Hey, I'm scared of everything, but love tales of ghosts and ghoulies! My most heard phrase is "Eeeeeeeep!" and I can usually be found cowering behind the sofa with my eyes shut and my fingers in my ears.

Working single mother to one beautiful cheeky little baby boy, and one very naughty but lovable springer spaniel. My boys keep me sane amongst all the madness of sensing other presences and predicting what will happen from my gut feelings. And they don't judge me for being a 25 year old who still sleeps with the night light on:-)

My Nanny Visits My Son on 2012-10-09

It's been a long time since my last submission, and a lot has happened! I am now mother to a beautiful 7 month old boy, and he has been attracting some unusual visitors. Since he was about 4 weeks old, my son has smiled a big cheeky grin at those he loves, and whenever I would put him on his cha...

Something Grabbed Me, Something Evil? on 2011-03-15

I'm really freaking out about this, so I hope someone will be able to offer me some advice or at least a little reassurance that I'm not going crazy! Last night (Monday 15th March) at about 9pm, I took my puppy Olly out for a walk in the park across the street from my house. It was absolutely free...

Jane's Mum 2 on 2010-12-15

This follows from my previous story, which was told to me by my friend Ellie. Again, all the names have been changed. About 6 months after the incident with the shadow in Jane's bedroom, Ellie was sleeping over at Jane's house. She had not experienced anything else since the shadow, and as I said...

Jane's Mum on 2010-12-15

This is my friend's story. She has given me permission to share it with you, but I have changed everyone's names. Going back about 8 years to when we were 15, my friend Ellie used to hang around with a girl from her school named Jane. Jane's mother was very sensitive to spirits, she would often s...

Some Weird And Scary Stuff That's Happened 2 on 2010-11-17

Hey guys and girls. My last post was about strange things that have happened to me, so here are a couple more that I think are weird. I do need to give a bit of background first, which may be boring, I'm not sure... If it is then I am really sorry. I feel I need to explain how bad the situation ...

Some Weird And Scary Stuff That's Happened on 2010-11-08

Hey everyone, I haven't posted anything like this before, but have had many discussions with close friends and my partner about my experiences. So, I'm a 23 year old girl, I live in London, England with my partner and our puppy. I don't actually remember my first weird experience, because I was o...

I made the same mistake too Sceptic-Ari, don't worry! I think it is just a cultural difference, as I know there are young grandparents in England, but I would consider "young grandparent" to be about 60, like my parents ha ha ha

lovely 😊 as long as we're all happy and no one is annoyed 😆 (deep breath!)

a wonderfully written account, and I really had chills when reading this! The fact that the entity was facing away from you from every angle rings very loud alarm bells for me, I would definitely believe the taxi driver that this was something other-worldly and not at all friendly.

hiya samtillie 😆 you're right, it's best not to throw the word troll around, it tends to get people in a bit of a tizz, and no one is on here for an argument.
I am always suspicious of stories which seem planted to promote a particular religion. Perhaps I am too cynical, or perhaps I am just observant.

now now, let's all get along... I don't think anyone is attacking you for your opinions Shlain, like you said we're all entitled to think differently and express that on here. Take a deep breath x

Congratulations, I hope your new addition has arrived safe and well and that you are recovering with minimal ghostly disturbance! Hope your little girl is feeling better too, poor bub!

I really enjoyed reading this experience, and Tom sounds wonderful watching out for all the new mummies and little babies, I hope he is happy and likes his role. It would be interesting to find out who he was and what connection he had to the hospital, whether he was a patient who passed away there or a member of staff or even just a caring individual.

Best wishes honey xxx

sounds like Jack was checking in on his family, I wonder why he was looking so stern? Maybe he was waiting for you to stop gawping at him and say hello ha ha ha. Wonderful story, thanks for sharing and I hope to hear more. Has your grandmother ever seen him?

Thanks for sharing, what a nice story 😊 Sounds like the monk is a sort of mascot for the Abby. I'd love to see the picture if you could get a link up?

I am with Rook, I would never leave my son alone outside at night, especially if he had no clothes on!

spooky occurance!

I agree with the majority of posters on here in that it does sound like you had an encounter with a curious being, a seemingly harmless curious being. I would have been too scared to do anything too, and it does sound as though maybe it was having a little peek at what you were up to, and was unsure how to react when you woke up and stared straight at it! Try to chalk it up to experience and not let it play on your mind, as you must rest and concentrate on getting better. Please share any other experiences you may have, as we are all here to help and support you 😁

Wishing you a speedy recovery hun

No point being sad about it Jav, it's only a website and they are only people. They don't know you so their judgement isn't going to be correct, is it? Just do what you know is right and don't worry what faceless strangers think. Who cares? ❤ chin up honey ❤

Jav it's pointless. Nothing will be done about it, he will keep posting under multiple names and no one will take a blind bit of notice because apparently scoring points by thinking up ways to insult each other is much more important than ensuring the site is safe. Just pray that no youngsters are drawn in by his stories or fake persona.

urgh I have adhered to the guidelines. Miracles just deleted my post because I called her out on her behaviour. Me saying you are acting like witchy schoolgirls is no worse than you accusing Javelina of being manipulative, paranoid, and of hearing voices in her head. One rule for mods, another for everyone else?
Date: 2012-10-30
and I'd just like to add that I'm not "friends" with anyone on here, I have no particular preference for any of the other posters. This isn't me blindly sticking up for someone because they're my mate and I feel obliged, this is just me feeling like I have to say something after watching the seemingly relentless attacks on a few posters. I'm also concerned about the negligence with regards to a potential paedo with multiple accounts on the site, which still hasn't been addressed at all by the way because everyone is too busy making personal digs at each other.
Date: 2012-10-30
if you don't want to change the way you moderate, then don't complain when posters pull you up on it. You do realise websites are supposed to be for the use of posters right? As in this site has not been created for you to play Ms BigBoots stomping around on a bit of a power trip?
Date: 2012-10-30
You didn't make that point clear at all, and I don't think it was proven either. Why would someone waste time typing a comment they knew was going to be deleted? Perhaps you are judging people by your own standards here.
Date: 2012-10-30
again, I know it will be no good to contact an administrator, because he let's you be a mod so he must be ok with what you're doing. But let me stress to you, just because a bloke who runs a website thinks it's ok for the 3 of you to bully posters, that doesn't make it right, in the same way that just because a mum let's her 11 year old smoke and stay out until midnight doesn't make it right, or just because the head of a company authorises money laudering it doesn't make it right. You won't change the way you moderate, and I won't change the way I comment.
Date: 2012-10-30
anyway, I am so not here to argue. So I will say, very sad for the poor little boy and hope he finds peace soon, or has fun playing with your neighbour's son in the meantime.
Date: 2012-10-30
I think I completely missed your point granny. Somewhere between you saying mods don't delete things just because they don't like them, and Miracles saying she deleted my comment because she didn't like it... Well I just lost the point.
