Whitebuffalo, thank you for sharing this one! I have to admit that I, too, got a little chuckle out of the scene of you jumping around, trying to get the sensor to work on the doors. I have done the exact same thing myself! I actually got chills when I heard you describe the sound of the pool balls smacking together, because I have a pool table in my house and occasionally I have heard that noise too. When I walk in, of course, no one is there and the pool balls are not even ON THE TABLE, they're in the shelf-holder (we have one of the old coin-op ones) and the sticks are on the wall!

I sincerely hope they'll let you post up the video, though I can also understand the legal ramifications of doing so, and why they would be hesitant. The way they described him as having a "tentacle"--TOTALLY creeped me out. I wonder if we have 'astral appendages' in the between-world...or if these are physically manifested extensions of our willpower... Definitely an interesting thought.

And, welcome back, FRAWIN! I LOVED your comment! I got this great mental picture of WB in full Ghostbusters gear... πŸ˜†

Hello Dan.
I have also heard of similar stories concerning animals who seem to have strong premonitions of death. I did a bit of research (any one surprised there?) and discovered that many of the "helping" animals are capable of simply smelling a change in the human companions physical odor. I am not talking about the casual pet, though they can be just as intuitive, but Working Animals.
To me, it is very interesting to see how something we think we own (meaning our pets) COULD, in fact, save our lives if we pay more attention to their actions.
Thank you for enjoying my experiences.

Greetings, Osa.
Thank you so much. May I ask you a question? What do YOU mean by "...entanglement of subtle bodies."? I know you went on to explain a bit, but are you thinking he-- I do not know. Magnet?
I eagerly await your further explanation.
Thank you for throwing your thoughts into the mix, as well. Always a pleasure.

My dear, capricious FRAWIN.
The funniest part of your comment was that Little Man laughingly told me I should carry a water gun in my glove box right next to the salt and sage I keep on hand for emergencies! 😊 In fact, EVERY time we go to Walmart (getting chills just thinking about THOSE experiences) he heads straight for the water toys and points out which ones give "more distance".
To the everyday shopper (and many of them walk by smiling at him) it just looks like he is shopping for the best summer toy. Would it NOT shock people if I were to explain he was looking for something to tote Holy Water about in!
Hmmm. I wonder what Father would do if I DID show up with a double barreled, semi automatic, double pump action, over the roof shooting Super Soaker? <devious chuckle> Wonder what the Parish would think!
Thank you for chiming in. It is GREAT to see you back.

Oh, Cosmogal, I missed something. Sorry. No, this gentleman who passed was not one of my clients. I actually barely knew him, and mostly our "relationship" was built on the tidbits of conversation we shared while passing each other in various places in the Manor or about Campus.

Granny: COMIC RELIEF? Is that ALL I am to you?! πŸ˜† I HAVE to admit, it WAS one of my more-- humorous mornings. I believe I was more frustrated with myself than anything else, so perhaps I "missed" the signs because of that. One of my most trusted sources told me that maybe this time I was just not supposed to notice anything.
Which frustrated me even MORE, as I am a stickler for detail. I ferret out the tiniest minutia, mainly because it is in my job description, but more so because it is just my personality.
Thank you for gracing my page with your presence.

Miracles: I AM in that particular Manor five days a week, and about that same time each morning. This just happened to be the first morning that I was too tired to walk the halls, and decided to start on the paperwork instead. I tend to check out the building each morning, instead of patiently sitting in wait.
Coincidence? Nah. A very wise woman (Lady Anne) once said there simply is NO such thing as coincidence. I tend to agree. However, I can not say whether the sound was residual or not, as I had never noticed it before. I think I may go in early and have a seat to see what I can hear. 😊 (Oh, 😭 too bad the emoticons do not have a smiley with wiggling eyebrows)
Thank you for your questions. I KNOW you have more... Let me have 'em!

Autumn, may I borrow a small piece of your page to speak to Osa.

Osa,thank you for the welcome back 😊. As far as it being a demon, I don't think so either. I was kidding with whitebuffalo because she believes as I do that demon encounters are few and far between.

