Hi Guys, my name is Jenni. I live in a small market town in the county of Lincolnshire in the UK. I've had a few weird things happen to me but I'll tell you about that another time.

I absolutely love ghosts and hauntings, as I said, I have experienced a few my self. A lot of people are quite sceptical a about what I've seen/heard/felt. And quite often make fun of me, saying it's my imagination. So infuriating! I am really enjoying reading your stories and hope you enjoy reading mine. I'm not an expert but I love this sort of thing!

His Coffee Just Vanished on 2017-02-10

This evening, something weird happened. I made my fiancé, Gino, and myself a cup of coffee. I brought them through to our bedroom and put his on the small table on his side of our bed. About half an hour later, Gino turns to me and asks if I drank his coffee. I told him I hadn't and he showed...

My Friend Has Been To Visit Again on 2017-01-03

A couple of years ago, I wrote a post about how my friend had died and how I thought he'd been to visit me in my dream. A couple of weeks a go, I'd noticed odd things happening around the house. Just things going missing then turning back up in weird places, feeling like someone was sat next to m...

Someone Was In Our Apartments! on 2017-01-03

This is two stories from our time in Malta. This first is when we were in our hotel apartment. We'd been there about 10 days. It was about 11:00 at night and we were exhausted from the heat and the busy day we'd had. It was October 2016 and was still 30 degrees c (86 F) and being English we're no...

Spooky Goings On on 2014-10-27

So it's been a long time since I last posted a story and a fair few things have happened to me since. There are several stories I'd like to share with you so this submission might be a bit long. The first I'm going to tell you takes place not long after my friend died. In the area I used to live ...

Is It My Friend Or Someone Else? on 2013-08-26

This is my first experience I have written about, and I haven't really told many people about it either. So here goes. Unfortunately, this story starts with a sad beginning. One of my closest friends died in April this year. I can't tell you how, as I don't want to upset his family. I should also...

[at] aerth, trust me, he didn't drink it, so may things have been happening around here, it's getting to be more frequent and more intense...

Thanks guys for all of your stories and suggestions. Since writing this I've realised a few things. Gino and myself got interested in Voodoo, the real religion not the faked Hollywood stuff, and found it to be quite a peaceful religion, that made a lot of sense to us regarding spirits etc. We decided we wouldn't try anything until we found out more bout the religion and if we could practice and ask questions to the people who are already involved. I found out the other night, that dispite the fact that we agreed not to, Gino tried to get help from the spirits using a voodoo spell. After he'd done this, the coffee disappeared. Then tonight, I heard what sounded like the back door closing went out to check and both doors are wide open. My mother in law was in her bedroom. Normally his wouldn't faze me, but Gino had just been out there, said the doors were closed and this happened 30 seconds after he came back into our room!

As I'm typing this Gino looked up Spirits that accept coffee as an offering from the voodoo world, Google came up straight away with the answer... A sprit called Legba... Apparently he stands at the spiritual cross roads and gives or denies permission to speak with the spirits...

He appears as an old man leaning on a cane. Gino saw an old man in our local supermarket staring at him, he even mentioned it to me at the time, but I just shrugged it off...

He apparently loves dogs and looks after them but makes them feel uncomfortable. Our dog was being really clingy after Gino did this spell...

So much is making sense now!
I feel bad for the "guy" in our hotel apartment, my other half sleeps naked, so when he leapt out of bed to confront him, he was fully nude! He is 6ft tall and very muscular. He's enough to scare anyone while he's full dressed and annoyed, let alone starkers as well! Laugh
Thanks guys, the last time I dreamed about him was three weeks after he died. So it's been nearly four years since he's spoken to me... It made me happy and sad at the same time lol.

I once lived in a flat that should have been number 13 but was given number 15 instead lol. My next door neighbours lived at number 11. The flats went up in 2s but in odd numbers if that makes sense. Weird.

I consider #13 my luck number too Triskaideka, I was born on the 13th day of the month so it's never really bothered me and Friday 13th is what I call my good luck day. It's all about your state of mind.

