Tweed,
I'm not sure, but I think if her desire was strong enough she would have found a way to reach me. Others have. However, perhaps being in that meditative state made it easier. A right time, right place situation. I don't really know. BUT - I do know I can willfully create those spheres now. 😆
Actually, L is handling her passing quite well. I think part of this is because they've been separated for awhile (he doesn't constantly expect to see her). Part could be because he and I have talked a lot about the other-side, and how sometimes death is actually a blessing for that person. (I had sensed her time was coming for quite awhile, and had tried to prepare him without coming out and saying it.)
I did have rather strong words with his biological mother over it though... Seriously there is something really NOT right with that woman. Long story short - After hearing from her how Grandma is 'responsible' for her drug and alcohol addictions, and how Grandma 'poisoned' L against her, etc. (Right - her flitting in and out of his life since birth, with gaps of years, then wanting to be 'mommy' when she decides it's convenient, has nothing to do with his mistrust of her.) Her reaction to Grandma's death was 100% drama queen - Oh. My. God. What will I do without my mother hysterics. That, I could deal with. Everyone handles death in their own way (even if you haven't had a civil conversation in 20+ years) but when she told L, he didn't know 'how to feel', and 'didn't care' because he was trying to hold it together, I sort of lost it a bit. I believe I told her in no uncertain terms that it had better be the grief talking, and something along the lines of her being no kind of mother to be so blind to his pain and just because he wasn't making a spectacle of himself didn't mean he didn't care. I know there was something about putting on her big girl panties as well. 😕 Her reaction was to look at me and say "You think I'm being a spectacle?" WTH?
*SMH*
Whew! Guess, I still have some issues to work through with that one! Lol Sorry about that.

Thank you, Miracles and Rook for confirming what I suspicioned.
I suspect that bridge is one I'll travel when the time is right. I like to think the valley is just a tiny taste of what lies on the other side of it.

val.

This one went directly into my fav's.

The Astral Plane... Spirit Realm... Call it what you will is a curious place. You first saw things that are a comfort to you, then you saw the bridge... One you never see the end of... Then the woman on it... A woman who thanks you and asks you to keep taking care of her 'son'.

Everyone sees the 'crossing'...'crossraods'...narrow path... Call it what you will, differently... The fact you can not see the end 'bodes' well for you... (can you guess where that bridge leads?) The fact she 'reached out' from here shows how important her message was...

Thank you for sharing this experience.

Respectfully,

Rook

Oh Val, goodness gracious, your experiences always leave me speechless.
I'm so happy she found you in that moment and you were meditating at just the right time. Which is astonishing in itself.

Wish you and L all the best through this. ❤

I agree this deserves to be a story. 😊

val - what an amazing, although sad, experience. At first when you mentioned seeing the woman, I was a little concerned but my fears were eased when I realized who she was.

I know you weren't looking for a pat on the back for taking in/care of her grandson; however, I think it was absolutely wonderful that she made it a point to thank you.

And I agree that this experience deserved a story of its own ❤
