Ghost Stories from Riarocks

No Logical Explanation on 2014-07-02

I came across this website back in 2012 when my fiance moved to Dubai from India. I have always been a fan of real ghost stories and I wanted to read up a bit before moving to Dubai myself. Little did I know that I would be writing one myself from my own life. I am a Gemini and being an air sign...

Hey! If you read my post (there's only one written as of now) you will find some minor similarities because all the furniture in my house was totally creepy... I have not read the other comments but I personally do believe that certain things can carry something negative with them. It is always safer to dispose them at the earliest. I think you did the right thing

Hi Allesgute

Thanks for sharing your concern. 😊
My husband and I did do a proper ritual in accordance with our religion and the only thing that happened after it was that we woke up (our first morning in the new flat) to a dead pigeon in the balcony. But that is actually a good omen. In hindu religion, it means that whatever evil was trying to harm us had affected the poor bird instead and the bird died to protect us. Not a very happy thing to wake up to but atleast I was relived of spooky stuff. In fact, living in the old house, I was on the verge of divorcing my husband within 3 months of getting married. M still picking up the pieces right now but it is getting better...

Hi Pragya

Thanks a ton! I did act bravely now, didn't I? 😉

Honestly, if I had the option to move out, I would have but I didn't so I had to deal with it... Lol

Hi Sds

Thanks for the warm welcome. I knew that the whole thing wasn't such a good omen but I tried to not think about it though that did not help. And also, I hadn't realized the extent of negativity it was associated with. Also, the person who sold us the furniture had to sell it BECAUSE he had lost his job and as I mentioned in my previous comment to rook, my husband went through something very similar. Also, we got the furniture dirt cheap and it is never this cheap. In the new flat however, I made it a point to buy everything first hand. Not having to spend the money is just not worth the drama.

About the astral projection thing, I have never done it. I still don't know how to do it. I never even tried to learn how to do it. IN our culture it is said that we should never sleep facing a mirror because the connection between our body and soul is weakest when we are asleep and the mirror can act a a pathway for the soul so when asleep while facing a mirror, it becomes very easy for the soul to get pulled away by other souls wanting to cause negativity. Some western cultures have similar beliefs. And sadly, the bed was between 2 mirrors which were facing each other so it was kind of like two portals. I have never had that experience before living in that house or after leaving it. The first two times, I passed it as sleep paralysis but the third time was way to serious and scary.

Hi Rook

Thanks for the interest in my story. My husband and I also think that the spirit was attached to the furniture and very strongly so because we would often here knocks coming from the cupboard and initially we didn't bother about it because we kept thinking that the sound was coming form someone in the flat next to ours sharing the wall until the day it dawned on us that there is no flat on that side of the room because our flat is right next to the staircase.

The hair thing was the first thing I noticed about the flat and I have had a negative vibe ever since. AS soon as you would enter the flat/ apartment, you would inevitably get depressed and feel sad. For absolutely no reason. Also, did I mention that my husband lost his job for no reason other than being a friendly guy in that flat? I am writing a compilation of things that I couldn't mention in this post in the next one. Sorry for the delayed response. I had no idea that this got published 😕 😳 😉
