HellisReality,
I enjoyed your story but laughed after discovering that a few internet posts got the better of you.

Oh and he called it '111' because it would come up in the search first... Clever.

I know you have commented a few times that you didn't want to share why you chose the name 111 for the story, but I'm still curious as I have a personal connection to the number myself. Would you be willing to tell us why you chose that number?

With all respect, this sound too much like some horror movies I have seen, looking down stairs into the dark or into a basement is movie material, but who knows mabe I am wrong 🤔

[at] Lupernikes, no I'm not talking about doors and no we are not talking about something similar. It was completely different.

[at] Hoochler, well here recently I have talked to my mother about it and she said she never saw or felt anything when we were living in that house.

pjob trust me, not entirely if at all fabricated... My experience is when you see something terrifying you cack your pants and freeze. It's called the "deer in the headlights pose" and caused any number of human beings all kinds of problems throughout history...I've felt it and knew I should run or get the heck out but your legs and body turn into stone and you can go nowhere...

ghosthunter, you been in the spirit world. That mean you had a short death experience. If you didn't than your a liar. I don't believe that a healthy human being can go to the spirit world and live to talk about it. I believe in the after life and short death experience, but coming from the words from you I don't believe jack s [at] #t!

But the author also stated that he had the feeling that if he shut the door it would have gotten worse for him. I would like to say I would have shut the door too because I'm a chicken but if I were in that situation, starring at something that has the potential to be extremely evil and it didn't want me to shut the door... Well then out of fear of what might happen if I did shut the door, I think I would of left it open too:) Like other posters have said, it could of been a number of things. I have never had any experience with poltergeists, I know more about demons then anything. I also look forward to part II.

with all due respect, I question the truth of much of this story. Only because, if anyone were standing at the top of the basement looking down, to see a threatening "anything" down there, your first reaction would be to shut the door you're standing next to. I understand people do diff things in such situations, but it is an unthinkable reaction to protect one self.

"Deformed animal shapes, obvious evil demeanor and the odor of feces are all signs of an infernal demon (the classic demon from hell, very powerful and filled with hate)."

Or they could be signs of poltergeist activity or possibly even hallucinations, considering the author was apparently the only witness. In my opinion, demons are the very last option anyone should consider.

Since it did not come after you, it was probably limited somehow in it's scope of actions. I am very interested in reading your part II.

I do have a question though. If you never talked about such things with your family, how do you know they never saw anything? Maybe they saw similar things that you did and also decided not to say anything for the same reasons you did, have you ever considered talking to your family now about this subject?

damn. That's all I can say about that. I think my heart would have jumped out my mouth hearing those steps get closer. I can bet that if you did wake up your mom the sounds would have stopped completley. Its a bit weird though because this thing just looked at you and had ample amount of time to attack you while you were alone so that's something to think about. Keep us posted. Looking forward to reading part 2. Take care

ahhhhh I think I understand the "111" now but I'll keep it to myself until you post the second or subsequent parts.

We're talking doors here aren't we I think?

I've seen one of those I think so; if you'll indulge me please;

I was 11 and was doing a thing all 11 year old boys do with their mates; in my garden we had a brick shed which had a solid wooden door which, if you closed and locked it, made the space within completely dark. The whole thing of seeing who could stay in the pitch darkness longest of course! Well me and my best friend decided to do this but it went not as we expected; after a moment of being in the dark we both noticed it; there was a red "mist" forming next to us, which took the form first of a whisp, just like smoke but red and lit up; then it started forming into a ring-shaped thing, flattening and filling in to a disk. Of course we panicked and struggled to get out. They key was stuck fast in the lock and would not turn, we both tried and forced it but it was as if something was holding it in place. I chanced to look back and noticed that the disk was shimmering now and developing more colours, purples and oranges... Managing to get calm I asked the door to open and the key turned in my hand easily and we burst out of the shed and ran as far away as we could get!

That house was on top of something though because so many things happened there I'll write some of them up one day!

Are we talking something similar here?

