At the rate it is going, WBC... It won't be long before the mods will be moderating one poster with 47 aliases who just likes to talk to themselves. There is no control and no filter for fraudulent personalities... At least if they ride herd over the few remaining legitimate posters on here, they at least know who they are talking to...
If the arguments and dust ups on this site were really an issue, there would be few. The truth of the matter is that controvery breeds participation, and in our reality TV society, we wouldn't want to eliminate what keeps the commenters coming back, and the advertising dollars coming in...

Take it some where else... Please don't make me have to drag Martin into this...

hmmm, well my comment may get deleted, but I'm going to say I agree with Jav, and I am actually quite shocked at mods ganging up on posters like that, it seems like bullying to me and makes me think this site is not as professional and impartial as it represents itself to be.

Nevertheless, if this story is true, if the OP is in fact a young woman tortured for 20 years by this frankly terrifying man, then I tip my hat to you for managing to hang on to your sanity, as I am pretty confident I would have been committed by now. Although... The reason you are seeing this man may be because you don't have such a tight grip on your sanity. I don't know. I'm not a psychologist. But anyway, good luck with it, hope Rook's recommendations work and from the looks of the messages before mine, even though the community is divided you are most definitely not alone with this problem, so that is something that should hopefully offer some comfort.

Miracles,
I as well spent a large portion of my life in the country... But never in a cow field. I can accept it as a geographically influenced term; what I have a hard time accepting is the acceptance, if not subordinance to this alleged entity. The personality presented by the O/P is not one of weakness or diminuativeness, yet it appears that no effort to free themselves from the entity has been attempted. That to me, is more than curious. As for my unnecessary comments, my posts are full of them by some's less subjective standards, and likely will continue to be for as long as I visit this site.
I'm about as fond of brown-nosers as I am fiction writers.

It just seemed to be a point of 'contention' and I thought a poll may help shed some 'light' into the 'common terms' used and in which parts of the country/world they are used in...

It seems many people feel this 'story' may be 'fake' because of the terminology being used for the 'field (s) ' in question so I went for a general approach out of curiosity and as a possible means of figuring things out...

Rook - I'm not sure the point of this exercise, considering people don't always tell the truth, as we've seen countless times on this site. Also, just because I say I'm from Southern Ohio and I call them "cow fields" doesn't mean that someone else from Southern Ohio calls them "cow fields." Basically, all this would show is that I am prejudiced toward believing this story, correct? When in reality, I grew up hearing "cow fields" from my grandparents, parents, etc and it stuck. Yes, I know they are called pastures. I am educated LOL, but when you are "home," sometimes you revert back to speaking like you did when you were little.

I must agree with Lou and some of the others... Cow Field doesn't 'sit right' with me.

Perhaps is a 'Local' thing but here in Texas the term we use is Pasture (s), depending on how the property is 'broken' up.

So...lets hear it... We have members for all over the place... So let's take a poll...

Please post what state/country you live in and what the local term for a 'cow field' is. I'll start it off with a simple format...

Rook/Texas/Pasture

Please feel free to add your opinion... And what's it's called in your part of the world

Lou - coming from someone who has lived in the country my whole life (except for 3 years), and also says "cow field," I didn't find it "awkward" that kelbel also says "cow field."

I left your comment because I also wanted to know if she's sought help before now; 20 years is a long time to deal with something like this. However, your last comment wasn't necessary.

Well,

Here's my penny's worth... Two cents seems like too rich of an investment on this one. Second grade means seven years old... Even in Tennessee. Twenty years is a long time to be tormented by something you do not want around you... Have you ever sought help until now?
Cow field is an awkward term for someone who lived in the country their whole life. Anyways, I have never heard of an entity hanging around for two decades without revealing its intentions...guardian, tormentor, etc. IF this is all real, I don't think that continuing to romanticize the situation is healthy... If you fear it, as you've described, you should put some effort into getting rid of it... It can't be doing your social life any good.

Oh, and 510, way to step up... Keep banging those erasers together, someday the teacher is bound to notice.

First of all,
Welcome back Surya. You are right, you have been away to long. I hope everything is fine with you.

Kelbel12,
To tell you the truth, I did have my doubts but you cleared some of them. As for getting advise, my suggestion would be to do the cleansing method by Rook. If you want more advise, then contact Rook personally. Although, I am on the fence about this experience, I will give you the benefit of the doubt and I seriously hope that you find a solution to your problem. None the same, I will keep you in my prayers and hope everything gets resolved.

kelbel12: It's weird that this guy has never talked to you. Have you ever asked this man why he follows you? Have you ever said 'Jesus Christ' infront of him? If not, you have more patience than me, because me and biker boy would be bumping heads every time I saw him.

