This happened to me one night when I was lying in bed with all my lights off just watching TV. I was all rapped up in my blanket nice and warm and I was drifting off to sleep, though I was not tired for it was only about 8:30 and I was startled when I heard a strange voice whisper in my left ear, "Cupid",

I was scared because I was just thinking about angles and everyone knows that there is a story of cupid the angle, and I had just got a book from my nana about angles and it says that my guardians name was cupid! So at this point I'm very scared and I never got out of my bed that night until morning.

When I asked my sister if she has seen or heard anything the night before, she said no. I figured it was just my imagination and I went to the toilet, just as I was finishing up, I saw a dark figure standing right in front of me when I had finished washing my hands. I was so afraid that I ran through it and at that point when I had finally reached my bedroom I felt woozy, I need help with what I have experienced, mainly the part when I felt woozy straight after I ran through "it".

So please if anyone has any answers I will be happy to read them and will join in the conversation, and finally thank you for reading my story

Odd, but the name "Cupid" means safe, secure, happy, pleasing, (Or something like that) But not dark, and it would not make you feel Woozy... 😐

it ain't your imagination darling! I really think it was Cupid and maybe he just wanted to point you that your soulmate is calling... That he/she was close to you in that moment (like a neighbor or something) ... I never walked through Michael (my soulmate spirit) because he doesn't like it when people do that... So I have no idea how it feels... Wait a bit, he says it's okay if I try...
It just seems really warm to me and I got shivers... It's a pretty cool thing, but I won't do it again...

umm, princess? That was NOT yor guardian angel. A guardian angel is not dark colored, and would make you feel safe, secure, and warm if you ever encounterd it. In my opinion, that was an evil energy or spirt, maybe even demon trying to mess with your head and possibly control you. 😨

i believe everyone has a gardian angel. Even sometimes when you think there not around theree always there for you. What you heard was your angel telling your its name don't be scared lol

Hi and thank you for sharring this story with us. I think its hard to say if this was cupid. I think that because you were reading a book about it might have caused your mind to play tricks on you. But the shadow might be something different. I realy can't say if this was your mind playing tricks on you or was this maybe something paranormal. I hope to hear from you soon and take care

i think that your guardian angel... Was trying to protect you because its obvious you know... But like you said that you saw a dark figure... I believe you shouldnt worry because you have someone that protects you and that's with you even though you don't notice it or feel it 😁

What you saw I'm suspecting could have been a Jinn. Jinn's like dirty places like bathrooms, basements, basically any non-hygenic place. I had an experience years ago with a Jin which I will be writing about later.
To those who don't know what a Jinn is, there basically like a "spirit" being (but not quite a spirit/ghost) which exists around us all the time. We cannot see them normally however at times they can appear to us in any shape or form they wish.

hi everyone, sorry I know all of you are saying that angels are like bright and friendly things, yes I know that is what I am saying, but the bit about the black shadow, was a different ghost I was talking about, sorry I should have mentioned that in the story!

Thank you for sharing another interesting experience with us. It's a difficult situation; the whisper could have been your guardian angel or it could have been your subconscious recalling/reacting to the book you read. As for the woozy feeling that sounds like your body reacting to the adrenalin. You said you were "so afraid that I ran through it", that would have caused you body to shoot adrenalin into your system, the woozy feeling is from the aftermath of the adrenalin; the crash so to speak. What the shadow figure was, my best suggestion is to do some research on your house to see what pops up. I hope all is well now. God bless. 😊

You must really be very cautious of this event.

Woozy feelings can not be particularily good... It truely is an uncomfortable feeling. I would say if you did not like it then it was not right...

Now the cupid reference, if you felt warm and fuzzy... Even comfortable when you were reading the book your nana gave you. That could be what made you vulnerable to any presence that wants to control you or your environment... The famous Candy man!

How has your behavior been since the Woozy episode?
How has your relationships been with your family since the Woozy episode?

As my friend Devious Angel states... A well written book can easily influce your events.

I will state this... With every haunting there is 20 events... Ten are real... Ten are brought on by stress from the haunting. This alone can influnce the real haunting.

Here's just a guess of what MAY have really happened.

Suppose Cupid really WAS there. Maybe he helped you to notice the shadowy figure you saw. All the shadowy figures I have come across, I have had a depressing and angry feeling when they were in my presence. That just naturally leads me to believe that they probably Don't want you there (But you know, that's just me). Your Guardian angel may have protected you from that shadowy figure, if it really were of harm to you.

I agree with vintage angel don't have shadow figure it surpose to have a bright white figure with wings and warm figure yes. It could be something eles what you saw it front of you.

I think that a guardian angel would have a warm, bright feeling. And it's appearance would be the same.

I have seen shadowy figures before, but those are Definately NOT gaurdian angels.

I think this is a case of overactive imagination, darling.:) And just FYI, it's "angel", not "angle."
