Carmabis - I am apologizing for taking time away from your story, but I see no other way of getting Debris's attention as he/she is not responding to other attempts to take conversation somewhere else. So, please excuse me for just a moment.

Debris - I've read your repeated comments about "spooks" being dumb, not intelligent, etc. And on behalf of the ghosts in my home, as well as the others I have shared my home and life with, I am offended. Yes, we are all entitled to our opinion, which is what you are doing: voicing your opinion. But I, as well as many, many others on this site, have had personal experiences with intelligent ghosts and I strongly disagree with your opinion. And that it based on personal experience.

I also, contrary to what you believe, am not a negative person or angry day in and day out. Everyone has their bad days, so I won't lie and say I'm happy 100% all day every day, but my ghosts aren't what causes me to have a bad day when I have one. To have an experience, to hear a voice behind me when I'm the only home, that makes me smile and want to share it with my friends. Negative? Nah 😊

debris,

You asked me what I thought Ghosts were... I answered on one of my threads in order to not clutter the comments of the story you asked it on...here's the link...

My answer is about '4' down... I'm really interested in your reaction (if any) Hope you'll check it out and not ignore the fact you asked me and that I answered you...

Shlain, everybody has his/her own beliefs no matter how irrational.
Since the beginning of time the universe has been obeying the physical laws. We and everything are bound by the laws of science. Nothing has the power or can break the physical laws. It would result in total choas in the universe. Man would live for ever. But is it the case. No.
Even God doesn and cannot and won't break his own laws. Example -can he say to the sun"dont rise from here today, rise from a few miles to the right "?He cannot and won't ever do that.
Now the belief that disembodied folks can cause physical damage is going a little too wild with ones imagination.
We have to live within certain physical laws. One beliefs no matter how irrational cannot change the reality even by a hairs breadth. Supposing I start talking thatways at my work or with my relations and friends, they will take me to a shrink, who will in turn lock me up with the instructions to throw away the key. As long as we live we have to acknowledge what's real.
Coming back to Carmabis's story, I'm not saying she is lying or hallucinating. Or she is out of her mind. Many people who practice kundlani yoga report similar experiences. Some even go mad. These experiences are so real. Carmabis DID see the fist. But if she would have hit it she would only have hurt friend. Supposing you were with carmabis you would have seen nothing.
You can draw your own conclusions.

Debris, you and I have different beliefs. I do believe entities can harm physically, but I wasn't referring to physical harm with my previous post. I do believe you get inelligent entities. I do know that there comes a point where a person has to be assertive when dealing with bothersome entities otherwise they won't leave you be. This is what I believe. I'm not stating it as fact.

Carmabis, I can understand your choice not lash out. I just can't let go of the thought that it actually allows you to touch it (although accidentally by running into it with your limbs). There are many cleansing methods offered on this site. If you are willing to try them. I hope all works out. Be strong girl!

Shlain ❤

Debris, thank you so much, it really means a lot. I greatly appreciate you, and everyone else's concern and support. I'd really be a mess if I hadn't found this site and gotten this all out.

Shlain, it is funny that you say that. "What would it have done if she kicked it... Etc." because there have been a couple of times where this thing's hand would appear under the covers behind my boyfriend's back and wait for me to run into it, and at that point I was SO fed up, I'd grab it's fingers and literally all I wanted to do was break them. Or once I almost punched it, but didn't cause 1) I didn't want it to turn around and start hurting me, and 2) I knew if I punched it, it would probably just have vanished and let me punch the crap out of my boyfriend's back.

debris - where/how have you acquired your knowledge of "spooks?" You seem to have a lot of information, I was wondering if it was first-hand experience or what?
debris (guest)

