Hi whitebuffalo,
Don't know why, but I could never master the "beer chaser" thing, a la "Coyote Ugly."

Hi Louie,
No I didn't drive to the bar. If I told you that I've NEVER drank and drove in my life, I would obviously be lying. But no, on that day I had gotten off work at 6pm, a friend (quasi-boyfriend, actually) picked me up from work, and we drove to Tequila Jack's. The incident happened, around 7:30pm, and we left around 8 o'clock.

Hi EmeraldAngel,
Thank you Katerine for the sweet compliment about my story writing "talent." I completely understand how you feel about being scared to write about ghosts and demons, but keep your head up. Look how many of us there are on this site alone, looking for the exact same stories. I am definitely looking forward to reading your story on spiritcleanser.freewebs.com.

Dear zzsgranny,
Thank you for your post. I completely agree that it tried to mess with my drunken head. I'm really glad that you enjoyed my story and found it funny. I have read several of your stories, and have enjoyed all of them. 😁

Dear Di,
Thank you for your post, and for reading my other stories. I look forward to reading about your experiences. I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. Cancer is a horrible disease, and losing a loved one is devastating, it's a pain and loss that never goes away. You and your family are in my prayers. God bless you.

so your saying that after a day of drinking you drove to another bar or did someone drive you?

See now? THAT is why I used a beer chaser. Spit the shot back out into the bottle that is supposed to hold beer, and a bartender can "drink" all night.
Wa-do.

to answer you question... I think ghosts/spirits/entities try to do things as often as possible when they know there aren't any video cameras around... The entities that can think that is (not residual ones)...like the one that messed with you.
;)

Aussiedaz, thank you for your reply, that was very polite and courteous of you. Thank you for being such a classy person.
Koalagirl, thank you for your response. I'm really glad to hear that you found it "witty and funny." You and Daz just gave me a confidence boost in my "amateur writing," ability. Thank you again, Di.

Thank you zzsgranny for your post. I'm glad to know that you like my story. I've read some of your stories as well, and I look forward to more of them.
In retrospect, I wish someone had videotaped it. Why is it that most paranormal and funny things occur when there's no video camera around? 😊

Dear Daz and haysw1012,
Thank you both for your sweet compliments about my writing style and my story. Your comments both put a smile on my face. People like you are one of the reasons why I love this site so much, and you maintain the positive atmosphere in our community, as our moderators and we had intended.
Daz, I would agree that the prankster was having a laugh at my expense, and yes, thank God it wasn't hundreds of years ago, like during the Salem witch trials. Again, Daz, thank you for telling me it was well presented, and for letting me "pull you in" to it.
Haysw1012, looking back on it now, it is actually a pretty funny story. To be honest, I wasn't even sure if they would even publish this story, because my intro was rather lengthy. I feel the same way as you about that man, that was rude and disrespectful, but I know that he was a LOT more scared than I had been at the time. I'm glad you enjoyed my story, and thank you for adding it as your favorites.

bahahahahaha that is hilarious. I would totally do that if I were a ghost... Mess with people in silly ways. But not the scary kinds.

But what a jerk for accusing you, but I can't totally blame him. He was scared after all.

Still great story. It was a nice refreshing read from all the usual things on here.

:)

This is totally going in my favorites.

It does seem like a prankster ghost that was moving the astray... And I'm sure it got a laugh when you where accused of being a witch, thank god its not the 18th century lol... Thank you for sharing, it was well presented, felt like I was there...

Daz 😁
