Pendragon, it's in the works... Not as easy as it sounds, but it I've gotten the requests

Well I'm glad to read that some people can't live a day without a new story from this site But seriously, we have like a few thousands, don't be afraid to check older ones. That being said, we are getting back on track with new submissions after this little hiatus. And I'll be keeping a closer eye on trouble makers. Religious fanatics and teenage pranksters are definitely not welcomed.

Peaches' post has been moderated because it was disrespectful, but he had a point, orbs like these are very common in photos and it's probably the last orbs photo we will accept, unless it's extraordinary.

I cleaned up the comments as much I can. The author specifically requested no preaching, so the preachy comments were deleted. And for the fanatics out there, please, spare me the persecution complex. Now, the author herself isn't very receptive to feedback either and responds in an unacceptable manner, so comments on this story are now closed. I rarely have to do this, but this situation calls for it. Sorry all.

Trudy, Lupernikes never said it was bad to be christian, don't put words in his mouth. The way your post was written, you seem to imply someone has to convert to christianity to fight off spirits, which is not the case, and this site certainly wouldn't be the appropriate place to try and convert others.

This is a site where people discuss paranormal things. There is no end of story as long as it is not a scientifically proven fact.

The date of an email is dictated by the sender as far as I know and whatever server it's been used, which can be badly configured. Sometimes I get spam from the future! I think 1969 is the default year when the date is missing. I wouldn't interpret it as something that was really sent in 1969. Just a computer problem.

elner, "christians" do the same as everyone else if they see a ghost for the first time, they crap their pants.

First of all, this site is not public property, it's privately owned, so we can pretty much do as we please. That being said, everyone involved, editors and moderators, strive to be fair because we are good people

Second, our editors are volunteers that read day in, day out, stories submitted by the public and decide if they should be published or not, based on their own judgments so visitors don't have to go themselves through a lot of the crappy ones. It's a lot of work. We may make errors, we are not perfect.

Third, those editors do get a pass at publishing and approving their own experiences if they so wish, that's one of the (few) perks for all the donation of their personal time. However, keep in mind that editors are amongst the most trusted and mature users on this site, so I wouldn't make an issue out of this.

Conflict of interest? Probably, but we are not the New York Times or the Judiciary Branch

Succubussed, you're right, we don't publish simple dreams, and I wouldn't have posted it if it wasn't for the orbs she saw for a while when she awoke, hence the category choice.

Sorry about the first half of the story missing, it was eaten by a cyber gremlin. It's fixed now.

If this photo is real that's one of the most impressive shot of a ghost I have seen! (I kind of freaked out the first time I had a look) There seems to be a shadow though... I wouldn't think a ghost would cast shadows.

AussieRedDog, this is not a christian site, it's a site about ghosts, and most cultures in the world have some beliefs about them. All religions / philosophies / spiritual practices are welcome. However, a majority of visitors are american and christian, so you'll find a lot of feedback from a christian perspective.

Hi Lisamaxw, I read your bio, scary stuff, you should submit it as a story. And no, you don't have to leave just because we don't agree on some things, that's the nature of discussion boards. However, every now and then, we get some zealous conservative christian damning us all to hell for learning about the paranormal and just being a pain in the butt, so I wanted to avoid this situation in case. But I always welcome *real experiences* like yours.
