I was at my grandmother's house and she was sitting in like living room on the couch, and I was in the kitchen. I'd suddenly start running to the staircase and I'd be trying to walk up the stairs but it felt like something was pulling me back. My mother and friends were at the top of the stairs and I always made it to them because I knew something bad would happen if I didn't. I had that dream A LOT. I haven't had it for a while though, thank god.
Just an hour ago or less, I was thinking how lucky I was that there were no unexplainable events happening (aka paranormal stuff:p) and I was holding a plate of pizza. As I walked into my bedroom and was about to sit at my computer, the plate literally exploded in my hand. Needless to say I dashed out of there and I'm on a different computer now:p
So the spiders were definitely imagined but I'm not sure about the bed. I don't know that much about the pill but I do know that lots of them have hallucination side effects.
Perhaps you should get a priest to bless the house and help her move on? I don't honestly believe in God, but I heard that works.

I'd also much rather think it's a ghost than a hallucination. If you think it's a hallucination, wouldn't you start to think you're going crazy?

Perhaps you're right, I've never even conisdered these possibilities that you mentioned.
But one thing:
My cat has never gone behind my computer desk, because it's right by the wall and there's not enough room for her to fit. But just last night I saw the doppelganger again and it had jumped behind. Perhaps it could still be one of those things, but we'll never be sure until we figure out the answers to all the things like this.

Since Beth was gaining happiness, I don't think it was evil, it could have just been a ghost that couldn't manifest itself enough to show any more than a shadow.
Or it could have been attracted to Beth's depression and come to strive off of it, but that doesn't seem likely to me.:\

Also, I took Surya's advice and took down the mirrors when I felt the presence again. At first it grew stronger and angrier so I left the room, but when I came back it was gone. Also, my poor blue mirror is smashed;=; I put it out in the hallway and when I came out of my room I stepped on it;=; I guess that's 7 years of bad luck for me XD

Also, hobbyholly, I hope I don't sound right but I'm going to try to answer just two of your questions.
Well, for 2), wasn't the reason she believed her sister was because her friend had seen the 'thing', and so had she? Perhaps the 'things' her sister saw were all real?
And for 5), If those noises could have been made in their sleep, shouldn't they have been asleep? Both girls were awake at that time. Although if it wasn't for that you could be right.
If there is a green glow to any of the pictures, that is NOT paranormal. It's the vibrantly green color of my room XD (notkidding ><")

I can see myself in maybe two mirrors when I walk in the room, but because of the angle the pink one is at, it's impossible to see yourself in it when you walk through the door.
I was also wondering that about the ouija board. O-o That might be the reason why, he doesn't want to leave.

I'm not sure why I love mirrors XD They just seem pretty to me, so I keep buying them.

When I walk in my bathroom at night I just can't look at the mirror >< And in my bedroom my biggest mirror (a huge long one on my closet door) is always hidden (I keep the door closed over so I can't see it LOL)

I knew a kid that used to kick animals. I only had hamsters at that time, and he lived next door to me so I took my hamsters out in their cages (don't ask why, I was 8 XD) and he tried to take one and tried to kill it;=;
Poor hamster lived but I can't garuantee how safe that ***hole was after dealing with me:p I broke his arm XD
About how old is the house?
Can you find out anything about all the previous owners?
I'm sure some neighbours that have been there longer might know, or you can ask your parents to ask the real estate agent that sold them the house.
Just like moms not to believe:P My mom is the same way -_- She doesn't believe ANYTHING I say about ghosts, and yet she takes a panic attack at the mention of a ouija board because she's afraid that demonic spirits will enter the home (she also says my atheism is going to bring in demons -_-"'). I don't see how you can believe in demons but completely deny the existence of anything paranormal at the same time O-o'