11 years ago (2012-12-27)
shlain,
One should never attempt communication unless ones a medium. Even then its dangerous. Never answer back if you hear something calling you. You will be only inviting trouble doing so.
You write this piece of whatever is naughty. Carmabis may beg to differ. Her personality has changed and she is feeling emotionally low. Her family ie. Boy friend and father had arguments. She is also- scared.
I think she finds sicko bothersome. She should not try any kind of contact.
Spooks cannot harm physically. They can only create emotional problems in order to weaken the victims. I think its trying submission tactics on the o/p.
Creating an illusion
Spooks are dumb. Have you seen any spook a university professor lol.
If they are not dumb why do they act in a self destructive manner? They are mean, not brainy. Do you know its possible to burn them up if one starts reading the hanuman chalisa?
Such entities know that by sticking thier skinny necks out too far in the human world they run the risks of getting all burnt up. So you cannot exactly call them intelligent.
If you notice carefully the. Sicko is afraid to stick his head out. He is only hoping to destroy the posters confidence in herself.
Respect to all

Carmabis!

I actually read your story twice! I was wiggin' out reading it until the perve wanted to sneak a peek and not very subtle if I might add! It really made me laugh.

Oh my goodness, it actually had physical interaction with you. I kept thinking 'What would it have done if she kicked or slapped it? What would IT have done in response?!' You are one brave chica! Talking to it is one option, but you don't want it around. Plus, I was told long ago to say hello to see if its willing to respond. My thoughts: 'What if it says hello back?!'

I don't know if this entity could have been the one linked to your boyfriend. It started with knocking until you had the incident with the door (which you backed away from when hearing the growl and might have let it into the house).

I don't think your Tarot Cards or palm readings had anything to do with it. I do believe its a poltergeist. Its a little too mischievous for a normal entity, however I could be wrong.

Try being assertive next time and let it know you're not appreciating its nonsense and that it needs to behave or hit the road.

I'm quite intrigued by the rice technique. Toss some rice and let them get lost in counting it. I don't believe their idiots though. That would be a mistake thinking so.

Thank you for sharing and I'll be looking out for updates.

PS: *puff* *puff* if you know what I mean 😉

Dear Carmabis
After reading your last post I'm deeply moved. I can also say the same about the other reader, I think. To be uncomfortable in ones own home. I do praise your patience.
But keep your spirits up. There so many people here who are concerned about you and they are standing by you.
You write very well. You have penned the account beautifully.

Also, Debris, I don't think this sicko even hides during the day! I have had physical encounters with it in the light of day. Remember the incident where it was blocking me from closing the door? Or the hand that I felt through the blanket? All happened around the middle of the day. I feel like it's around at all times, and resides mainly in the bedroom, though that doesn't stop it from taking trips with me to the back porch. Or even to different houses. There are two different feelings to the room. There's one, it's this vibe in the room that you're not alone. My intuition kicks in without me even realizing and I'll look over near the door or the bed and not see anything, but know it's there. It's whenever the room feels like this that I'm likely to get grabbed or touched. It's like the thing is present and tangible (when it wants to be), only invisible to my eyes. The other feeling is whenever this thing is just hanging around, not messing with me. When it's like this, the thing sticks to the ceiling. Don't know why, I just know that's where it is. Probably just waiting for the perfect moment to pull something.

[at] Carmabis & debris, if you think the smell/smoke of marijuana will keep the bad spirits away, you do not need the 'real deal' for that ~ believe it or not, you get incense with that aroma.

Hope this helps?

Please think twice before giving me a -.
I was not joking when I suggested the iron bangle. It maybe the single most effective measure.

Debris- thank you so much for all of the advice! I will definitely try some of those preventative measures! Thank you again! Sorry about the squirrel thing, btw.

Kryodrache- Colorado, US has legalized the recreational use of marijuana to persons over the age of 21. They wouldn't need a medical marijuana card to obtain medical marijuana from any dispensaries, they could legally carry up to two ounces on their person and grow up to six plants. I also think the same applies to Washington. Although, yes, it is illegal in most states, that doesn't stop anyone and it's really not hard to get your hands on here. Although that is an interesting preventative alternative, I probably won't be trying it out seeing as how it is still illegal here in Texas.

Unfortunately 'cannabis' is not something you can easily get. The plant genus 'cannabis' includes two species; hemp, and marijuana. Both of which are currently illegal in the united states, and have to be bought as import from Canada.

