Valkricry- This was an awesome story, really reassures me that animals do have souls too... I am glad that Mr. Creepy the creep was scared off by them... Thank you for this story ❤

Steampunk,
Thanks for reading and commenting! There's been several times in my life where animals played a pivotal part, and I'm fairly sure without them things would have played out differently. My father always claimed I anthropomorphize animals too much, but I don't think so. Some make better friends than people do.

Loved your story Val and glad it turned out OK in the end! Dogs have always been my passion and do always seem to know when you're sick or sad or worried ect! I guess this pair were a little more than dogs though! PS... I also love dolphins (and other whales) and pigs and horses and donkeys ect--ect--ect... 😉

Loved your story, what a trip and you were not only watched over by guardians in the park, but when she took a swipe at you too, skitso's can be very intent on their subject once they get a notion in their head... I'm glad you were ok and had some good memories to take home with you to dilute the frightening ones!

val,

Loved your story. Help can come out of the oddest places at the oddest times as I discovered after I was hit by a car in the street. Laying in the gutter, unable to move, as my leg was basically mangled, the first face I saw was an off duty paramedic that was waiting for his wife in his car just 50 ft away.

It still makes me think wether it was angelic intervention or was it pre ordained, part of my life path, karma so to speak.

Thanks for sharing 😊

Red,
Well, since I'd only been there 3 days, the only place that was semi-familiar to me was the park. He just began looking for me in places nearby that he thought I might go, luckily the park was the closest and therefore first.
I'll swing by your story! 😊

lady-glow,
Awww, thanks! I do have some fond memories of that trip. My brother knew the driver of one of the trolleys fairly well (introduced us, even) when learning I was from Chicago he did the Rice A Roni bell tune! Also, I got to see Alcatraz. The prison was closed, but I did see the island - depressing place. Then there was Fisherman's Wharf as well as China Town. We crammed a lot into the 3 days I managed to stay.

How did your brother know where to look for you? If it were me I would have gotten as far away from that house as I could. You were very lucky you didn't get cut. You were also lucky that those dogs were guarding (guardians) you.

BTW
I finally was able to answer you and Biblio on my Engagement Ring story. My tablet is a few years old and is easily manipulated. It was like one of the dead dads as Biblio has come to think of them was reading over my shoulder and would flip my tablet off, go to a new story, or eat my response. I'm using my computer so it doesn't do that.
Regards
Red

Dear RC and Wish_Not,
Saddly just a few years later Violet ended up institutionalized - by court order after she attempted to murder my brother. I'm not sure of the details as some things are just not discussed with a 14 year old, but I do know he nearly died from her attack, which led to her arrest.
I'm not sure if the dogs were 'ghostly' either, RC. I'm just happy they decided to 'claim' me when Mr. Creepy showed up.

Val- Yet another treasure, I do enjoy your adventures. Bet you didn't enjoy this while it was happening. Must have been something for a 14 year old to experience at the time.

As RCRuskin mentioned, I hope your sister in law got back in line with her meds.

Looking forward to your next.

First off: Yikes! Has your sister in law gotten back on her meds by now, I hope?

I don't know if the dogs were "ghostly" but I do believe they were sent by someone helpful.
