Wow lou, what an amazing account, your story is what I call a genuine haunting and I have no doubt when Jacob surrendered himself to the light all will be forgiven and he will not want to come back in any hurry or if he did it would be to apologize... I do believe those who have experienced the light and the power of God are not obsessed with their previous life and it's misfortunes, sometimes the emotions of family can draw you back but considering Jacob has been dead such a long time I would think his immediate family are all over there... Interesting about the burial, it's does seem very important in helping the spirit move across I have heard of that too mate, your team knew what they were doing.

lou so it finally comes to the ending of a fantastic story!
After all that happened I'm not surprised the though of honering this guy would be so out there that it would be the last thing you wanted to do but as it sounds like it has worked I guess your glad you took the advice and went through with it, except the scare your wife got with the bullfrog!
Got to ask have you seen or felt the girl since?
Ok going to slip off now add this to favs and read them all over again 😁
Thank you so much for adding a fantastic story lou (even though it took a whileπŸ˜†)

This story was deep, the historical research and the way everything came together was awesome. I'm glad that your family is free of Jacob now!

Fantastic story, an instant favorite. I love the way you seamlessly wove the history of the property and the people who lived there with the present.

Jav, ILee,

I don't have any real evidence other than being told by a psychic that her burial site is in or near a rock outcropping, and the experiences I had in "The Hunt" confirm the location for the most part.

Although it is obviously important and I do take the time to acknowledge the location where I feel she was buried whenever I am near it; she does not require visitors, she gets around pretty good on her own.

[at] geetha,
Now I don't feel so bad. I did the same thing, went back to refresh my memory. Glad I did too. 😊

Lou,

I'm really glad to hear that it all ended that evening! I can understand that something like this will "haunt" (no pun intended) you forever.

My thoughts are the same as Javelina, did you ever find out where the girl was buried?

Your stories are amazing. I had such chills reading it. I hope that the ceremony worked and that your family can live peacefully now.

WOW! Simply Wow. I read some of your stories before and when I read this one, I had to go back to refresh my memory with the other stories. Wow, what an experience? I have to give you, your family, and the paranormal group for staying so strong. Like Javelina said I love the way the other spirits chose to help you out and showed the bull frog as your signal. I would have to say though that it was kind of creepy to feel those other spirits but I would have the common mind to know that these spirits wanted the same thing as you (to get rid of Jacob).

Going to my favourites...

Thank you for clearing that up Lou. Just the thought of that creep having done what he had to that poor child makes me want to...well, you know. But it still doesn't make it any easier, daughter or not, he was just pure evil.
Did you ever figure out where she was buried?

Your friend,
Jav

Thanks, Jav. To be honest I never believed she was his daughter, hence the title of my story, "Her Abductor"...sorting through historical paperwork and records leaves a lot to be missed. If this child was his, she would have been born before Marie died, and I would have thought, would have resided with him at that time... I really don't know.

Thanks, ILee. No, those problems ended that evening
...Jacob (sigh), I can at least say that he doesn't bother my family or our employees anymore, which is what was most important to me when we undertook this process. Remnants of his existence, whether it is actually him or not, will likely be with me forever.

Wow what an amazing story! Thanks for sharing. You mentioned that your wife heard whispers and your child saw a man in the closet after returning from the lake... Did that continue for awhile or did that stop?

And since then, do you feel that Jacob has truely left?

Holy Crapoly Lou!
I have gone over several different scenarios in my head over why he would be so pissed at you and what the girl had to do with all of it, but I didn't guess this one. SHE WAS HIS DAUGHTER?! Oh this guy needs to stay gone for good. I know you told me I was going to hate this guy, and you were absolutely right about that. I would have been just as reluctant as you to having to show him any type of honor or respect, blech!
Here's what is going to stick with me the rest of the week though, the way you described the sounds coming from the forest as you and the paranormal team were trying to finish the ceremony and dunk the remains of that into the pond. That was creepy. It gave me chills up the back of my spine to the top of my head. I swear I could almost feel my hair growing!
This guy was a menace! And I just pray this took care of his butt for good. Because I still can't get the image out of my mind from the day your daughter confronted you about him, that still gets my fists balled up when I think about it.
But I have to say Lou, you never disappoint. Not once.
*Whew*, this was a great ending (let's hope) to this experience. I'm very happy for you and your family that this is over with.
Thank you for sharing this with us Lou. And don't ever stop.

Your friend,
Jav 😊