Also, I'm curious where the rice idea came from, as I've never heard of it before. I have an intrigued!

dear sufferer
You can do a million things, smudge your place with sage or cannabis or better still with datura aka mad apple a la erowid.
Wet your bed a little as the jerks are afraid of water, also afraid of salt, yellow mustard seeds (can be worn in an amulet).
These idiots are so dumb that they can be done in by some rice scattered around ones bed. They start countin the number of rice strewn, but forget the count and then start counting again. By then its day.
Such items cannot stand loud music and noise so they desert the place asap.
Btw it does not appear like a poltergiest, but more like a crappy emotionally drained bag of pee. The feed on fear and negative emotions. So be positive and laugh a lot.
To be continued...

your boyfriend has a go at the board _opens a portal for psychic entities. The entity taking things for granted now. Or so it seems to be.
Such entities are suspectible to iron and to some extent to copper. Wear a heavy iron bracelet.
Needless to say, go to bed dressed like a knight to battle. Be brave.
Hope this helps.

No offense was taken, Wiz. I didn't mean to sound so brusque! I just wanted to get my point effectively across to you- and francyne, or anyone who might get that notion from my account- that yes, most of my experiences (In this post) seem like they could be debunked with a rational explanation. I know that best, and it's because of that mindset that it's gotten this bad! In the past I found that rational explanation for every odd thing that occurred, and accepted it. I always had that weird feeling like I wasn't alone, or was being watched- but in that rational mindset I'd look up, look around, see no one. And choke that feeling down. Now it's to the point that the only rational explanation is that something is here. Messing with me, testing my patience maybe. I'm here for the guidance, so if you have any tips I'd appreciate it! Lol.:-P Thank you for the well wishes and a happy holiday to you too, Wiz. Thanks for reading.

Hi Wiz, I see how you could get that. That was the point to my writing style. I wanted to convey to people how little seemingly normal occurances has escalated into unexplainable encounters... I have adamantly tried to debunk every occurance. Had it not escalated to such an extent I would believe most of them were normal experiences. However, a hand grabbing my ankle- or a visible set of knuckles protruding from my boyfriends back after I pulled down a blanket neither one of us were lifting up is not normal. Feeling a hand through a blanket though there is no physical body around for it to belong to? These things happened to me, as clear as day. Also no, I see how you could get that from the name 'carmabis' but no, we do not smoke weed. We don't use drugs at all. This is not an account of my simply being paranoid and high.

Hi all interesting story!

I think [at] francyne1031 has got a point that a lot of this story can be debunked even tho the OPs account is true to her. For me the thing is, is that something happens to one person and the next person will have an explaination, in their opinion, of that persons beliefs/ideas/experiences. I'm not sayin that's it not 'true' in the eyes of the OP and I hope that they get the help they need whether it be cleansing or sheilding techniques although maybe that's not the course of action needed, which will lead me to my next question... With a name like carmabis do you and your partner smoke weed?

Peace. Wiz.

A nice recounting of experiences, Carmabis.

I began to grow concerned when your partner began answering back the wall knockings. I've read cases where this form of encouragement will intensify poltergeist activity.

One way might be to ask it politely to leave whenever it is next experienced. I think it has attached itself to your partner, possibly due to the ouija board experience and has been around since and is probably testing your patience.

I think recording a journal is a great idea, to get as much info about its habits and behaviours. Photographs, footage, notes. NOte as much as you can, times of appearance, what it does, you'll probably find it boring but sometimes patterns will emerge from these happenings.

Don't be afraid of a visual appearance, that may help you to understand it more. You might need a good medium for it to start showing itself more.

