The age categories are pretty broad, I didn't want to be overly specific for privacy reasons:

20 or less = teenager
20 - 40 = young adult
40 - 60 = middle age adult
60 or more = senior adult

Sorry to hear that, Zzsgranny, as I know how painful shoulder issues are. It would be fascinating if your suggestion were indeed the case.

Points taken.

Okay, before we all climb aboard the Miss Demeanor, let's step back and think about this. Personally, I think this may be a family member of Warblaze. If not, then I'll toss this into mix: it's possible that more than one family lived in that home over the years, right? I think it would be pretty cool if the same things were experienced by different people without personally knowing the other.

Then again, Warblaze does mention cousins in his stories and their family dynamic matches that of this OP.

Now, what I've just done is something we all know we shouldn't do and that is: feeding information to the OP. Sometimes it's best to go about questioning the OP and seeing what answers we get before we reveal our hand. E-mail is a wonderful thing haha 😆

Sorry if my writing skills seem off. I'm on some pretty heavy pain medication for a sore shoulder.

I'll bring taco fixings. Maybe walking tacos for easy cleanup.

Wow I looked up Warblaze; read some of that story Mommy Ego, that is so wrong to take someone else's story like that. Sad. 😢

Even without similar names, I wouldn't believe it. Too convoluted. Most occurrences are fairly simple. The more complex the story, the more it feels like fiction, or in this case, "inspired by" another account.

rook - that's why granny and I were asking for more details, especially about the names. Hopefully Anny will provide some clarification. Too many stories about Mommy Ego for it to be a coincidence.

Rook--Hopefully you have a fully stocked bar on the bus because after reading Anny82's long winded load of codswallop (gotta love that word) only a couple of double scotches will do!

Actually, "The Witch of Codswallop", would be a more appropriate title for Anny's story 😆.

Ah, cookie tins, good no broken mess to clean up.

Mack...the Bus is equipped with solar panels and multiple recharging stations throughout it's length on both levels you should have no problem finding one.

Puff.

Good work Rook!

When you arrive, if you can't see anyone through the murky haze of fiction, look for the multiple flashing lights of the activated B.S detectors to guide you to the waiting group.

That reminds me, has the bus got a USB port so I can charge mine? It's been flashing a lot lately...

Puff: Jon Santa is heading to the bus bringing along an assortment of cookies an eclairs... Don't worry, I'm not using the multi-glued-together cookie jar from this story.

No seating on the fence for this one... Get that bus ready!

Good work, Rook!

Now the OP will slink away into the mist.

Why do people pull this nonsense?

By the Pricking of my Thumbs...

I knew this sounded Familiar. Me thinks someone has been honing their skills...

Mommy Ego

By Warblaze
(6 stories) (21 posts) (the author is a young adult)
Date: 2008-03-31
Country: United States
State: Texas
Paranormal Category: A Haunted Life

They even mention a carcass...

From 'Mommy Ego'

"It was a dead lamb, well the skeleton of one anyway..."

And from The Witch of Dittmar...

"Now I was really feeling scared but I had to know one more thing. "So if Mommy Ego doesn't live here where does she live?" I said. "Chuck said she lives in the woods by the creek near the dead goat skeleton."

My only question is this... Is someone... Or perhaps more than one individual... Trying to start their own version of ZOZO or Slender man for the ATX area?

By the way I live about 30-45 minutes from the area of Austin described in each of these published stories. 😉

Respectfully,

Rook

lady-glow - once upon a time Martin cleared up the categories for us but I honestly cannot remember what ages go in what group. I'll see if I can find it.

Macknorton: the site considers anyone up to the age of 40 to be a young adult, I'm not so sure if it goes from 18 to 40, or if it is 19 to 40 YO. Surely one of the mods can tell us the specifics.

Ha ha about the toothbrush! I wonder if a gum massage would be equally effective?! 😆

Mack - the category YGS has placed her in is correct for someone around 35 years old. I don't make the rules, or age guidelines 😉 but the age categories always spark curiosity LOL

I'd put those cookies into a cookie tin personally, but that's just me. Maybe Mom had a lot of spare glue and nothing else to do with her time?

Anny - ONE particular aspect that confused me was if this occurred 19 - 25 years ago, and you were 7 years older than your young brother who was 3, that makes you possibly now around 35, but your profile states you are a "young adult". I'm not 100% on how this site groups people by age, but I would have thought a young adult is 20-25?

To be honest, I was racking my brains about what advice, or help I could offer you, then remembered one tried and tested method from an earlier submission that may have helped, but unfortunately this witch didn't have any teeth so...

Regards

Mack

This feels like fiction: Complex, long, dramatic...

BTW, That must be some cookie jar.

Anny82: Also, to continue with Miracles line, did you have a dog named Lucky?

Uh...? How many times is it possible to glue a cookie jar together before deciding it is garbage?

"A cookie jar kept falling off the shelf and breaking and my mom would glue it back together, then find it broken again the next day or two..." 😐

Anny - I have to ask you this. Do you have family named Amy, Vivian, Nancy, Bubba or Mike?
