First of all, thank you for the kind words about my writing. I enjoy doing it and affirmation is always very welcome.

As to the potential 'paranormity' of my ordeal, based on everyone's comments, it seems like sleep paralysis and an overactive imagination are the likely co-culprits.

I do want to reiterate however, that I don't think beer factored into this much, if at all.

I guess, despite my skepticism, that somewhere deep down I WANT to perceive something supernatural. I think all of us do.

Elfstone, you could absolutely be right.

I am positive that the establishment was trying to play up the paranormal aspect of the restaurant.

I COULD be mistaken about the curtain, but the beer wouldn't have had anything to do with that. One or two beers several hours before I went to bed are likely not to blame for any misconceptions I might have had.

Also, I'm not familiar with Sleep Paralysis, but I will look it up now that you've brought it to my attention.
