Hi Bellissima. I know the history of the place for as long as it`s been in "my family".{ Maybe I should take this time to clarify a few things. I had two sets of parents, I lived with my natural parents from birth(1954) until I was six years old(1960).They divorced and neither one of them wanted the responsibility of caring for us younger children, so in early 1961 we was placed with our aunt and uncle and soon they became Mom and Dad.I`m telling everyone this so you will know, while reading my stories, if something happened before 1961, I`m talking about different people(like in Prudential). }

I know there used to be a house that sat about 150 to 200 feet from where our house sat, making where our house sat either its yard or maybe a field. When my uncle`s dad bought the place (about 1930) the other house was falling in. There was also another house that sat up in the deadening and both families shared the same barn. When we torn the old barn down about thirty years ago we found a log that had 1875 carved into it. You see that old farm had quite a history, some of it may never be uncovered but I`m working on it.

In a way, I am glad that I didn`t turn over and talk face to face with it. Can you imagine how hard it would be to explain how come your bed was that "messy" 😆

I am working currently working on a few more stories and I hope to have them finished by the first of the year. I am glad that you and others like my stories. I promise everyone that I may include a bit of humor to make them more readable but I will NEVER embellish them.

FRAWIN ❤

Hi FRAWIN. That was definitely a freaky experience! Had there been a lot of other experiences in that house, other than what you mentioned in your room? Did you ever find anything about the history of the house? It sounds like something attached to the house. If it was the same sort of things happening, maybe it was a residual haunting. I'm glad there weren't any threatening experiences, well, it doesn't sound like they were threatening at all. I think it's kind of cool that you didn't realize the situation until the next day because you got to experience the whole thing without feeling panic at what you knew couldn't be happening. The scene played out and nothing terrible happened, that should show that the footsteps and such that went on after this experience were innocent events. I think that if you would have turned around you would have just seen a figure or probably nothing at all. Even if you did see it you still might not have realized it wasn't your brother. Thanks for sharing your story, I really enjoyed it. Your stories are always great and I always look for more from you.

That makes perfect sense, FRAWIN. I am always curious as to what something is if I do not immediately know the answer. Knowing the answers does not happen often, mind you. 😆 A low deep voice would just freak me out, especially after I found out it was not my brother. Thanks again.

Thank you Shandi, I`m glad you liked it. I guess what made it so frightening is that I didn`t realize that I was being visited until it was all over with.
Whitebuffalo: I guess that I have an inquiring mind, even though I really don`t want to know, a part of me has to know. Does that make sense? As far as this being the only time, it wasn`t. Quite often at night you could hear the stairdoor open and someone(?) walk up the stairs, across the floor and stop close to your bed. Fortunately (for me) that this was the only time it turned the light on and talked to me. We got used to the footfalls and didn`t pay them no mind. I guess a person can get used to about anything, if you have to-and we had to.

OMG FRAWIN, I do not think I would WANT to know what that was. I do wonder if that was the only time this ever happened, or if this was just the first one you noticed. I mean to say I would HATE to think this happened two or three times a week but that you had just slept through it. Wow. Thank you.

This has been one of my favorite storys so far. I also wonder what you would have seen had you turned over.