I apologise if we are not:)

Well, it seems to me your are sensitive to the things in the house. My best advice is that you should atleast tell your mother and brother what you saw that night.
My mother and I experiance different things in our home most of the time. I experiance the bad, and she experiances the good and she dosnt believe me with the bad things.

And by the way GhostHunter5555... Things in this world can affect people differently. Never underestimate something you don't understand.

(at) ghosthunter5555 every bodys expiriences and hauntings are diffrent and you should never underestimate the paranormal! (and calling hellisreality demon or spirit a puppy dog is excactly that since you don't know what it can do)

(at) hallisreality I wonder why your brother and mom never saw or heard anything... To me its sounds like your old house had a demon also can't wait until you post part 2

seriously Ghosthunter5555 the thing I have is probably a poltergeist of some sort. I'm sorry that thing "possessed" you but don't insult him like that. The spirit I have actually hurt me. I didn't tell anyone how much it hurt but I felt it did feel like it did not want me there. I'm paraphrasing when I say:If you don't have anything nice to type don't type it at all. 😐 😠

Also, I have seen how a spirit can change form into anything... Far beyond your imagination. I have been there and done that.

[at] GhostHunter5555, I understand that you might be underestimating my experience and that you may think that this thing that has haunted me is a so called puppy dog or a doggie that is not scary and is not that evil, and you may even think this is a joke, but you are completely sadly mistaken.

From some of what I have experienced this thing that has haunted me has been far more of a physical threat to me rather than a puppy dog or a pathetic babysitter that just sits there and watches me all the time while wearing a black hat. Honestly, your experience and what you are telling me does not sound "Scary" or "Evil" to me at all.

You have not experienced what I have experienced, and if you did you would for sure not be talking like that. Since you feel the need to describe your so called "SCARY" story so much, why don't you just go ahead and publish it instead of having the audacity to laugh at or make fun of my story?

[at] Kate no, my mom and my brother have never experienced anything unusual. I don't know why though. I am the only one that has been experiencing these type of things, unfortunately. I have never had a history of paranormal experiences, it just so happened.

Yes, I do believe there was something about that house that just was not right. There were always these weird feelings that I got from the house. But for right now, I'd rather not say why I call my story 111.

I want to keep that a secret for right now. I thank you for taking the time to read my story Kate and I hope to read some of your stories soon.

hmmmm yes I am curious about that too... Is it something to do with events in Norway in 111AD (or CE as they say here in America)? Are you saying it is the manifestation of a dragon or demon of some description.

It sounds more like a transmorphic manifestation of some more ghostly entity, as some have mentioned as it is bound by location, ie cannot pass the threshold of the doors so either it requires inviting in or cannot pass...

Before I make any decisions on that, I'll wait for part 2 though...

Yea why did you cal it 111? But that ghost sounds like a poltergeist in animal form/alien form (lol) I have one and believe me, its scary my one still haunts me, as I'm typing right now, hes watching me. I think I may have a connection with this ghost. He possessed me once and I felt his evil.

I don't talk to him cause hes eviler than that puppy dog you describe "Scary" you will be even more scared if you see HIM. Ill describe him. It is all black (misty to) he disappears when you see him, (I saw him teleport once:) he wears a black hat and just watches you (bot to me, he moves and swirls around me when I'm asleep) and he feeds on my dreams. If you think the dogie is scary, you'l find HIM even Scarier! I'm not finished, he changes form to anything and...
This I actually find the scariest when he comes close to me I shiver but I feel warm, my hairs on my legs and back stand up, and I see him when I'm still in the real world (why did I say "real world"? Cause there's a spirit world to. I've been there but ill talk about it soon:) a little advice if you feel tranced and you stare in one place at the same time and don't move, you will see the colors of the real world are deforming. You should see lots of weird shapes so known as "spirits" around you. 😕 😭 😆

That's a creepy story. I hope you get around to posting the second part soon.

Have your mom or brother ever reported experiencing anything unusual as well? Have you had a history of paranormal experiences or do you think it was just something about the house itself?

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose to call your story 111?
