Hi applerose, I believe that as big and as wide as our universe is we can't be the only planet that has life. I totally believe your stories and probably would have been scared out of my wits if I ever saw that. I'm a city girl so those U.F.O.'s don't come around here much. I guess it's too bright and noisy for them. Although I'm sure if one landed right in the middle of Times Square I don't think anyone would blink an eye. The cabbies would probably just blare their horns at it for causing traffic. LOL! ๐Ÿ˜† I do have interest in them though and when I am upstate taking a relaxing weekend away I can't lie and say I don't search the sky for them. ๐Ÿ˜‰

BJJ, you have me cracking up over here. I would have loved to see that. ๐Ÿ˜†

I just recently found out... There is a whole sect of Christian folks, who believe UFO's and Alien abduction is real, but demonic. Apparently, they believe these creatures to be demons, and some swear they are able to counter an abduction with prayer... I have been following the UFO thing for many years now, and this is the first I have heard of this movement. They have stickers around with the pic of an alien in circle, with a red line through it. I recall seeing one of these stickers on a turnpike toll booth once, scratching my head. Now I know what it is about. Like I said, when it comes to the paranormal, who really knows what is what?

Unfortunately anything that flies and is not recognized by the viewer is a UFO... However in this case, both encounters go beyond lights in the sky that were moving very fast. I believe you saw actual flying craft from...? Well, I couldn't say where from, another planet? Another dimension? There are good points that it could be either.

Keep watching the night skies, these were Great Encounters...

BadJuuJuu... I was born and raised in Houston and currently live in the Austin/Round Rock area so I know exactly where you are coming from... Long Live Duck Tape! ๐Ÿ˜

Respectfully,

Rook

Applerose, we are from east Texas, so we could easily be labeled redneck loonies as well lol. Actually, I wear that title with pride. I can fix anything if I have enough duck tape. Duck, not duct. Who actually says the "t" anyway?
I would love to read your family's stories. Real accounts are so much better than Hollywood.
Rashidah, looking back on it, it is pretty funny lol. That night though, there was some soiled underpants. ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† Badjuujuu that was quite a hilarious account. I am sorry, but the way you described it in vivid detailed sounded funny. But I would have panicked even more than you if I was in your shoes at that time ๐Ÿ˜

Applerose
The southern states do have a lot of sightings though, I really cannot explain why. In Trinidad, these encounters are very few. Maybe because Trinidad is such a tiny island.

Rashidah and Badjuujuu: Thank you both for your comments. I never really tell anyone that I have actually seen an U.F.O. - because everyone thinks you're one of those "redneck loonies" that saw "sumtin' in the sky" - and me being from Georgia?...well...do I need to say more... ๐Ÿ˜†
Now, we talk about these sightings often in my family - because several members in my family have had experiences in seeing U.F.O.'s - I even had an uncle chased down by one -I still get chills from that one and that happen in the late 70's.
What I may do is submit another story - but this will be based on the stories that my family has told me through the years - there are some pretty scary stuff. ๐Ÿ˜จ

I saw something earlier this year, back in the spring. I watched that thing for several minutes, then my hubby asked what I was staring at. I pointed out this really bright "star" that was flying in small circles. He looked at it, then said "Connie, get the F**K in the house! Now!" He never talks to me like that, so I figured he had to be serious and ran for it lol. He was right on my heels, slammed the door shut, and said "That was a UFO! We just saw a freaking UFO!"
I'm not so into gawking at the night sky anymore.

UFOs are pretty scary. There are lots of documentaries about them on The History Channel. I am watching one now as I type.
The scariest part are the animal mutilations. That is creepy. ๐Ÿ˜

To be completely honest, UFOs scare the crap outta me. Your story scared the crap outta me. I've seen some strange stuff in the sky. Ghosts and such I can deal with. UFOs... Not so much. This is one of the most easily believable UFO stories I've ever read.
No probe without a nice dinner first.
(Sorry. I always crack jokes about creepy stuff.)

I believe this story completely. There have been more and more UFO sightings on the news these days.

Not to sound like a loony bin but I believe something big is coming soon concerning these outer worldly visits.
