Cincinnatian - I think John really is looking out for you and yours 😊. Keeping y'all safe 😉. Hey, just a piece of advice, if you haven't already thought about it and done it. Thank him, okay? ❤ I talk to mine all the time and when they do something like that, I thank them.

Thank you all for commenting. Just yesterday I had another strange thing happen but it was with me not my kid. Yesterday around 4 or so I'm getting ready to go shoot some basketball and its just me at the apartment, I go outside to grab my shorts from my trunk of my car and I went to go back in my apartment and my front door was locked... I didn't lock it. Yeah I think he was looking out for me because I'm usually the type to forget to lock it all the time 😆

That's kind of creepy, that a spirit would communicate from a hole in the wall! Everyone is talking like the ghost pinched him - but you do not say "pinched" in your story. Do you know what Johnny did that hurt your son? I wouldn't want a ghost messing with my son... But I guess you feel comfortable with it, that it was ok... Maybe you are right, I don't know. I do not mean to be confrontational per se, just sharing my thoughts.

Wow...that story gave me chills. But as someone else mentioned, it seems as if children can see spirits more readily than adults. They have not been "shaded" to be unbelievers. I liked this story for a couple of different reasons. One is that I do believe children can see a lot and many times don't even mention it because they don't know that it is anything unusual. And two; because of Fran, the woman that you told the story to and who deduced that it was her husband. I'm sure it gave her some solice and peace of mind, knowing that when we die we don't just die. Oh and lastly, I like the last sentence that seems as if this story made you a believer! Thanks for sharing and good luck to you and your son. Zeta

Thanks for talking to Fran and finding out what John was really like. I was worried there for a bit.😨
Thanks for posting your story as well. I have a daughter who's now 5, but when she couldn't talk she would blow kisses to and empty space when we were alone.

I only hope that if your son has any other experiences with John that nothing bad happens to him. I'm not saying be careful, John is a bad spirit, but if he's able to make physical contact with your son, and gets irritated again, well... I just hope that your son doesn't get hurt.

Cincinnatian- children can really scare the crap out of you can't they? I remember my son having an invisible friend that he talked to and everytime he got in trouble he would blame his invisible friend. My wife and I worried that it could have been an entity but he finally just stopped talking about him and now we cannot even remember his name. Great story!

Cincinnatian - I am so glad you asked Fran 😆. By the way, was she surprised at all that your little boy had seen John? Some people have very strange reactions when you tell them about seeing their deceased love one.

My little boy, when he was 4, saw his papaw who had been dead less than a year. His mamaw heard him tell me "Mommy, look. It's Papaw! Look, Mommy, look!" She believed my son, though. I was just wondering how Fran took the news.

That you all for reading and sharing you advice. I ended up asking Fran why would Johnny make contact, was he mean, didn't like kids or what but she told me you would always see John in the kitchen, cooking, cleaning or going to his favorite drawer that he would put his cigarettes and personal items in. He apparently didn't like it if people went in it because he hated to have things miss placed. I believe my pesky toddler was going through the drawer and Johnny wanted him out.

Cincinnatian - I don't necessarily think that the fact y'all were discussing ghosts is what made your little boy see Johnny is the hole in the wall. I believe it was going to happen anyway. Children are more prone to seeing ghosts than most adults due to the fact that most children, especially your son's age, haven't yet been told that ghosts don't exist.

As for the pinching, I can remember when I was little how my grandpa and great-uncles would pinch us kids all the time. We used to get so mad 😆. They'd call us over like they wanted to tell us a secret and then they'd pinch us. We fell for it every time LOL. I can still feel it 😆 Maybe Johnny was like my grandpa and great-uncles in life 😉. Just ornery and liked to torment little kids.

Wow, everything just tied together didn't it? I can just feel the chills you must have gotten! I wonder if your son is seeing a child form of your neighbors husband or if he is as an adult, just from the "Johnny" name. I too wonder why he would pinch your son, maybe just to get his attention?
Thanks for the story!

That's is kind of freaky but kids are more immune to the paranormal because their minds and hearts are still pure. It must of scared you to have something communicate with your son without you seeing it. Did you ever find out from your son why Johnny pinched your son? Did your neighbour experience anything after her husband passed away?