I have a sister in Christ who has been tormented by a demon in the form of a man, and she would get countless nightmares of this man, so many that she would barely sleep because of his visits. I can tell you more about her story through email if you want. I bring this up, because your story reminds me of her encounters.

When you were in your 'party' years, did you stop studying the bible also? I say this, because not attending church regularly will not seperate us from God. That is a place of worship, designed and made by man. The Word of God and the Holy Spirit which is our 'comforter' and 'teacher' is made by God. I'm not saying church is bad either.

You have got great advice from others. I just felt the need to express what I feel from my heart and spirit. Stay strong and don't give in. Jesus is with you, who can defeat you? Stay praying and studying.

Thank you very much Miracles, Rook, Granny and Wiz.

To answer a question, I think Rook had. No, I did NOT consider him my imaginary friend. Like I said, I've never talked to him and he's only taken his sunglasses off and smiled at me once for me to see his face fully. And he never got physically close to me as a child, it wasn't until I was a teenager that that happened. I know it sounds crazy, and maybe I am, but that's the only way I can really describe it. The description I gave of him being an "attractive 30-something man" is merely my description of him now. When I was in 2nd grade, I didn't think in terms of attraction or age, I just knew he wasn't ugly and he was old but not too too old. If anything traumatic has happened to me, I've completely repressed it because I certainly do not remember anything like that. However, it was the first time I'd ever really done anything by myself (aka me riding the bus alone and walking up the driveway alone), I'd always been picked up from school by my mom or dad and I only rode the bus that one year. However, while I rode the bus, the bus driver would always forget and pass my house up and I'd end up being the last one off the bus. To me, that was a little "traumatizing" but not in the way that I think you're getting at. Also, Rook, yes, I'd love to talk with you more, you may not fully believe my story but you're quite respectful and I feel that you truly want to help (as I've read some of your other helpful comments in other threads) any way you can. Perhaps, you can offer some incite from a completely objective view. I will email the address that is in your profile this weekend.

I realize that my description could be considered somewhat vague, at least I realize that now as people have questioned me about it. I wish I could be more descriptive, but really that's the description of him. Like I said, I only once saw his eyes and smile, every other time he just has kind of a blank expression. Never doing anything, he does lean on things, like, he'll lean on the wall behind me and prop his leg up, but other than that, that's it. I'm sorry, I wish I could give more. But, as I said, he's never spoken to me, or acknowledged me other than being around and the things I stated in my story. Which is why I'm so confused. 1. I don't understand why (if it is something paranormal) he has followed me for so long without a message or anything like that. And 2. Why (if it isn't paranormal) I'm seeing and feeling this guy at all! I mean, I know I'm not crazy... But then, crazy people don't know they're crazy do they? Haha

As for the person who is accusing me of being a sexual predator: how dare you. How in the WORLD can you look at ONE story (their very first story too) from someone you've never met before, immediately start attacking that person through your comments, and after they've ignored you, you CONTINUE to harass and post SLANDEROUS, defaming comments about a person you don't know? What kind of person does that make YOU? Obviously, not great. I really hope you don't do this to everyone's stories you read because, like me, there are others on here that actually need advice, guidance and help. I went to your profile to report you, but as I'm a NEW member to this site I don't quite have it all figured out. However, when I do, you're getting reported.

Thanks to everyone again, that has given advice, encouraged and stood up for someone they don't know. I really appreciate it. =)

Interesting story although it does sound vaguely familiar. Could O/P leave perhaps a more in depth description rather than black tee, black boots etc. We all build different images in our mind so to me shaved head (so bald it was shiny), black goatee, black sunglasses, black fitted tee shirt, dark blue jeans, a black belt and black boots (almost like biker boots) could be imagined totally different by somebody else. Imagination is a powerful thing. You have dealt with this for a long time and done ok so you have to choose what course of action you would like to take. It does seem you have been harshly judged/criticised on here when all you need is advice but that goes with putting your story out, maybe try posting your story elsewhere and compare feedback. Good luck in the future.

Once again I'm having to say these words and asking myself why. Oh well, here we go y'all.

Keep the topic to advice. If you don't have any... Go somewhere else. There are over 100 new stories that have been published within the last few weeks. We've been busting our butts getting them on here. I'm sure you can find a story in the midst that you like and believe, maybe can offer some helpful advice even if it's "I believe you" or "I've been there before too."

As for this story, the unfounded accusations stop here. Because, honestly, that's what they are. There is no basis for calling this person a sexual predator. The o/p has not asked anyone other than Rook to contact her, nor has she provided an email address.

