Mods This is not about D's death or my mother in-law. It is about a phone scam I feel I should share.

This morning I got a phone call saying that I was a subject of a lawsuit because I owe the I.R.S. $9,800 dollars and I was going to be arrested by a sheriff in 45 minutes. I asked to talk to the supervisor. Let me just say they both had thick Indian accents. He told me that unless I could assure that I would pay the money within 45 minutes I would be arrested. I was also told that if I called anyone else I would be arrested. I was told my phone was tapped. I had been asleep and the phone woke me up so I was foggy. I was crying and asked to talk to someone in America because I know scammers from another country can make it seem like it's a call coming from within the states,it's happened to me before but it was a different scam and I didn't fall for it.

I told them I was disabled and I needed to get dressed. The man told me not to hang up and leave the line open. He also asked for my cell phone # and I stupidly gave it to him. My daughter went on the computer to look this Caller I.D. Up. I had put the phone on the table and my daughter yelled loudly mom it's a scam and showed me that it was a spam call and there was a skull and cross bones on the page. My daughter and I went over to the phone and there was nothing but a busy signal. We called the number back and there was nothing but a busy signal. They ask for under $10,000 so if they ARE in the States they don't have to report it on their taxes.

The name on the caller I.D. Was PHIZER I know I can't put up the full number so I will put up the area code x out the first 3 numbers and put up the last 4 so that if anyone that lives in Ohio, New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania gets this phone call either don't answer or if another name and number pops up because I heard A LOT of other people talking in the back ground. HANG UP if you are threatened with arrest within 45 minutes. The number is 973-XXX-4150

Miracles and granny I'm sorry this is so long but I felt I needed to put up this caution on my story.

Regards
Red

I'm sorry to hear about your beloved Sophie. I have a itty bitty Pitty who will be 12 next month and a Newfoundland Hound/BoarderCollie mix that will be 10 also next month. Both pretty old for their breeds.

Thank you for the prayers. I have the gum, and the vapor cigarette. I had gotten the Chantrix last year but one of the first warnings is it's a stomach irritant and because of that I can't use it. My daughter has the patch but I would rather she use those to quit.
Thanks again

Red,
If you truly want to quit, you will. But you really need to want to. (I hope that made some sort of sense.)
Yep, still have the occasional 'visitor', but nothing really account worthy. More in the WTH vein.
I'll say some extra special prayers for you.

val,
I have good days and some not so good days. I still have not been able to quit smoking, but I do have a target date to quit. I'm not going to tell anyone what day that is so if I mess up no harm, no foul.

How have you been doing? Any more uninvited ghosties?

I'm sorry I can be a ditz sometimes. Yes she needed 2 pints of blood the night she was admitted. They did an Endoscopy and found a few small polyps but they were benign. They did a colonoscopy and that was fine so the Gastroenterologist was blaming her Cardiologist but because nobody could find what was wrong there was a lot of finger pointing. They never came up with a definitive

I also had been gone away with my husband Friday,Saturday,we came home Sunday and Friday night my Newfie mix and the puppy who is a Giant Malamute got into a fight over food. My daughter couldn't get away and the Newfie mix accidentally bit my daughter on the thigh. She called me and told me so I asked her what I was supposed to do, I was 300 miles away so go to the hospital.
My daughter gets overly dramatic, yes the bite was pretty bad but she kept calling me and texting me so I had to turn my phone off. She even called me before she got bit crying because she missed us, she is 30 years old.

Tweed- your quite welcome. Love to spread the joy ๐Ÿ˜†and happiness ๐Ÿ˜. That laughter is good medicine. ๐Ÿ˜†

Well it looks like I've reached my limit, sigh,...

Red, I believe we, humans, are animals who've forgotten we're animals. Of course all living beings are ghosts underneath it all. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I guess that over crowdedness you describe would be from all the spirits unwittingly consuming energy from the environment, and some of yours. I don't have a theory on spirits and energy but I've noticed I can get drained with a lot of ghostly activity. Lately I've gotten back into crystals and found amethyst crystals make a HUGE difference (I have a few but only use one and it's pebble size, they pack a punch) Also black obsidian is great for soaking up negative energy (even good people, living or dead, can have bad days). B/obsidian can get a bit freaky in the wrong hands apparently, but I've not had any problems with it.