LK, thank you so much for your kind words! Very reassuring. Do you know where I might find white sage?
My personality has changed. I was really confident and trusting, and was known for being a ray of sunshine. Haha, I've had buddies compare me to that cause I'm always usually in such a good stupor it's contagious and brightens the room. About 1 and a half years back, though, my boyfriend and I went through a really rough patch. There were betrayals and he lost my trust. It was a really dark time. I was depressed, insecure, angry. We fought countless times. It was a long time before I was able to let anything go, we're just now getting to a better happier place in our relationship, but there are still times when I fall back into that insecure dark place.
Him and his parents went through a period of falling outs as my boyfriend and his dad were CONSTANTLY butting heads. His Dad sees only in black and white as a hardcore democrat and mormon, while my boyfriend and I are, I guess liberal. He was raised Mormon and I was raised Roman Catholic, but we don't claim those denominations now. We just have different takes on life, and it causes negative energy in the household. However, things have recently gotten better between him and his dad. They're both going to try the 'letting it go' technique to try and eliminate some of this negative energy.
Could it have gained power through this?
Yes, I don't believe his brother even realized the potential danger he was putting everyone in by opening that door. They were all pretty young at the time, no older that 15, so I don't think he even fully knew what he was getting them into.
I agree with you completely about the tarot cards. If that is how the entity, or whatever this thing got here, I could kick myself. I will try Rook's method and I hope it works.

Newhunter, I personally had never had anything happen to me in the past. My boyfriend said the knocking has been present at every house he's lived in. (He moved out of his parents at 16, and has had at least 4 different houses since) but said it never was this bad. (I.e the touching and grabbing) It could reside in the house, but his parents have never encountered anything. And I've had instances where we left to go visit a friend, and we'd all just be sitting around hanging in his garage. We'd be there for awhile and I'd be situated in my chair for at least an hour, comfortably. Chair had already settled my weight, when suddenly I'd feel tapping on the back of my chair. Exactly like the tapping on my pillow. This started happening around the same time as the dryer door and other little things, and I eventually forgot about it... Until last week we were at my moms visiting my brother. We were sitting in his room in wooden chairs, again, I was settled in for awhile when suddenly tapping on the back of my chair began. My boyfriend heard it and had the most freaked out look on his face. He said it was probably just the chair, but I know better now.

Ill be honest here, I do believe that something may have attached itself to him from the Ouija board experience but I am not sold that is what is currently plaguing you two. You stated "boyfriend of three years and I have recently moved back in with his parents" yet you never mentioned, unless I overlooked it, that there were any issues with activity prior to moving there. I believe that whatever entity this is resides in his parents house. I would imagine if this was something that attached its self to him as a child it would have emerged prior, from my own personal experience, as it seems most spirits take a few months to grow accustomed to a new person.

Carmabis,

Please use Rook's Cleansing/Shielding Method with your boyfriend present? Also, get some white sage and smudge yourself and him. Pray for yourself as well as him to be free of any and all negative energies. I bet as long as the "friend" was staying dormant with your presence, your boyfriend felt some sense of rationality. A sort of safety. Now that it is used to you and messing with you, his torment is back in full swing and he has to worry about you as well.

Has your attitude/personality changed at all, to allow the negative entity to gain power and be able to do such things to you? Like do you find yourself easily saddened, or upset or frightened, where in the past you may have just been bubbly, loving and outgoing? You know, those kinds of people who are a ray of sunshine that just dissolves the sour grapes out of even the Grinch?

His big brother did not think about his little brother he was putting into harm's way while he was messing with the "door" (ouija board). It's a shame. He should have thought about his baby brother and not gone through with it. But, that's my opinion.

I bet if you opened your ears to your boyfriend and let him know you are there for him and open to him and are going to help him heal and get through this, he will open up to you with a whole lot more!

You definitely want to do what you can to stop this before you have children with your boyfriend. The last thing you are going to want is to have your children tormented by this entity.

Don't worry about the "this person is a" label. I think it labeled you a teenager just because Twenty is still labeled as teen, whereas 21 begins adult in definition of old. Or maybe they just have the computer programmed to flatter us women. I am a "young adult", even though I am 36 years old. The guy who owns this website is just a flirt with us ladies.;)
I believe a 5 year old could give an accurate account of being haunted on here, and yet a 50-something could very well mock up a fantasy that makes us all cry "baloney". People should go by your account and offer help in any way, not by the label near your name.