Unfortunately, just because we build a case against someone based on things we believe or evidence we think we have, doesn't make it so. I believe this is how the Salem Witch Trials began, isn't it?

scbsd,
I see this person as a predator, plain and simple. The tactics used fit the profile. The impatience. It has only been two weeks since the last one died down and here we go again. It's a desperation move, also typical of a sexual predators profile. The formula gets tweaked somewhat after being called out, but not much.
This person will never stop if they are left to do as they please. And I am not willing to turn my back to this and ignore what I feel is a dangerous pattern of behavior. Think about the last time you heard a report about one of these guys on the news, after they have committed some heinous crime. The neighbors, co-workers and friends are so shocked. They would never have imagined something like that in a million years. But there is always the one person they interview that says they knew there was something wrong with the guy, or they witnessed something odd that they failed to report because they didn't think it was important enough. That person knows they dropped the ball. Because even if what they witnessed wasn't important enough to file a report, they will always feel they should have done something more. Anything.
I've got enough regrets in my life, turning my back on a situation because it may be uncomfortable is not something I am willing to add to the pile.
Besides, being wrong isn't as bad as finding out later on you were right and did nothing.

First...

I DO NOT think the O/P is being 'hanunted (followed) ' by Anton LeVay... Founder of the Church of Satan. I do think its very curious that the O/P's description matches Mr. LaVey's appearance in the majority of the pictures you can find of him on the internet.

Second...I personally do not 'feel' this 'story' is real, however the O/P has asked a very good question and I wish to address it...

Kelbel,

You asked this...

"Will the cleansing work on something that follows me everywhere? It's definitely not attached to my house."

If someone were to focus there thoughts inwards... And visualize any negative energy being 'pushed out' from 'their core' and they also 'shield' themselves and repeat the process then it can HELP to rid an individual of possible attachments... There are cases where an exorcism or banishment may have to be preformed... Every instance is different and the measures taken are on a case by case basis.

I have a question for you... You stated this...

"I didn't like him. But I also didn't think he was real, I knew he was in my head and I was a child, who would take me seriously anyway? I didn't say anything to my mother because she would've thought I was crazy (and actually did when I finally told her at the age of 23)."

So you were a second grader with a 30 year old imaginary friend? I have 3 kids... I was a baby sitter as I grew up... And I teach a group of 5 year olds for Sunday School... Many of the children I have either Taught, Watched or the three I've raised have had imaginary friends... And every one of them was a child their age... Give or take a year... So I repeat... So you were a second grader with an imaginary friend who was in his 30's?

If this 'story' is really an 'experience' you had I have to wonder just what 'traumatic event' caused you, at that young age, to internalize the event and make it 'paranormal' rather than a real physical event that still 'haunts' you... I also think it's sad that something 'bad' may have happened to you at such a tender age and that you felt you could not tell your Mother about it... And even when you did tell her she didn't believe you. I hope you find the help you need...

Respectfully,

Rook

Javelina, thank you for answering my questions. I apologize for thinking that you were holding out on who this person might be.

I'm on your side of the fence here. I don't think that the OP is relating the observations of a seven year-old.

I don't know that I would attribute as sinister a motive to the OP's actions as you and some others here are, but if kelbel is the same person as dtiger, I have to wonder.

I wasn't going to comment here, but the other YGS members' comments kept it on the front page and so here I am.

First of all, OP, I don't believe you are who or what you say you are. I can't say why this is, other than a hunch and a nudge from the Other Side.

Secondly...

Javelina: "here are a flood of new members posting like mad in an attempt to bury any comments here."

I don't see what you are talking about. Almost everyone that has commented here is an esteemed poster, (most with at least one story up) with a posting history that goes back months, if not years.

If you mean people posting stories in order to bury this thread/your comments? I don't see that either. Most everyone who has posted a story in the past 24 hours has been here for awhile.

Javelina--"You can judge his frustration level by the down votes. The more guilty he looks, and frustrated he gets, the faster the karma points disappear."

How about you stop playing Ms Coy and come right out and say who "he" is?

#1~ There are a flood of new members posting like mad in an attempt to bury any comments here. This person has been using multiple aliases and will do whatever he can to get the spotlight shining elsewhere.
#2~ You can judge his frustration level by the down votes. The more guilty he looks, and frustrated he gets, the faster the karma points disappear. It's really quite fascinating to watch this scramble take place.

kelbel,
The inconsistencies are very interesting, to say the least.
~You are putting up a recollection from when you say you were seven years old, that describes this guy as follows:
"He looked like an attractive 30-something man, a completely shaved head (so bald it was shiny), black goatee, black sunglasses, black fitted tee shirt, dark blue jeans, a black belt and black boots (almost like biker boots). His outfit has never changed."
~Yet, you lived on a farm but you called a pasture a "cow field".

