Haunted Hotel In Vietnam on 2014-05-05

My last paranormal experience took place two months ago during my trip to Vietnam. My wife and I were staying in room 215 at the hotel Vien Ngoc Xanh at 397 Le Van Sy Street, Ward 2, Tan Binh, in Saigon. On March 5th, at 2:30 AM, a violent argument broke out in room 216 and woke me and my wife up...

Veiled Entity And Sleep Paralysis? on 2014-04-22

A very strange thing happened to me fifteen years ago. At the time, I shared my bedroom with my little sister. From my bed, I could see the electronic clock in the kitchen because we always left the room's door opened. One night, I woke up suddenly. I must say that my father had a bad habit of snori...

[at] JeunaBella: That's why I used the conditionnal "if". If the ghost is residual, it didn't try to interact with Violet. If it did try, it's not residual. Residual and interaction can't go together so awakentaken made a mistake I think.

[at] awakentaken: Sorry, but I don't think so.

[at] Violet91: I'm sorry, but I totally disagree with our friend awakentaken. I believe that he doesn't use the proper terms. An intelligent spirit is aware and tries to communicate with alive people like you, but a residual ghost does not know you're there.

An intelligent spirit is usually what we see as a ghost. It is the spirit of a person who is related to a place and who tries to interact with inhabitants of the house. A residual ghost can not interact with you and doesn't know you exist. Because of an intense emotional event, it remains bound to a place and is condemned to repeat its behavior all the time. This ghost can be seen taking the same actions in the same order at regular intervals regardless of whether you are there or not.

Therefore, if that "thing" wanted to make its presence known with a cough, it can't be a residual ghost like awakentaken says. It's something else.

Thank you for your story. Are you Buddhist Kiyana? Some Buddhist people may believe that your grandmother was reincarnated to become your daughter.
In the future, when you have a daughter and she reaches her sixteenth birthday, you should be careful. Caution of what, I don't know, but be careful. Your future daughter is in danger, perhaps.
[at] notjustme: Yes, I had a strange experience in a hotel two months ago in Vietnam. I'll submit it for publication soon. It seems you are Vietnamese like me. I live in Qu├ębec province.:)

[at] lady-glow: Nobody died around the time I saw the veiled thing and I never saw this apparition again. The Chinese sword were a decorative mass produced one. I gave it to a friend and she never had "paranormal" encounters before or since my gift. You're right, my second experience seems to be a "normal" sleep paralysis.

[at] Sellene: Thank you for your suggestion.
