Never, never, never an Ouijia board. Many people (including me) believe they can handle it and it never turns out that way (or very seldom) I am glad that this is all behind you and your friends now. I urge you to resist the temptation of using one of these boards again. You may not be so lucky next time as to have whoever (or whatever) comes through the portal leave.

Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us!

God Bless!

From out of known information, I would like to advise sirisha that while dealing with Ouija board or contacting the spirits through medium, the cardinal rule is that we should never all the spirits, who in their births met with untimely, accidental or unnatural deaths. Generally, those spirits would be highly erratic, sometimes angry and many of the times dangerous. Hence, the experience sirisha and her friends had is nothing new but only confirms the established customs. It is better to avoid the unexplored territory often. But, a good narration as far as this essay is concerned. Keep it up.

That must have been an upsetting experience. Back when I didn't know the dangers of Ouija, My friend and I would practice Ouija all the time. Sometimes we would just take a pen and some paper, both of us would hold the pen and it would write answers and other things on it's own (This only worked with her by the way, she had strong spiritual connections, I suppose). We never thought it was bad because it the "spirits" never said anything bad. We used the board and other methods at, I'd say over 20 places, and talked to many different entities. When we asked the questions they always gave very average answers. Most of them had average names, said they had been born and died at average times, and gave average answers, and when they didn't know things the would simply say they didn't know. The only interesting thing is that they were most responsive when it was just me and my friend. We'd always have them draw hearts on the board and such, but we never ever asked them go to far, such as asking them to try to lift the cup or anything. Perhaps it was that we were careful with our questions that made the cautious and easy going as well, so careful in fact, that I remember some telling us that we asked boring questions. It was actually when we looked it up online and read stories like yours that made us stop.

Well, I don't really think Ouija Boards are Evil, sure they can kill someone but its the people using them that's responsible and the people that's making them, you can't shoot someone if you don't pull the trigger so I think Ouija Boards are not evil, its like Russian Roullete, either you're lucky, or bad consequences is waiting (Russian Roullete is a game of luck where someone puts one bullet in a revolver and spins it then shot, you'll never know where the bullet is).

The only thing I will ask is how could you remove religious icons and pictures. Did you feel nothing whilst removing these. Icons are placed in homes for protection, placed in specific places not just anywhere. I am sure if the family found out what you all had done they would have flipped out. As for the board game, well all I can say is nothing different that the other posters. Don't mess with things that you know nothing about.

You may all be ok now but what is there to say that nothing will happen in the days to come.

Yes they still sell them & they do work so don't use it. It's just a big invitation to demonic entities into you life & home. I am so pissed that they sell these things as toys. Just shows how deceiving the enemy is. Makes me sick. I'm so sorry you had to learn this way, but at least now you know the truth & I ask the Lord to bless you. Much love.

It's very hard to believe that these boards work, they definetly do. When I was a teen I decided to play with one of these boards with my friends. Honestly, I thought all the stories were made up, until I witnessed how evil these boards really are. They answer a lot of questions, some are the truth, most are lies.
Here is a story that hopefully will keep you away from these boards altogether. I probably sound like a hypocrite, I still have to tell you this story. My mothers friend had a bunch of women get together for a party. They brought a Quija Board thinking it might be fun. Anyway they contacted a nasty spirit telling the host of the party that her son was going to die. Within a month he drowned. Bad way to go, huh. Some of you may think that this is a coincidence, I don't think so. This isn't made up, it really happened. You don't just need to worry about demon possession, (if you believe in such a thing), you have to think about the lives of you & your friends. I really hope that you don't have any bad experiences. Sounds like you are Ok. Take the advice of JimD if you do experience anything demonic. Erebus is right they always try to suck you in by working on your emotions. All of us know how hard it would be to ignore it if we think that it is really our loved ones that has passed. When my father died I missed him so much, I did contact a Medium, which wasn't probably the best thing to do, however there was no way that I was going to play with a Quija board again. All of this opens us up to doors that we can't always shut, unless we have the help of experts like JimD to help. Even Mediums will tell you not to mess with them. So please, stay away & God Bless.

Hey there, its been a while since I've used this site. Wow, that was a very touching story, well, the first part that is. I'm interested and planning to use an Ouija Board once then when I read this story where five guys and girls were using an Ouija Board and horrific things start happening like one of the girl feeled like cutting her arm and it felt good, faces like Vampires start appearing in their heads and after a few months since they used the Ouija Board one of the girl died and I was like "What the Hell was I thinking doing something that's not very good for my life expectancy.". Your darn lucky its not that serious. I hope your dad moves on into a better place. This Nathan aka no_XIII and you're reading this in YourGhostStories. Com wishing you a good life and a good day.

Another account on the dangers of using Ouija Boards as you learned they can't be trusted and are dangerous tools many, many people will agree with this you are quite lucky that nothing else came of it. I believe one sometimes have to experience this themselves to be able to agree, and this I assume will nearly always be the case. Take heed everyone!

Hi;

Many of my c;ients have used this horrid board - even once is enough. Sometimes nothing happens, and sometimes a door is opened, behind which is pure evil. You were lucky. I'd get Catholic Holy water, and remember the names of "Jesus, Mary, and St. Michael the Archangel", just in case.

There is no time in the spirit world, so a demon may appear for something that had occurred yesterday, or 25 years ago. FYI. God bless. Dukes2352atAOL.com.

Oh my God. Why did you do that? My mother used to do the "board" every night. Even talking about it scares me. It's evil. And that girl you were talking to must have gone to hell, and that's bad. She's a demon. Why would you contact a girl that was always mean? Well, it's a leson well learned.

As I have said to other posters who messed with the Ouija board, NEVER EVER PLAY with it. I had a bad experience with it and vowed never to play with it again. I'm going to share it in the future.

i just want to say, OUIJA BOARDS are so stupid. Parker Bros. Could care less if you got possessed. Good job by the way, burning it is a very popular way to do it. Personally, I would have smashed it first, THEN burnt it but you did better than the people who just throw it in the closet. If any of you want info on Demons, The Blood Moon Dream is the person to talk to. If you see a Demon, or ghost etc. E-mail me at legends101 [at] hotmail.co.uk
You will NOT be on my contact list, but I will reply within a day.

Sincerely, The Blood Moon Dream

Messing with an ouija board is like dialing random numbers on a phone. You would not know who you are contacting.
I seriously think they should ban that game. There are too many articles about its dangers.

Messing with the unknown is always a huge risk: better practice with an expert or not try it at all. I learnt from my own experience that anyone can attract what declares to be a family spirit or devil, but they always are lesser creatures who feed on emotions... And that is when things get worse. They mess your life regardless of your destruction.

A valuable lesson learned for you all. Maybe your story will help someone else decide that Ouija boards are just too unpredictable to use. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings ❤