I'm sorry, but the lions share of detail that went into this description went toward his outfit and hairstyle. This is one of the things I have run across in the fake stories I have found that can be attributed to the same author. An obsession with the guys clothing and hair. He is always a very tidy guy as well. Never a slob, always well kept but definitely not of this world, and makes you feel uncomfortable in the early stages. That is something I have always found strange about these tales, that obsession with him "feeling" dangerous, but looking quite clean and fashionable.
Then there is the violence. Always that. I have learned a few things being here for the amount of time I have been. One thing is to watch for the claims of physical contact. Not the tiny, maybe it could be something else, claims. No. I'm referring to the more particular claims like this:
"I was laying on my stomach when all of a sudden something grabbed the back of my head, pulled my hair until my head came about a foot off of the pillow."
This violence is standard for the author, and is included in some similar way each time. This bothers me a lot!

After all these things you put forth as being true and factual, especially the violence, you then say this:
"I don't know his name and I don't know if he's evil or benevolent"

Excuse me? Benevolent? That one put you over the top as far as I'm concerned. No church going Christian would ever have a problem putting a label on something like that. Not even a blink before answering to just what they believe it is. So you can profess all you want, but in my book you are the same fraud who writes the others.
Suggesting he comes nearer the further away from the church you slide, is as harmful, if not more, as luring with the promise of giving her whatever she wants. With that ploy you are working on the teenaged rebel factor, hoping it will work. And I am certain it must or it wouldn't be included.
I need a break. I'll be back later. I do have more...

My brothers are 18 months apart. They went to a day care 2 days a week when they were really little, called Mother's Day Out, usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The days they went to day care are the days I rode the bus.

I'm certainly not giving up or accepting IT, however until I figure out what it is/how to get rid of it, the only thing I can do is just go about my daily life, but like one of you said, I ignore it as much as I can and he's really, for the most part, left me alone.

I shared my story BECAUSE I wanted to know if anyone had experienced anything similar to mine, or saw anyone/thing similar to what I've seen. I'm talking about him because I want/need answers. I've lived with it for roughly 20 years and I'd just like to know what it is. I've talked to a medium about it, she saw him, described him in complete detail before I could say anything. She told me that it was benevolent as far as she could tell, but she wasn't sure why he was attached to me. For the people questioning why I'm talking about him now, or why the "tone" of my story is too matter of fact for some people: I'm simply telling my story. I'm the one who's had to live with it, I'm the one who experienced it, so I can tell it how I want to. I've simply tried to remove myself from that part of my life because, and you can believe me or not, every time I tell it or think about it I get weird feelings that I don't particularly like.

To the person who was confused on my younger years and wondering why I didn't think the man following me wasn't creepy: I did think he was creepy. I didn't like him. But I also didn't think he was real, I knew he was in my head and I was a child, who would take me seriously anyway? I didn't say anything to my mother because she would've thought I was crazy (and actually did when I finally told her at the age of 23). I didn't consider it a paranormal experience because, let's face it, I was a CHILD. I didn't know what was going on and nothing other than the weird feeling happened until I was a teenager. And to be very honest, I didn't really consider it true paranormal experience until you said something. Haha.

To the ones questioning the God aspect: Yes. I am a Christian. I believe in God very much. Why would it be funny or odd that as soon as I said "God" my head fell back down on the pillow? Why would it be weird that when I was "backsliding" (as Christians call it) the experiences would get worse? If I were dealing with demons wouldn't it make perfect sense (and I truly believe I was)?

To the dude who thinks I'm a man in my 50s or 60s: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's funny. No, I'm positive that I don't have a penis and I really hope I'm not in my 50s or 60s, otherwise I'd be really upset that I'd missed over half of my life! As for the rude words you said, No. I'm not that last "p" word, as you so graciously claimed. I'm not apologizing for my own real experiences.

To the ones who think my story is fake. It's no skin off my back if you don't believe me. You're not offending me in the least. You have your own opinion. I know what happened, I lived it. However, I can assure you that everything I've written is 100% true. And my "style" of writing that people have commented on, thank you. I'm glad that I can tell my story well.

To the ones who think I took bits and pieces of other stories and made my own: No. That's stupid. The fact that you think that is, let's be honest, ignorant. Paranormal experiences are just like any other experience in life. Some people experience similar things. The fact that you can't see that is sad and shows that the only reason you're on this site is to try and discredit every experience other people have had. If you're a skeptic, fine. But don't belittle and be disrespectful about it.

