IT could have been a demon, because demons usually take shapes of something that's familiar to you. Plus, its true that you are more prone to ghosts when your younger, 'cause your mind isn't flooded with reality and crap.

EmeraldAngel, I have seen several stories that you have posted on, and every time I see a post I find something that reminds me of well, me. I know it sounds stalkerish, but trust me I'm not, in fact I'm Highly scared of stalkers. Anyways I have found out that we are ABOUT the same age, and both live in texas. I don't have a demon/ghost following me, but I have a very old texan family, and everyone seems to be psychic. Actually, I'm sorta the weak one when it comes to this stuff, even though I know the most about it. Anyways, let me just tell you this, don't believe paranormal activity, 'cause it has several different endings. Have you looked at demonology? Maybe if you find out more you can get rid of this THING! Also next time you feel its presence, take a picture, and see if you get anything. But don't take a lot of pictures, because that can make it stronger.

Creepy! DeviousAngel, Who knows how it could make a sound without a head? Maybe it was the sound of its last breath escaping it, sorta like a lobster when you boil it. And also, TonySoprano60, Why is there a road called Texas Rd.? I live in texas so I was wondering. I guess its the same reason why we have a Colorado City and a Paris.

Ghost story: Demon Took The Form Of Dad

He was wearing glasses to hide his eyes, because a demon can take the form of anything, but it will have pitch black eyes rather than a normal eye color. It wouldn't talk, because it would have probably come out as a strange scary sound that would have chased you back into the house. The form of your dad was probably to make you more comfortable. The last question...IDK!

Tip: don't pay as much attention to paranormal state, because when someone who uses big camera crews like that can make something like a ghost within 10 seconds. Watch something like "Ghost Adventures" they don't have any big camera crews, and they had a 7 hour live show from an insane asylum in west virginia. They also set up some cameras during the live programming in other areas so you can watch them online and see if YOU see anything suspicious. You could call and tell them that during the show.

If it keeps on doing the same thing every night, then maybe you should check out if there is an quartz near, around, or underneath the house. Quartz is known to hold the past, so maybe something happened that6 the quartz is holding. If you feel and hear this "spirit", and only seen it this once, maybe its a ghast, a remnant of the originial spirit.

Was there anything special that happened in his life that was on that particular date? If so maybe he came back to the sight to remind himself of that special thing and you just happened to be there. I am 12 years old, and have had a ghostly experience, but nothing more. My cousin has had a lot though, and I'm very close to her, and I love to research the paranormal
