Arwen: Rest assured, you're not alone 😊. The familiarity has struck a chord with several of us.

THANKYOU FOR ALL YOUR KIND COMMENTS EVERYONE,

Now to answer some more...

Argette,
I still wonder myself why they are there. We have no idea who they are all of the children who lived in the house before us were still alive at the time we bought the house and were still when it was sold. One since passed away but that was a girl in 2001. Boy's are a mystery. As much as what they were doing there.

Arwen1957,
Could be that we did know each other in a past life. I have had a few and know most of them as I have done some work in finding out who I was in those times. Maybe we were related or close friends or something. You never know. Or maybe you knew my older and now late family in a past life. Anyway, thanks for reading.

Seano,
You could be right, but I don't know all I know is that all male children once residing in the house before us are currently still living as of March this year. As far as I know none of the boys served in Vietnam, but I haven't asked as it is a personal thing.
You maybe on to something there. Thanks for liking the story.

Kindness is the Brightest Light (June Carter-Cash),
JACQUIE.

Don't know why, but I'm picturing two boys maybe thinking about or being told to get ready for v,nam, just picture them round an old red pickup under the bonnet in dirty overalls looking uneasy and not sure they know what they're doing. Seano

Something about either your story or you strikes a cord with me. Why I am not sure. It is if we new each other in another life or something. Very odd. I usually don't feel a connection like this. Just reading your posts gives me a feeling of something like this happened before

The part about the boys working on a project in the basement got to me for some reason. It's such a specific instance. You have to wonder why this particular project has lingered, or is repeating itself.

Anyway, great story: Thanks for sharing!

johnnycashmuse - I was sure there was some explanation like that.

Miracles.
What I ment was that our 4 Legged Schultz was very smart unlike the character on Hogan's Heros who was very gullible and slapstick. But we call the dog Hogan as our next door neighbour called her dog that as she was a fan of the show too. Hogan arrived at the next door 2 weeks before we got Schultz. Our dog Schultz was daft as, as a pup... And kind of lived up to his name up until he turned 1 and went to obedience classes.

johnnycashmuse - you said Schultz was a German Shepherd, yet wasn't quite as dumb as Sgt. Schultz from Hogan's Heroes. I realize everyone has a different sense of humor, so I'm assuming you were joking since German Shepherds are the 3rd smartest breed of dog (http://petrix.com/dogint/intelligence.html)

By the way, Hogan's Heroes was one of my favorite shows too. I remember watching it with my grandpa and uncle.

Pebbles Keeper,
Despite the ghost not liking Schultz, it was a nice house. Lots of good memories. Most of the other ghosts were ok though, especially the old garage guy. He seemed protective of the house and made you feel safe when you saw him around, he had good energy.

Thanks for reading.
JACQUIE.

PS. For those of you who may be wondering Schultz was mamed after a vharacter in my dad's Fav. TV show then called HOGAN'S HERO'S... Though our Schultz wasn't quite that dumb.

Hi Jaquie
Really enjoyed reading your story.
Mainly the ghosts do seem residual apart from the one who slammed the door in poor Schultz's face.
It does sound like a lovely house... Hauntings and all.
Best wishes. X

The Dark Knight,
For privacy reasons I cannot and will not give out the location, I only know its currently for sale. Maybe you can find on a Real Estate website. Unless its up on private sale. Got friends who live in your area. Its a,azing how sometimes you meet people online that are practically your neighbours.

BadJuuJuu,
I agree, Id never give out actual localtion details.
I don't need that kind of hassle. All I know is that the house is again up for sale.

Miracles51031,
Exactly what I thought. This is why your the MOD (well one of them). I would never give out an address with out permission of the current owners and only then If I knew the person very well.

SwimsInFire,
Thankyou or enjoying the story. I too always wondered who the boys were and why they haunt the place. Couldn't find out as no one remembered any teens having lived there since the first family were there and both of them are still living adult men now.

Valkricry,
Yeah poor Schultz never was quite the same after his run in with the door. He and Danny never ran around the house at least the hall and rooms part again after that. And Schultz was real cautious around doorways in general for the rest of his life. (He died of old age in 1990 at nearly 15).
I think too most were residual spirits. The one that hurt Schultz I think was probably the first owners elderly Mom who lived with them for 2yrs and the Music room was her Bedroom. If it wasn't her I'm not sure but I don't think it was a demon or a bad spirit neccessarily as we had no other problems from it. And I think we would have if it was a bad one. And I agree a lot of the time people are too quick to judge or label what they are dealing with. When it could be that whatever their dealing with is only upset at that time for whatever reason and isn't bad at all.

THANKS FOR READING EVERYONE.
JACQUIE.

Well, for the most part, I'd say most of the ghosties sound residual. Except for whom-ever slammed that door. Poor Schultz!
I think many people are still unnerved by what they can't explain and are quick to label any entity a 'demon'. The heck with investigating what they saw, or that it did nothing but 'watch', or simply walk through. It's there, so they're gone! They let their ignorance and fear rule, instead of being logical. Which is really pretty sad. On the other hand, sometimes 'extra people' pick whom they want to stay. 😉

So anyway, back to the story. That was a really fun read, and concise. Wonder what the history is about the teenagers is. Thankyou for sharing it.

Miracles- I agree one hundred percent of what your saying. I was just curious about what part of Nashville this house would be. I used to be a Manager at FedEx and was over most of Nashville and surrounding cities. Therefore I know most of the areas fairly well, however I had no interest to show up at the house or let alone ride by it.

The_Dark_Knight - I guess the only advice I can give you, and everyone else, would be make sure you know that what you are being told is actual fact. Sometimes stories are submitted that are just that... Stories that are told for entertainment purposes. Unfortunately we have a lot of them on here and there almost no way for members to tell the difference sometimes between fact and fiction.

So, when someone asks for a specific vicinity of a haunted house and are given that information, it can create a lot of hassle and unwarranted attention to people who don't deserve it. I'm sure you understand what BadJuuJuu and I mean 😊

Juujuu I was asking for a vicinity not a address. Sorry I should have been more clear and of course the current owners deserve their privacy.

Giving out specifics on a house's location isn't a good idea, as any current owners deserve their privacy.

Hi there nice story, I wonder what your dog's were chasing hopefully nothing too bad. I'm from Nashville and very curious where this house is located? I'm new to this site so I hope that it's okay to ask about the location. I saw that you now live in Hendersonville, that's very cool I also have lived there and now I live in White House area. Small world:)
