Well, I saw it. At first I thought I saw little white things on your head. (I actually thought it was your hair! 😆 Sorry!) But then I follow it and saw the face and the arm. Thats soooooo creepy.

Personally, to me, all the grass behind you in this photograph is a little blurry and looks "swirled..." I see this effect covering ALL of the grass behind you. I also see a similar effect on the top, left side of your head. While I DO indeed see something there, I cannot separate this "pattern" from the similar patterns in the grass. I just can't tell. While I'm not convinced it's a faerie, I'm not convinced it isn't, either!

Thanks SO, SO much for taking the time to post a photograph. If more people could accurately document their experiences as such, perhaps we could advance this "science" more readily.

Ireland huh? How did you like it out here? I took a look at the pic for a good ten minutes or so and still can't decide on what it is exactly. 😕

i clicked and enlarged the photo, it looked like a big lizard on your head but couldn't see its face well... Maybe it's one of the fairies' pets...

thanks for sharing your story and photo... Maybe we should all be careful taking pictures in mysterious places... Maybe those entities don't want that... But as long as you didn't get sick after, that's fine but be careful next time.

I can see it, but it just looks like a coincidental hair curl to me. 😕
Oh well.

To Rhodes and Kim, for the record, here's what happened at the site: You have to climb over a stile to get into the Ring. I climbed over, and started walking along the top of the Ring, which I found out shortly was a mistake. The path was narrow and rocky, and I'm not all that surefooted these days (plus I was wearing the wrong shoes for this kind of activity). I reached a point where I was too fearful of losing my balance and falling, and I froze right where I was. My friend didn't come into the Ring with me, but was still standing near the stile chatting with some other people. I called out to her to come and help me, which she finally did. She chided me good-naturedly for getting on the wrong path. Then we walked around the site together, taking a few pictures as we walked. At this point I was feeling just a little silly for getting myself into that earlier predicament, and relieved that I didn't fall before I was "rescued..." I was at the same time admiring the beauty of the site, and thinking of the Faery stories my late Irish boyfriend used to tell me. Then my friend suggested taking my picture in the Ring, and pointed to a spot that she thought would be nice for the picture. I handed her my camera, walked over to the spot, and sat down. She took the picture. Then we decided to leave, for no other reason than we had other things we wanted to see that day. We walked back to the stile, climbed out of the Ring, got back in the car, and continued on our way...

I looked at the picture before reading the article as to not have any preconceptions of what I was supposed to possibly see.
On the gaelic calander ANAGANTIO preceeds the month of this post, the fairy rings are symbolic and in ancient context seen a resurrection or renewal, awakening.
Photo's are a dubious source of reference, it was obvious however oh the right side on top of your head an energy of mischief yet splendor, it's a very interesting picture and exciting.
Assume it was a digital camera, Thermal Imaging Scope and scanner combined with infra red, a 35mmSLR single reflex lenses is best shot at 800 shutter speed on a tripod, maybe some dowsing rods hehe, are useful tools that allow more credibility and analysis of the photo's.
Anyhow I digress however I enjoyed the photo very much.

JerseyGirl,
I do see a shadow on your head, but that is about all I can make out.

I would echo rhodes question. What were the feelings ou had while sitting in this ring taking this pisture? I have heard many tales reagrding Faerys ranging from good to bad, wonderful to evil, just as one does many other things.

I am anxious to know what yours nad your friends feelings were at this site during this time.

God Bless!

Hi JerseyGirl and thanks for sharing your experience with us.

I'm afraid, despite my efforts, I couldn't see what you see. I'll make a suggestion though: what's more important is what YOU felt while visiting the site. I remember reading that the photo was kind of a surprise to you. Does this mean you didn't feel anything out of the ordinary while being there? What if you try to recall the experience while focusing on your feelings? I know that this picture might influence your judgement now but still if you could isolate the "expectations" and simply try to picture yourself being back there again?

Very interesting, but I'm afraid I can't see anything. Maybe others will have better luck then me.

Sorry.
