Ghost Stories from Osa

Through The Wall on 2008-12-10

Greetings everyone. I feel like I know most of you, having followed your experiences for the last 5 months or so. Here is one of mine that I'd like to share and get some feedback about. This happened approx. 3 years ago. I was sound asleep, a very deep sleep. Something roused me out of my slumber...

Well my vote's on Bigfoot. Can you remember any other details like color, smell, noise, etc.?

WB, I don't hang out on this site much anymore. Too much squabbling & anger. That just jumpstarts something inside of me that,... Well I'd rather not encourage. I do stop by periodically to check on you, Troyarn, Hollyhobby & Surya. Red dog Aussie too. The Psychic site is where I am usually under another name. I'm glad you have the, um courage to stick with it here. Your stories & insights are invaluable Best, Osa

Enchanted Sisters 101, Yeah,... Hello,...it means something. You have a spirit trying to make contact. Is it a "good" spirit or an "evil" one? Probably you deep down inside know the answer to this one.
Ouija boards, unless you know what you're really doing, shouldn't be used.
Not saying I didn't experiment with them, just that staying away may save you heart-ache.
Best of luck in your other-worldly endeavours. Osa

Crystal, Why would you start a regimen of fasting when you are feeling so light-headed, tired & drained? Now is the time when you should be eating & grounding yourself!

Sorry to see you go FRAWIN. I enjoyed your stories & your wisdom. The best to you on your journey, Osa

Skinwalkers are real enough for you & your grandma, why wouldn't they be real enough for the rest of us? As a non-native, I don't know if I would have experienced all that you did. Never-the-less, I truly believe what you say happened.

Lou, when you described the loud crash in the basement, I was thinking maybe a methane gas pocket (exploded). You might be right though, a portal being forced open or slamming shut. Great story.

Okay I know your mom is bummed after spending a ridiculous amount of $ on a potato peeler. Perhaps that was the message that the spirit was trying to get across.
The stairs? Not sure. Are you sure they are all level? Guys tend to take stairs more rapidly than girls. They may have even tripped w/out paying any attention to it. Guys are like that.
Cuts on fingers & missing potato peelers? I think that might be stretching, although only you could tell if there was a connection.
In any event, these things seem minor. Tell the spirit to move on. You'll probably feel better if you take charge.

Maybe if it happens again, just repeat to yourself that this is not real. It is in my "very inventive" imagination. Try & truly believe this. If it does lessen, then most likely it was your vivid imagination, if not call on whatever heroes you can think of, religious or otherwise. Don't be afraid to give it a good scolding either, sometimes that is all they need to leave.

WB, Try the rangers, the old-time farmers. They are all salt-of-the-earth kind of people, probably your best bet, especially the old timers. They love to talk & really appreciate it when they know you are listening. They possess lots of info, sometimes they offer more than you asked. As you can see, I love old people. Best, Osa

I'm sorry for all the problems you are having. I had been unaware how much pressure you are all under. I hope the best for you. In the meantime your pond problem might be remedied with the help from a nearby Ag & Tech School or even a local university. Perhaps you could call & see if they could be of assistance. They would most likely have knowledge of the ground soils, runoff, drainage, etc., and if they have some kind of forestry program maybe they could tell you the signs to look for in the tree, see if maybe the roots are being undermined. I just thought of something, perhaps the energy of the water is encouraging the escalation of these paranormal events. (That's probably what you have been thinking all along.) Wish you the best.

Fish! I don't know what it is, but this is the second time tonight having to retype, & both times it was to respond to you. That's very odd even for me.
Here we go again. So, you're not the only one who thinks you should quit. I'm not patronizing. I'm empathizing. Six years now & the lungs are clear. No more self-loathing every morning. If it gets too bad, try the nicotine gum. It will take the edge off. Target's brand is the cheapest. You'll thank yourself & your friend in the long run. Osa

Aw Fiddle-sticks. My reply just got deleted. (In my eyes that doesn't bode well.) Sorry WB, my major concern would be root-rot. In the event of high winds they could cause the tree to fall on your house depending on the wind direction. I don't live in the same geographical area but during times of high winds following intense rains, the results are tragic. Please try & shore up your tree in the meantime. I hope that this is not paranormal but in the event that it is, it might be time to consider moving again. Best of luck to you & your family. Osa

I'm very familiar with the San Fernando Valley. I even lived in Reseda years ago. Which park was it? Chatsworth, O'Melveny? Maybe just giving the cross streets would help. Thanks.

One last thing before the final cut. I think you are extremely bright. Don't worry, you'll figure it out.

Oh man do I love Sequoia, and King's Canyon and of course Yosemite. Nothing in any of those parks can ever scare me away. They are just the ultimate, excepting of course Yellowstone! I have never stayed in a cabin, only in a tent or tent-trailer (when I was young). If I am ever fortunate enough to have a cabin there. I will relish any time spent there! For those of you that have never visited the National Parks, by all means do. They are a living legacy!

WolfReal, You want all of us to say "Go away". That way you can reconcile in your mind and to your departed friends,...that you tried. Equate it however you like.
To all other posters out there: There is a vulnerability about Wolf. He waffles, he hedges, I'm sure he imbibes (what I do not know). His answers range from concise to incoherent, but something about him keeps drawing us in. Perhaps we feel sad for him?

Let me read you WolfReal. I see a middle-aged guy, possibly even physically handicapped or unemployed. No pets, no close relatives. Wants to believe it's okay to be by yourself, yet yearns for human interaction. (How am I doing so far?) Life has not been kind but not cruel either. Likes the great outdoors, but doesn't venture there often. The paranormal has slapped you upside the head on a few occasions- enough to get your interest. Those Lucid Dreaming days of yours are gone. You can't control everything! You really fear what you already inside know. The reality you don't want to face is real.
Wolf, the real crux of the matter is everyday you have to look in the mirror at yourself. The truth is looking back at you. Deny through the EGO all you want. The messages from your departed friends is unrelenting. Value your friends & take heed. Whatever is so important, will be heard eventually.
Sorry to do this Wolf, but I cut ties with you (Snip, Snip). Can you hear that? That's me severing ties. I wish you well on your journey. I hope you find not YOUR Truth, or MY Truth, but THE TRUTH.
Osa
PS: Your moniker is not accurate. Wolves run in packs. You should have been LoneWolf.

Wolf, You have to weed through the stories. Better yet, post yours. You may actually get some good advice. Like anything worth it's while,...it takes time. That doesn't mean to leave this site, just add that site to your search.
