The Tailor In The Attic on 2012-01-09

Sorry for this stories length, this happened last month a couple weeks before Christmas. I am also typing this from my iPhone, so please disregard minor misspellings. Thanks. I am stationed in Italy, and am renting a house from an old Italian gentleman. He speaks a jumbled bunch of English, and ...

Granny- No I have not tried anything, I guess I could try it. I will look into it and see what I come up with. I kind of got the impression that this only happens once a year, the week leading up to the accident. This is when she was making the dress. I will not be here for the next years time frame, so I will not be able to see if it happens again.

well hey, I created a "temp" email address so neither one of us has to actually put a real thing on here. So email me at temp663 [at] Only if you want too, not trying to be a creep-o. 😜

Miracles- Yea I was deployed and just got back like two months ago. I found the picture I took of the bar of soap for you when I first got back, however, it was on my last Iphone before someone stole it... Out of my pocket.
I have had no other encounters, except the floor boards above me creak. Doesn't really sound like footsteps, but who knows maybe its her walking around.

Anneke8- I didn't ask the landlord if he had these things happen when he still lived in the house, but from the expression and how he asked me how long have they been happening; I got the feeling that they had happened before, he just didn't want to tell me before I noticed them for fear of not renting the house out.
I just read your story that talked about your cat Harley sleeping with her when she was little (sorry if this has already been talked about) but did the scratches start happening after he died? Or was he / is he still alive?

I'm with everyone else and would like to hear more about these 3 figures.

Unfriendly, you're a d*ck. Why don't you go and do us all a favor and take care of yourself so someone can write on here about what you look like as a ghost.

Not a problem. We will figure something out! Wait, I know we are not supposed to post links on here, but what if it is a link to say a photobucket thing. It is strictly official business. 😉

There are so many variables to this situation that we may never be able to debunk this. It may have truly been a paranormal experience, but I like to look at every possibility before deciding one way or another. Its just as important to prove its true, than to prove it not true! 😉

Miracles - If you want I can't send you the picture I took of the two pieces so you can compare the edges, I am interested as to how close my experiment was to your occurrence.

Taz and Miracles - I don't mean like really soft, but if it starts to get softer on the outside then in the core, it might not just tear straight across. Also, was there any soap shavings or little pieces of soap next to the piece that was still under the covers? If there wasn't, it was not caused by the soap drying out because when a bar of soap is dry and you break it in half, a bunch of pieces go everywhere. If I could upload a picture I would. I just broke a piece of soap in half and it has little shavings all over the table where I broke it. However, I use old man dial bar soap, so maybe that has something to do with it.

So I have two things for you miracles. For restless leg syndrome, go to your local pharmacy/walmart and pick up a bottle of iron pills. It is just an iron supplement, and it helps with rls.

And as for this bar of soap issue, I think I may have figured it out.

With the soap being under the covers and being close to your body, it gets warm and gets soft. If kicked with heel or ankle or even if it stuck to your leg and the sheet it might be possible that if you moved you could cause a jagged rip. Yes? No?
