I found this story a bit troubling. Sitting down for dinner past 7pm is not a good idea. The body needs time to digest the meal before sleep. To do otherwise, may cause digestive problems- heartburn and the like. Not to mention the potential to gain weight, as it is impossible to burn off the calories while sleeping- and lastly, one may encounter disturbing dreams while digesting recently comsumed foods. I'd have a talk with Mom about a possible six o'clock supper, rather than the 8:00 hour.
