Nan's House on 2016-02-08

The events I am about to share took place at my randmother's house in Orillia, ON. Some of the experiences I will relate are my own, and some are things that my Nan told me. Both my grandparents were very kind, loving people. Solid Baptist background, active within their church and community, and...

This was beyond a doubt the most moving account I have read on this website. It is beautifully written and my only disappointment is that ended. I hope writing it was therapeutic for you and inspires you to continue writing - paranormal accounts or otherwise. It is a treat for the reader.
Ummmm...I am calling shenanigans here. None of this makes any kind of sense - timelines to casually saying "my demons"...*sigh*
BlackDiamondRattlesnakw,

Thank you for sharing your experiences. It is one of my favourite stories on the site. I hope that you are able to one day reunite with your friend. I am envious of your abilities, I would love to be able to have these encounters regularly and help others in the process. How blessed you are! I look forward to reading more of your submissions.

Hi TNANGEL,

Perhaps it was residual energy?
I am sorry that you and your little one were so frightened. I can certainly understand why.
Lolljo - A beautifully written account of your parents home. Did you ever ask your son to describe the man?
Thanks for sharing:)

Officially one of my favourite stories on here...;) thaks for sharing it!
Karmalei86, thank you for sharing these wonderful accounts. Your Grandmother clearly was an amazing woman and had a profound impact on your life.
These were some of my favourites...

Beautifully written and I look forward to hearing more about this apartment, your experiences, and your husband's findings!

Argette,

Boy - I would love those smells... Especially if I actually found the rolls waiting for me;) I understand that renovations can stir things up. Are you comfortable with her presence or no?

Thanks everyone for your kind words. My grandparents really were amazing people and I am not at all surprised that he waited for her. My Nan passed away at 98. She had a small heart attack that her doctor said she easily could survive - even at her age - but she turned to my uncle and said that she wanted to go home to her Lord and her husband, closed her eyes, and did just that! Now that you mention it, it is likely he was looking for something because my aunt was big on reorganizing and would often "help out" my Nan by doing that. LOL. I never did call out to him. I was worried I would get an answer!

This left me with more questions than answers as well. Having bought and sold many houses in my lifetime, buying and moving in within a week has never been possible... And I live in Canada.

I was just wondering why you were not able to communicate with the spirits yourself as you are a medium? Or why you didn't sense them upon the first time you viewed the home? I am not trying to be combative - merely trying to understand your situation.

This account made me laugh out loud and feel sad all at the same time... As a mother, I can't even begin to imagine the depth of your loss. I believe your son came back to let you know he was there with you and that you were not alone at all. Thank you for sharing...

NVina22 - I agree with Miracles. Craigslist is a dangerous way to meet people. You have children and need to be extra cautious. There are much better ways to meet people. Please delete your account!

I also agree that Tim is not who you thought he was and despite how sad it makes you, I think you really dodged a bullet there. People can be cruel and look to take advantage of those who appear to be going through a vulnerable time.

Wishing you the best.

Jodie
Jerry, thank you for another beautifully written account of your personal experiences. Always a delight to read!

Growing up in northern British Columbia, I have seen a number of inexplicable lights over the area where we lived. My Dad used to say that there is no way we are the most intelligent life forms in the universe.

Thanks again for another fascinating read!
What a beautiful account of your ex husbands passing. You are a good woman for being there for him and his family. I am glad that you were able to share in that with him and be there for him as he crossed over. Thank you for sharing this...
