Venky,
I don't know if it's your Engrish, a lack of communication, lost in translation- or all three- But your posts come off to me as wild non sense. Every one of them.
Sarge,
as mentioned. Take away the whole "Demon" thing, and you have described a friend caught up in addiction... Although I don't think that was what you were going for here. I'm curious if you'll answer the questions below-

sarge82,

That really depends on how impresionable an individual is and the type of drugs and/or other people that may be involved as well.

So please provide some answers to the questions and let's see if we can work this whole thing out.

Casual use does not 'quite' led to that type of 'illusion' or 'belief' but long term use of Hallucinogens can convince an individual that the 'visions' are real... And if they go into withdrawls... They can convince themselves of pretty much anything...

Please provide as many details as you are comfortable with... And we will offer as much advice and aid as we can.

Respectfully,

Rook

To Rook anything is possible, Can drugs make someone believe they are possessed by a demon?

sarge82,

(Taking a DEEP BREATH) Ok...lets, for the sake of argument, say this happened... My questions will be based on this persective...

How old was Mike when he went missing? (asked because there are people who do not seem to look like they are getting older between the ages of say 20/21-35/36)

Did his eyes really 'change' or did you just notice that the pupils were extremly dilated? (asked because certain drugs cause the eyes to dilate to the point where they can appear solid black)

You mentioned that this 'demon' still torments his parents to this day... Did 'Mike' return home? (I ask because if Mike's 'demon' was a physical dependency on drugs... Then I can believe this 'tale')

Mikes responses to your questions sound as if they could have come from someone going through withdrawls... His actions could even be from an individual suffering from addiction and withdraws... The only argument to that is his 'unchanged' appearence... But you never know...

Please answer some of our questions...

What is Mike's Last Name?

What year did he return?

How old was he when he vanished?

Did he really hold you in the air or was it really a grab and toss and somehow you remember it as being picked up and thrown?

Just what (how) is 'he' tormenting his Family to this day?

No real help or good advice can be given based on the details you have provided... Every good investigator needs as much information as possible so that the correct answer may be found and proper aid can be rendered.

Respectfully,

Rook

I agree with minimom. I have read some pretty unbelievable stuff way before I started my own account
But this... This is just something that looks like a third grader came up with!
I don't believe this one bit, not trying to sound rude, but I just don't.

Sorry but this sounds like something out of a high school creative writing class.

Well, maybe middle school...

Shellzy- it was 10 years. Dude had been MIA for 10 years before his murder, this demon decided to come tell Sarge82 out of all people, dude is dead because this demon killed him. Like this info even helps this story look less recockulous.

Ummm I don't get it. This demon in your "story" obviously meant business with you throwing you around like a ragdoll after being in your house for 5 minutes, yet it took two whole weeks after your friend went missing for this demon to "take" him?

Sorry mate but methinks you should lay off watching scary stuff on t.v for a little while!

I...I just cant... So you're saying this spirit just left after roughing you up & solving the riddle of where your long lost friend has been? & Thats it? I'm a tad insulted. Being physically harmed by demons is serious. Not something to just throw in to spice up campfire tales. I hope, for YOUR well being this tale of yours does not cause a spirit to feel like it has invitation to come mingle with you. Moongrim- surprise surprise- but you have made really good points. Thank you. 😁 I really just don't know how else to respond to this.

...and he was the demon who took him... And then...nada.

Right. So before the tv series Supernatural came along, more often than not, if someone was 'possessed' by a demon, their eyes took upon a look similar to what Linda Blair had during the movie Exorcist.

And before that... They took on a red aspect...

You predicted that it was a demon and the nice demon was courteous enough to confirm it...

BUT, he held you up by your throat and threw you into the chair you'd been sitting in... You living room, your apartment, your bedroom, your caravan? What exactly...
There are a whole lotta details missing- which leads one to assume that it's a fanfiction story. Many times writers will leave out said details unless it was relevant to the plot.

And the most important part- your being essentially 'hanged' by the 'demon'.

For a second or two- you have your entire weight being supported by one man's hand, and more importantly- your neck.

The neck is very delicate part of the human body, very susceptible to damage, and very easy to cause severe problems from momentary contact.

Police themselves have 'accidentally' killed folks from minor chokeholds. And we're supposed to believe that you shrugged such off in Hollywood fashion?

I think not.

I think the tv series, Supernatural, has quite the following for slashfiction fans.

Wouldn't you agree?

Sarge,

Note: Please understand that everyone will have their opinion whether we like it or not and I personally respect everyone's opinion.

I enjoyed reading your story and personally I do like to think is true. I know things that exist in this world that if I was to mention it to people they would laugh on my face or think I'm crazy.

I had an encounter with a demon that possessed my aunt and I know what they are capable of.

Have you encounter this demon again? And how is it tormenting your friends family?

Respectfully.

Looney

Can I ask what is Mike's last name? And have you ever experimented with drugs at all and if so which ones?

Sounds like a fiction to me. It would be nice if it is a true story.

Subtle_Poetics I really just told this story the way I remember it. Yes it did leave, It did not seem to want to cause physical harm but more mental basically saying this is what I have done and there is nothing you can do about it.

Oh, and I would also like to know what happened with the demon after it told you it was the one who killed Mike.

Um ok, I have so many questions.

1) What was going on with Mike before he disappeared?
2) Did you witness any changes with him?
3) Did Mike ever tell you he felt there was something paranormal going on with him and his family?
4) Why would a demon come back after 10 years and knock on your door at 3:00am
5) Was there a police investigation in regards to help finding out where Mike was and what happened to him?
6) You said in a previous comment that this demon still torments Mike's family, have they ever seen it take the form of their son?

I hope you can answer some of these questions and help clarify the situation for us.

Thanks,

The story appears upon first glance to contain certain plot holes.

The premier being your complete neglect to provide an ending. Did this entity just cease this exchange with you and walk out without another word.

I am certainly not a person to be guessing at the habits of the demonic, but I deem this reaction unlikely.

Please, proved the end of the story. Thank you.

Yeah, I read stories on here and on the other site too and occasionally I see stories posted on both sites. I just knew it sounded familiar to me. I sometimes do a google search, because there have been instances where people post something and it wasn't their story, they just cut and pasted from somewhere else. I didn't think that was the case here, but I like to check things out, if that makes sense. 😊

😲

How did you survive this 'encounter' with a 'Demon'? It obviously did not kill you. Did you run screaming from the house after 'it' tossed you into the chair... You can not just end this with his 'demon' telling you what happened to your 'friend'. There must surely be more... Please tell us...

Full Sarcasm Intended,

Rook
