Hide And Seek A Ghost

My story started when I was between the ages of 4-5 years old. First off at that time I never really experienced any ghost encounters but have known about ghosts ever since then because of watching too much horror movies that involved ghosts. Plus, I usually overheard my Grandparents and/or parents talking about their ghost experiences which gave me chills when I was little. Oh and one last thing, I'm bad at grammar and stuff so please bear with me.

Anyway, it started when I woke up 7:00 in the morning. I did all my morning routines like eat, brush my teeth, etc. I went outside there after. As a kid I'm very outgoing, always looking for fun and I usually share that fun with my friend Reggie.

When I met up with him that morning we took a walk around the neighborhood. Then we saw this "under construction house". It's a house with gray bricks, metal rooftop, and it's only one story high. We planned to play hide and seek and decided who it is under a game of rock, paper, and scissors. Fortunately he was it so then he started to count and I ran inside. When I got in, there isn't much place to hide in because the only places I could hide were 2 rooms and a bathroom near the other exit of the building. So I decided to hide in the bathroom.

When I entered the room I saw this "thing" standing in the corner. Its body was somewhat dark as night, I saw its guts hanging on its stomach, and his face somewhat got squished by something because this thing was ugly. I look at it for only a few seconds and ran outside screaming because it intimidated me. Then when I got outside I saw my friend waiting for me and immediately said, "you saw it too huh?" I replied with a yes of course and asked him tons of questions about it. Then again all I got from him was that he doesn't know what it was. As we walk away from the property, frightened, we kept talking about what we saw until we got home and told our parents what we just saw.

One thing that bothers me from this experience was, why didn't I hear my friend screaming when he saw it too? Anyone help me about this? Thank you

i think your friend is still in state of shock... Some people when they got really scared. They have no guts to scream because of fear they encounter. 😲

Good story. One main point is that at the time you were just 4-5 years old. This is a time when you believe in things such as monsters under your bed etc. Maybe your imagination just went into overdrive for the moment, or your sight mis interpreted something. This is merely one view and I don't necessarily agree or disagree with your story. Thanks for your time 😁

Now now people, I'm sure that I'm not going to be the first nor the last person to tell you this but the Philippines really is a country shrouded in a veil of supernatural and hearing stories like this for us is somewhat common and not really out of the blue. The US and the western countries are too much urbanized (as compared to the somewhat rising Philippines) and that can be a contributing factor to all of these hauntings and sightings. I too am having not doubts but alternate theories as to his alleged sighting. Just to clear that for you westerners out here ^_^

As KimSouth0 said, are you sure that this was an entity?
Try to find ways to explain what happened, without jumping to the conclusion that this was a ghost.
One thing I don't understand, is when you walked into the bathroom you said this 'thing' was standing in the corner.
Was it facing you, or the wall?
Take care ❤

Maybe you were so scared that you couldn't hear him scream. Sometimes our bodies will do strange things when in extreme cases of fear. Maybe you kinda' mentally locked up.

H Darj. I liked your story and I think its possible that there was a ghost. Buyt first remeber to be sceptical because most things are explainable. Once they can't be explained then there is a chance that this is paranormal. Thanks for sharring. I hope to hear from you soon and take care

The reason why you might have not heard your friend scream is because he just might have not screamed. I know when I am scared I do not scream. I stand there and stare in disbelief. Your friend may have done that.

Well freckle... The house is pretty small. 3 rooms that's all, then there's this huge space probably for kitchens and living room and for future rooms. I really can't explain if there's two spirits/entity in the house because me and my friend never really talk about this experience. So thx for the comment

Did he see it in a different part of the house? At the same time? Because that would be so creepy!

If you went to the bathroom, and he went in to find you, but left before you... Then there was two of them? Please elaborate, I'm a bit confused.

One thing I know is I'm sure it's a ghost or something. We came back on that building moments later after we told our moms with a few people. It wasn't there anymore.

It is possible that you did not hear your friend scream because you were in different sections of te house or the yard.

One question, did you report this to the police or anything? I mean, are you certain this was an entity and not the victim of a crime?

God Bless
