Nice story, but I'd recommend that you drop the use of 'was' in place of 'were' if you'd like to be taken seriously.

It is very easy for others to not care that Michael was acting like that. I've had friends who were violent and thier parents didn't have the time to deal with them and they thought it was just kids being kids.

I don't think you are making this up. Yes something like that can just go away when the spirit gets bored and moves on. It appears that it was a human ghost that possessed them. Why did you think that a possessed person wouldn't be able to walk into a church? Well anyway now you know that they can. I am glad your friends are better but I hope you have learned not to mess around with stuff like that anymore. When you give permission to 'go into' a body anything around with that intention has just been given in invitation. That really wasn't smart. I think that his eyes weren't completely black. I think that his pupils just dialated emensly like he was doing drugs

Same pattern of spiritual violence, "coralinaTAYLOR"...hm, correct me if I am wrong but Coraline was a Tim Burton movie about a girl in a magical fantasy world of creepy ghost children was it not? And Taylor... I think we can establish who it was that wrote this and for what reason.

I thought we had a good batch of stories up until this point. Well written, believable. Then I read this story, and my hopes were dashed. I like the idea of researching one's fictional stories. If you really want to dupe the public, that's the way to go.

Did you ever look into the history of the abandoned property to see if it was a juvenile home for boys? I am going to agree with bacchaegrl, and johntravis about Michael. A sudden change in behavior and personality like that would definitely gain some attention from others, especially family members. Thanks for providing the link to the video of the shadow.

Gonna have to agree with the others, if this was actually happening, Michael's parents would have taken him to a doctor.
Also, a quick suggestion. Before you write another possession story, take the time to research possession. It's considerably more difficult to end a possession than having someone walk into a church. The research might make your next work of fiction more convincing. Also, leave out the "none of this is made up" part. Nothing screams "made up" like saying it isn't.
Happy hauntings.

I was also going to say... When Michael and Sarah started acting out on the street, weren't there other people passing by?

I'm in agreeance with bacchaegirl-
Its in stories with violence like this that I wonder... Why has no one else noticed this behavior and alerted someone? Or when your friend bit you until you bled, did you go to the hospital? What did you tell them that happened? Wouldn't the police have to be involved thinking it was domestic violence? Did you try telling anyone about Michael or Sarah's odd behavior? I know that I personally would have been calling 911 if my friend turned to jelly, was non responsive and acting violent, but that's just me. I'm not sure how exactly I would react but I'm just wondering if maybe there could be some kind of medical or psychological explanation?

You said that you and your friends went to the church. Were you or your friends able to talk to the church father / priest (sorry, not sure how to say the proper name)? If so, what did s/he say? If not, I still think you and your friends should.

Agreed with bacchaegrl. If I was Michael and was having daily memory black outs for an entire month, I get myself looked at!

Um...well...this story certainly has some detail...However, if Michael was acting out like that for a whole month, could couldn't have been the only ones to observe this behavior, right? Don't you guys have parents or other friends? Was there someone outside your circle who saw Michael behaving this way? Why was no help called in? Why wasn't he taken to the emergency room by his parents? Unless you guys are the only occupants on a small island or something, someone else had to have noticed your friend's strange behavior. Why was nothing done about this? I don't understand.

Sounds scary, I wouldn't really know what to do but I would try praying that that never happens again