As for the tarot cards. I suppose they could be just like any other divination tool, able to let something come through. Every time you mess with that which you do not know, you are inviting in all sorts of energies and entities. All I know is, you don't see us natives messing with these things, and we don't have to see or touch one of these "divination tools" to know it could let things through! My hubby feels that anything that opens a doorway to the other side is a dangerous thing, no matter how frivolous it might seem to someone else.

So someone might think that tarot cards are harmless, yet when you invite beings into your home to talk to you through them, it is no different than an o board in that sense.

Why I mention my hubby is because his job is to go around and seal doorways, send spirits home, and basically clean up messes that are caused by curiosity/meddling. The part he loves, is to help bring healing and peace to anyone who asks it of him. To pray with them and for them, setting them on the road to a good life full of spiritual guidance and love; that inner peace which feels like sunshine in your soul.

You and your boyfriend are going to be in our prayers as well. Being touched and grabbed is unnerving, to say the least.

LW

You're misunderstanding me. I respected those cards and the rules I knew at the time to the best of my ability. Had I not let my excitement get the best of me I would have done more thorough research and learned the "cardinal" rule and respected it as well. YOU seem to think they were just a deck of cards, I think otherwise. THIS is what I couldn't care for, because frankly either way, I don't think it matters. I was NOT referring to not caring for the cardinal rule. As yes, that is unwise.

And I will ask my boyfriend, see if he comes up with anything.

Well, the first thing is to have him think about what could have triggered his 'little friend.' Did he do anything that could have had inadverdant consequences? I am not convinced of the ouija board incident as a trigger. As for "not caring" about rules involved in things, that isn't very wise.

Rosemay, no worries. I did learn how to use them though, actually. Just not as thoroughly as I should have. I slept with them in a silk scarf near my heart for a week, looked up all the ways to lay out the cards, the interpretations. I got accurate readings too, when asking them questions. However like I've been saying, I didn't do my research as thoroughly as I should have, so I can't say for sure if I know the 'cardinal' rule. I don't really care either way though. If they were just a deck of cards, awesome. If not, I thank them for their guidance, cause there were times they helped me out.

Any ideas on how he should go about finding out? And I do no plan on it, as I don't think it's normal either. Recent events back that theory. Will post them when I can.

Sounds like you didn't really learn them. In which case, they were merely a deck of pretty cards. The only danger in Tarot is forgetting the cardinal rule (did you learn that one?). This seems to have started with your boyfriend and he needs to find out why. I don't feel as if this is a "normal" spirit. Do not call it out. Ever.

Rosemay, we didn't know that though. We still aren't even sure. For all we know it COULD have been the tarot cards since lying dormant for all we know. I never knew how to close the readings properly until recently. So I could have opened a portal long ago and left it open all these years. Seriously, who knows how this thing got here.

Francyne- that's what I thought too, at first. Until all of the touching started. I was never sleepy while it was going on, and BELIEVE me, I spent the first few weeks of the touches under the covers adamantly trying to debunk it for me just running into my boyfriend, but there were too many instances that I could not. Like the day I felt the shin resting an inch away from mine on my side of the bed. I literally lifted my feet OVER it towards my boyfriends side (we have a big bed) of the bed and felt his shins. They were not anywhere close to the one I just felt and his legs were positioned differently. I wrote odd things off as normal until the touching started. Then I did research and read some other folks accounts on this website and realized I probably have a poltergeist. (Flashes of light, odd animal behavior, even kncoking!) I forgot to mention the day I brought this really sensitive whisper amplifier home from work, I haven't gotten a chance to do any investigating with it, but my boyfriend did one day while I was at work. He said he was playing with it in our bedroom, had all the fans off, had the t.v off, even for good measure he held his breath and plugged his nose, so everything would be silent. After he did this he said he heard really really heavy breathing coming from over him. He said he tapped the back of the thing to make sure it was working and it was, but it wasn't him breathing. I've had more happen, I am just waiting to be able to submit the story. I have a picture I think everyone should see.
