I am curious to find out whether anyone else has experienced any of the paranormal encounters I have...

Most recently, I was on the bus and I could hear whistling, at first I thought it could be the wind or the tires but then I realized it was a tune, I looked around and no one on the bus was whistling. At the following stop everyone but me got off and yet I could still hear the whistling, I got off the bus and I could sense someone following I looked around and again no one was there, then the whistling started again. It may sound rather strange but it is beginning to really creeped me out.

The previous incident was about a week or two before, I was drying my hair, turned around because I thought my mother or father was coming up, but all I saw was an old man, about 6ft tall, dressed in a pullover, shirt and bow tie, hair combed over and he looked very emaciated. This incident did not creep me out as much as the whistling did as I have seen ghosts before.

I also often feel as though someone is holding my hand, it is ice cold and doesn't go away until I move my hand.

My first ever spooky experience was when I was about 8/9 years old and my grandma had recently died and I had taken to sleeping on the floor. I woke up feeling terribly cold, my eyes fixed onto my bed, my grandma was sitting watching me smiling, like she used to do when I was little.

Hey SpookyStar. I love that name by the way. 😁

I realise that I probably say this quite a bit, but I honestly think this may have just been a Guardian Spirit letting you know it was there. Either that or an almost Incubus/Succubus encounter? But for some reason, I don't think it was the latter. 🤔

I also agree with miss_pachia about checking out everything around you, don't just instantly presume it was a spirit.
However, if this was a spirit, how did you feel when hearing the whistle? Did you feel that it was just trying to let you know it was there? Or that it wanted attention? Or did you just feel fear?

Sorry about the pessimistic nature of this comment. 😢 I loved the part about your Grandma though, that was really touching.

Where I work there is a ghost who whistles sometimes when I am alone in the building. Trust me, I checked out the whole building calling out and there was no one there. I have spent enough time in this building to know all of its creaks and moans from the wind. I have seen, heard and felt things my whole life. I was a little unnerved but knew that whoever it was did not want to hurt me just let me know they were there.
Since I can also feel the angry ones too.
You have a gift that can be a good thing if you want to embrace it or if not tell the spirit to go away. You have that power.
On another note, our loved ones check in on us from time to time. Especially after their death. My friends or family who have crossed over usually come in my dreams where they talk to me. They know I can't stand the seeing and feeling part of making themselves known. It can catch me off guard and creep me out. Does anyone else have vivid dreams of loved ones who have passed away leaving a message before they go?

HeartlessDemon, I too have been through a demon like experience, I will write about it in my next story.

Everyone else, thank you for your participation it has all been helpful, the tune wasn't really recognizable, but it wasn't simply the wind.

Khloros! Yeah, I know.:) innocent ghost look scary tho... I always go check it out what that sound is... But then sometime I tempt not to moved.

Your story is actually very touching.
I can't remember where I read this about ghosts and the real world. But It seems that a ghost does not know that it has passed on, so it keeps coming back to the world it new when it was living and looking for the ones they loved and also watching over them as they did when they were alive. And living people miss the people so much from that have moved on from their lives that sometimes they expect to see the person they loved and cared for appearing again as if they were still alive.
You must have been very close to your grandmother.

miss_pachia is right check it out before you go blaming some innocent spirit, now on the other hand if it is a spirit then that is worht it because if its an notable tune or song then I highly doubt its a ghost. Because they have a rather hard time braking the vail in an understandable tone its usually distorted or mixed up. But this is just coming from your friendly internet pagan friend 😁 ❤

If you guys keep hearing noises from around you and there no one there. I think it better to follow where that noise is coming from. It might be a whistles from a wind or a stuff is making that sound. If you think about ghost to much that is why it always creep you out. When I get scared I run like a lion to attack where that noise is coming from then when I found out. It a metal hole making air noise which sound it like a ghost whistling. All remember to follow your ears to where that sound is coming from. ❤ ❤

Wow...thats really deep. I have only had bad experiences with ghosts. Recently this demon jumped at me. I don't know if it possesed me or not but for the last week all my dreams have been nothing but my friends and family being killed. It was really wierd O_o.I couldn't explain what happened but maybe some can. Please tell me if you know what I should do

It's intriguing to read so many different ways that people experience the unexplained. I don't know how the so called experts that tell you exactly what it is and how to get rid of it or what it means gets their information since they are still on this mortal plain with me, but obviously they believe they do. I don't really speak of such things out loud in the real world we live in everyday because people look at you as if your mad, but I read a lot about it, and if the subject comes up I pry a little to hear what others have experienced or stories they have from close family or friends that they can rely on as truth. I really have no idea what I'll do after I pass on or what my desires will be if any. First my main priority is to avoid hell. After that I would think that since there are at least 6 billion who have gone on before me, a certain amount of them would have avoided the pit too, so I think I would tend to want to hang out with them and not with the living. But who knows, if you have all eternity I guess you have time to do it all. Have you tried talking to what ever is there with you? Or trying to remember dreams and writing them down when you get up? If it gets more pronounced let us know what happens. I don't know if I've ever heard of a whistling ghost. Also, do you know the tune?