I don't know if you're into crystals and such, but thought I'd mention it anyway. It sounds like you're the one people turn to and that can get way draining.

I'm sure your FIL is there for you. He probably means for you to see him briefly too lol. I pick up when ghosts are hanging around in the (it's spelled) 'ether or aether'*, and usually a few days later I catch a glimpse of them. I also get the feeling your FIL desperately wants you to either 'cheer up' or change your perspective on things. The way he mucks around in your house reminds me of someone trying to cheer someone up. I also get the impression him doing this annoys you! ๐Ÿ˜†

*Sorry to turn into a total Biblio, I wasn't sure if you were asking how to spell the word or not! ๐Ÿ˜† Where is Biblio anyway? Seems to have vanished or something.

WishNot, I hope you read this, that 'sir' you left was not lost on me and I burst out laughing, thanks!

RedWolf - did your mother-in-law have a blood transfusion? You kind of left us hanging ๐Ÿ˜•

Tweed.
Thank you. I agree that losing an animal is the same as the loss of a person. They do have souls after all right? After my youngest was born I was told I could not have any more kids. So for years I freely admit that dogs filled that void. Now I have dogs because purely out of my love for them.

My MIL is doing fine now, or so she claims. She has a stent and a pacemaker for about 6 years. Yes it seems like my FIL is around a lot but more for me than for my MIL. I asked Rook if he could be hanging around in the aether (sp?) in my house because I sometimes catch a glimpse of him and he is such a jokester as soon as he realizes that I am looking at him poof he's gone. I don't think Rook saw that question or he would have answered. My grandfather is around when it comes to my dogs or check on us. There have times such as when Jethro was sick that there are a lot of spirits and I get a headache that starts in the middle of my forehead and spreads out and if people are in the room I have to telepathically ask them to leave.

My husband can drive me the nuts with his belief in only two spirits. I tell him constantly his father and my grandfather are NOT the only spirits around. He looks at me like I'm crazy.

Dear Red,
I've been thinking about you. Is your back feeling any better?
I was a bit confused on your MIL - did she actually need a transfusion? Have they sorted out the matter as to what's wrong?
Loosing a loved pet is no different then having a family member pass on. It HURTS. I'm so sorry you had to experience this again. But maybe D and Jethro are playing together, watching over you and waiting to be with you again.

Dang Red- Wasn't ready for that. I can feel the loss and know we will having to go through it as well. All I could see was holding our beloved Sophie when it is her turn.
So sorry for the loss of D.

I'm in agreement with Tweed (sir), I am a bit confused about your husband. A nonbelieving believer? Funny stuff ๐Ÿ˜Š

Red, I'm so sorry to hear about D. This is probably not a very popular thing to say, but I believe the loss of a pet can be the same as the loss of a person. โค

I'm a bit confused about your mother in-law I hope she's ok. I've noticed your family on the other side seem to visit you when she's having a bad time.

By the way, and on a lighter note, your husband's selective non-believerism is as pathetically baffling as it is amusing! ๐Ÿ˜†

Yes I am very lucky I'm not alone. My grandfather was a dog lover and I have felt him with me several times when I had to put a dog down.

I did not want my son to be in the room but he loved D and told me he promised the dog he would be with him in the end. We had a good cry over his passing and when I felt the warmth on my back I knew it was my grandfather trying to comfort me before taking D home.

My husband told me that he could have sworn he saw D in the backyard one day. I told him he probably did. He's a nonbeliever BUT he believes his father is around and my grandfather comes and goes. ๐Ÿ˜•

Tissue warning! ๐Ÿ˜ญ
It's a good thing you're not alone to face such a painful and heartbreaking task.

I'm sure D is happy and healthy now, and still watching over you.

Thanks for sharing.