FRAWIN 😁

First of all,FRAWIN, good to see you back here.
WB Thank you once again for a detailed, honest description of events as they unfolded. I'm on the edge right now. In all respect FRAWIN, I don't feel or sense a demonic presence. What I do feel is an entanglement of subtle bodies. WB obviously has a strong physical presence and I could see how a weaker spirit would latch onto her (you), and try to remain on this plane. I know this doesn't solve anything, just throwing my thoughts out there. 😐

Hi whitebuffalo I remember reading a story in the news about a month or so ago about a cat that lived in a aged care facility I think it was, anyway the cat was loved by every one who resided there. Apparently this cat would sleep for a few days on the lap of a particular person and within the next few days that person would pass away. I can't remember how many times it had done this but obviously it was quite a few to be noticed and to make the news, just goes to show that they obviously can forsee and tell when something is about to happen, just thought I would bring that up.

I can't remember how many times those stupid doors havnt opened for me either it is quite embarrasing when your friends are waiting inside looking at you like an idiot haha. It is great to read another one of your stories again.

Thanks for sharing.

whitebuffalo - the first time I read this I glossed over the pool balls, going straight to you being "locked out." Have to admit, I was kind of picturing Ralph Macchio doing the crane instead of Kung Fu Panda, but heyπŸ˜†!

After reading, and rereading, I wonder what the deal was with the pool balls? Are you there often enough during the wee hours of the morning to know if this is residual or just happenstance? Kind of a bit of coincidence, don't you think, that you get up to join the game and you end up being locked out? Hmmm...

WB: WOW!...That was great!...Can I ask, where is the poor kitty now?...And so all of this started at around THREE?...And you tried the door how many times, THREE?... πŸ˜†...I think I would love to see that tape, too... If for no other reason than to see your kung fu panda impression! LOL!...

But really, this is very interesting!...Thanks for posting a little something different... We enjoy the comic relief πŸ˜† ❀

Autumn, the apparition that appeared on the security tape was definitely a DEMON. Go to Wal-Mart RIGHT NOW and get a water pistol, then stop at your brother's church and fill it up- PROTECT YOURSELF. πŸ˜‰

I am going to tell you true, I bounced this off a few impartial friends before even thinking of posting it here.

Cosmogal: I also believe that the cat was privy to future information that the owners did not have. Usually this cat is the most mild mannered, QUIET cat in the entire Manor. Personally, I believe he thinks himself much better than the other felines, and chooses not to associate because of that.
I did the whole running at the wall and pushing off with my feet and everything. I just do not think the "eye" was "open" πŸ˜†. Either that, or I need to brush up on my Kung Fu Panda impersonation.
Thank you so much for reading.

Wardo: I would LOVE to be able to post this video TODAY (If for no other reason than to allow people to see a wacky video). Unfortunately, it may take a while as the Security department has to do some detailed looking into the causes.
I asked for a copy, and got a hesitant answer. I work for a not-for-profit organisation that has very strict regulations on client confidentiality. Supposedly, this COULD breach that prescript. We do have a documented discussion on it, on file, trying to prove that if this is "JUST" a shadow, HOW could it violate that particular principle?
As MOST of my colleagues have no firm thoughts on the paranormal... I MAY have it "in the bag" if we can just wait out the appropriate time span.
Thank you for your interest. I will see what I can do.

Dragonwalker: I get SUCH a visual whenever I read your name (Sorry, I just HAD to say that). I am pleased that I could help someone laugh. Thank you for the welcome back.

Anyway we can get a look at the video? That seems pretty significant. Maybe we could give some feedback to you as well if we could see it too. But I agree, I think that it was the ghost of the man that passed away. The cat must have sensed something like that would happen.

I believe the poor cat sensed that his owner was going to pass away. 😒 Was this gentlemen one of your clients as well? Maybe he was taking one last stroll along the hall before he crossed over. I have to say I laughed out loud when you described how you were trying to get the doors to open. I have done the same thing when trying to find the sensor to open those silly doors. LOL πŸ˜† Great story and thanks for sharing it with us. 😊