But Sabbywhiteer is correct when the say that some hotels don't have a 13th floor for that reason. I've seen a program on TV in New Orleans, and they have stairs that lead to ceilings, doors that lead to nowhere and no 13th floor. It's supposed to confuse bad spirits. I think it's quite a good insight to human nature and old mythology and legends
[at] Khili, yes, the animal who killed him is currently serving a life sentence to serve a minimum of 27 years for double murder. He not only killed my friend but also a girl who was there.

Absolutely shocking way to die.

I think about him often and smile at the thought of him scaring us all half to death lol:-)
[at] Khili, I've read both of your stories and I've found them both fascinating!

You are now on my favourites! Lol

Best wishes,

Jennilou Happy
Hey guys, I know it's been a while since I've posted on my story, but I can now update you.

The reason I was so upset about him dying (aside from the obvious) is because of how he died.

I can now tell you that he was murdered (stabbed to death). So his death was very sudden. I couldn't tell you this before as the trial for his murder was still on going.

I hope this answers any questions you may have.

Best wishes,

Jennilou

[at] lornadixon, I meant do a bit of research on your town/city. For example, the city near where I live predates the Romans. You could find out something that you never thought of. Or maybe even just give you an idea of what you're dealing with.

Best wishes

[at] miracles, sorry didn't realise. I was wondering why he would refer to himself as a cutter, when the last thing you want is people making fun of you for doing it, let alone making comments like this about yourself.

I feel a bit foolish now tbh. Telling people I was a "cutter" when I was younger isn't something I generally do unless I think someone needs help. (I do this so people know I understand what it's like). The fact that this story could be false really upsets me!

Self harm is very private, and in most cases people are ashamed of it. They don't want others to know!

If this story is false he should be ashamed of himself!

Btw, sorry for the late reply, I've been rather busy.

Thanks for the heads up Miracles.

Best wishes

Great story! I kind of know what you're talking about by being touched. I had a similar experience happen to me. I love ghost tours too. Not only do you get a feel for a place, but get a real history lesson about real people!

Do you think you will ever go on another one?

Hi,

Please excuse the expression, but chilling!

Have you had anymore experiences? Personally, that shadow would have creeped me out, but at the same time sounds fasinating!

Do you know the history of your house or area you live in?

Would love to hear about any more experiences you've had.

Regards,

Jennilou
Hi max power,

I can relate to you in that I used to be depressed and a cutter too. I cut myself for about 3 years And what I will tell you is that when you're depressed everything seems to be much worse.

This is just my opinion, others may disagree, but when you "create" negativity it almost always comes back to you. You could be being targeted by this entity because of your negative thoughts.

I have now been taught to find a positive in every negative. I know this sounds like a load of rubbish but it really does work. I've found the things that bothered me don't so much anymore. I mean both normal and paranormal.

I find that when something scary is going on with the paranormal it's made worse by my fear, if that makes sense. Like the "entity" is feeding off my fear.

I hope this helps And I'm sorry if I'm coming across as patronising or condescending, but I find it really helps.

I wish you the best of luck and I hope you find the answers you're looking for, either within medical help or in the paranormal.

Regards,

Jenni loo
Thanks guys, I miss him a lot and I always think about him. I think he would love being a ghostie. He loved all this. He even got a couple of pics of a building, and in one pic in two of the windows, you can clearly see two human like shaddows. This building has been shut for years and is tightly secured so you can't get in. He was so excited when he showed me lol. Bless him

hi, really interesting!

I love stories like this. Although I'm sorry about your friend Mark.

I've done just as you said and looked up your village on Google. I didn't find anything about devil worship, although I didn't really expect to. You have a long history there! Dating back before the doomsday book. By the sounds of things its Roman, about as old as the city nearest to me, Lincoln, could this be the reason for your hauntings? Maybe there were houses built and demolished where your house now stands. Also, maybe it was a farmers land at one point. Who knows?

I think It's great that your grandma is still obviously looking over you! Good to know she's still there when you need her! Such a sweet story, although maybe your friend wouldn't agree!
