still asked me to make an account, but I just tapped the screen, and that request went away. For me, it made me download it, but I wanted to do that. You did a great job. I can see more of the faces now that you highlighted them that way. Again, very cool! Thanks for going to that effort.

I just want to take a few minutes to list a few faces that have been seen by 6 plus different people. A woman with cat eyes (shape) a small dog, a coal miner, and old woman face, same face could be a old man not to sure. I also wanted to say it's not really the mist it's what is inside the mist and to the right of the mist. Either you see it or you don't. I feel like it will jump out at you if you are able to see it. We all do that's why we are sharing. As far as photoshop, it takes a desperate individual to photoshop a pic to share with you all. In hopes you see something. I have seen and witnessed a numbers of unexplained incidents. And believe me, my first instinct is to rationalize. And with that I have no need to try and dup you with an app or filter or anything else. That's just absurd and asinine. But I'm sure it happens. Thanks again! I'm ready to move on. And read other stories. LP

Thanks for trying to clarify the image, but I'm getting a 404 page with a drawing of a box that looks like Escher's "Impossible Block." I'd STILL like to see the faces...

granny - πŸ˜† yep, I've looked at this picture 3 times, even blew it up on the computer, and still can't see anything that to me resembles a face πŸ˜† That's why I made no comments LOL I'm pitiful at this part, huh? πŸ˜‰

Lucy, granny's right. Just because some people cannot see in pictures, etc what others see doesn't mean we don't believe. It just means we can't see what you see. Doesn't mean what you see isn't there and that we don't believe you. It's just the difference in people.

LucyPerkins, even with the ongoing discussion of our perceptual tendencies, I think energies often give us their faces in smoke or clouds exactly because we are likely to find them. They capitalize on our humanness. Looking forward to your added comments, Lucy.

Wow! Thanks for all the feedback! I'm at work and haven't been able to respond. But I see you... Lol your comments anyways. I will be checking and responding tomorrow with what the different kind of faces that others people see. [at] sam222 I would love to see what you did with the photo and compare what I see. How do I get your email address? I have circled a few faces on that photo but didn't share it. Well because of this photo. I have two friends that want me to share their photos and stories. So stay tuned a few more stories and photos are coming. LP

LucyPerkins: Thank you for sharing. I have to go along with the perception/pareidolia comments. But, that doesn't mean I'm willing to discount your experiences. Most, of what I call the paranormal community, are not going to accept still photos as evidence for several, varying reasons. And now-a-days the internet, photoshop and ghost apps have made it nearly impossible to believe anything we see πŸ˜†.

Personally, I love these (as well as orb) photos when they're presented with a credible personal experience. It's the rebel in me, I guess!πŸ˜†

To answer your question about whether those who don't see anything are unwilling or too closed-minded: I really don't think it has much to do with it. Some just can't see what others do unless they're given specific direction and it's pointed out to them. We have some on this site, and as a matter of fact, our own awesome Miracles51031 is one of them LOL. And she's a believer if ever there was one.

Again, thank you for posting! 😊

Well until I fix this and find a different way, anyone who wants to this just tell me, and I'll email you the file, it's a pdf of a few pages. It is very interesting, I think after looking at this you will see the faces in Lucy's pic.

And I agree, Tweed, you gotta love perception. It is this stuff that we have to work hard to get computers/AI to replicate. This is an evolutionary adaptation to make it easier for us to recognize our friends and enemies quickly.

Thank you LucyPerkins for generating such a wonderful face perception conversation!

Sam, is there another way you can show us your face image?
