Really good story. I think Miracles, has a point, about, it being your aunt at different stages of her life. Somehow makes the most sense. 😁

granny - I don't know that this classifies as hypocritical LOL. All of your stories are here, so in a sense, you are keeping a journal 😉

Fergie: I think when our lives are busy, things still happen but are pushed to the back ground as just something strange, if given thought at all... Like "How did the TV remote get in the fridge? Oh well, must have been the kids!" 😆, and we never think to ask them 😆...

I'm sure if you think back, there are a few events that will cross your mind that were just written off as kookie stuff...That's why Miracles preaches about "The Miracles Journal"...Even small things may have no explanation whatsoever, but if we don't think about them, or put them somewhere to be remembered, they get lost and we're left wondering whether anything's happened at all...Also, I preach about it, but I'm a big hypocrite when it comes to documenting anything LOL! ❤

Your story was anything BUT boring! ❤ Sorry to hear about your aunt and dogs x My opinion is that you and your husband were both so used to seeing your aunt make her way to the toilet you coaxed yourselves into thinking she will pass and that added with a mixture of shadows will transform into a ghoul. As for Zeus being reluctant to pass into kitchen has me a bit miffed though pets can be awkward sometimes.

Hi crf1997, Thank you for your comment. You don't know my girls! Not a dull moment when they were around. Always some drama or other going on. When you have three girls, so close in age, there are bound to be fire-works, most of the time.
We were/are the only family to inhabit this house. I must admit though, there was a small farm-house built on this land, a long time ago.
🤔
I am glad that this account was interesting to you.
Good luck with more tales of your own. 😊 ❤

Thank you Argette, I thought my story was rather 'hum drum', but I suppose not all haunting have to be horrific.
Please let me know about that 'bell', when you wrap your head around it, It may just be very interesting.
It would be very interesting, if my husband & I were seeing two different women. I still wonder who the heck they could be? 😲

Fergie - in my own life, I've noticed because things had been so chaotic for the last several months (I was very sick for about 6 weeks, we got an Australian Shepherd puppy who was inside for a couple months) and dear God between the pup and our Demon Cat 😆, I don't think I would have noticed our little girl ghost if she sat down beside me.

It wasn't until our pup, Ryder, was officially banished to the outdoors 😉 that we started noticing the activity again. My little boy saw our ghost man again about a week or so ago and our little girl ghost tugged twice on the belt of my robe this past Tuesday evening. Just two quick little tugs within a couple of minutes of each other, just to let me know she was there. It completely caught me off guard 😆. But it was so cool.

Long story to tell you that, yes, I do think we can be so wrapped up in our own lives that we don't notice anyone else in our home until things are calmer.

Great story, by the way. Thank you.

I'm thinking about the different women you and your husband saw. If it's possible you both saw your aunt, but at different stages of her life.

AH! You stayed in that house when you saw women walking to the bathroom? I'd get out of there ASAP! But I'm a scaredy cat! I can't even handle footsteps. But this story was very interesting, not boring at all.
And I don't know about your last statement about your daughters. Yes it is a possibility that you were too busy to notice the spirits, but a slim chance. It's hard to miss those types of things.
Do some research about your house, see if those two women that you and your husband saw going to the bathroom actually lived there.

Not boring at all! Really very interesting. Something here rings a bell with me, but I cannot wrap my mind around it. Somewhere at sometime, I have experienced something similar.

Interesting about the differences in what you and your husband see.

Have to ponder that.