Thank you everyone who has put words of encouragement and advice. Will the cleansing work on something that follows me everywhere? It's definitely not attached to my house.

OK, I'm a bit confused. Just read a few comments and you guys are saying this story is fake and has been written before. Sorry, it's just that I'm new to this site and I would like to know if there is someone going around writing fake stories time and time again. Thanks to anyone who can help. ๐Ÿ˜•

Oh my word! Rook, are you serious? Yes; I guess you are!
As serious as a heart attack!
Personally, I have never heard of this guy before, but the description does fit. Creepy!

Nice one Rook!

I figured it out... I know who looks like... Well this...

"He looked like an attractive 30-something man, a completely shaved head (so bald it was shiny), black goatee, black sunglasses, black fitted tee shirt, dark blue jeans, a black belt and black boots (almost like biker boots)."

Or am I crazy?

I've gone back and read this now a 'few' times and something is not 'right' about it... And after realizing 'who' might be described in this 'story' I just can not give it any credit.

Respectfully,

Rook

Fergie and triden,
You know what? You ARE right! I was going through both of them and started noticing the familiarity of these descriptions. That wasn't even in my assessment. Nice call guys!

Ok, I read that story now. I haven't been a teenager in 9 years, given I am 28 now. But the grammar used in that story, the usage of specific words (sternum) and feelings such as being uncomfortable in a bathing suit and getting "pissed off" if guys dismiss you, none of that points to a 13-year old girl. Or I was more a tomboy than a girly girl? I was 16 when I really became aware of boys, and started worrying about body image. The writing is way too mature...

Fergie,
That's true. It seems this person got lazy along the way and simply started taking from other stories. Although much of it can be attributed to other stories written by him, I do see where some things came from someplace else. That description of the guy has been done before, but I can't recall which story that came from. Good catch Fergie.

Jav,
You have 'been around' a lot longer than I, so you have more experience. My memory also tends to 'fuzz over' sometimes. Lol. I understand what you are telling me. I also see a 'pattern' here. It was just the fact that I am positive that I have read this self-same 'description' applied in another post - I thought it may have been by the same author!

Triden07,
I agree, there do seem to be 'bits and pieces' from other stories incorporated into this one. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am also on the fence about this 'story'!

Triden,
You are correct. Bits and pieces. Because he has written so many of them he now just mashes them together, takes out what he needs and tosses it in the pile.

Also, the style of the writing is the same. Follow what I said in my previous post and compare the two stories for writing style. You will notice the little things that show it was not a woman/teenaged girl/female who wrote it, but more of what a guy like this thinks she would be like.
The last one was pretty bad. Everyone knew it wasn't written by a 13 year old girl. It does show.

I'm sorry if this sounds accusatory, but this story seems to contain bits and pieces of other stories I read here lately. Almost like the writer sampled other posters stories...
I live in a house with benevolent spirits, and it still sometimes is extremely unnerving to feel their presences around me. And that's when I know that they won't hurt me, i'm still jumpy and scared most of the time. Seeming cavalier about a thing that follows you around to that extent, makes it feel like a lot that was said is fabricated. Drawing on my own experiences, there is now a malevolent spirit in my house, and even though I know I am protected, it still has the power to feed off of me because I am absolutely terrified of this thing just looking at me.

I'm on the fence about this story...

Fergie,
It isn't the guy in the story, it is the guy who wrote it. These have floated to the top here and there, but always have had pretty much the same formula. After the last one he had to tweak that formula because it had become too obvious. But they are all written by one person. This person has a thing about writing the story in a female voice. That is one of the first things that always grabs me. He also has at least one point where the female is either threatened or physically harmed. With this one it was the hair being pulled so hard it lifted her off the bed (sick guy, this one). There will be an attempt to have it sound almost like one of those old "Afterschool Specials". Afterall, it is no fun harming a female if you get caught because of too much roughness. The female character will end the drama saying she is no longer freaked out, that she is happy and kind of has feelings for the guy.
It's sick.

Ummmmm Jav,

I did get a strong feeling of deja vu, when I first read this story... Correct me, if I am wrong. The whole description of the guy, dressed all in black, boots and all! I thought I was going crazy; or psychic?

I don't know if I am on the same page as you Jav, but there is something 'not quite right' here! ๐Ÿ˜•

Just compare this one to the last one, "My Companion Alex". Removing what we said were the obvious signs of fakery has had a reverse effect. It made this one easier to spot.

kelbel,
What a fascinating tale of mystery and intrigue you have woven here. I feel I have heard this all before though... Can't say where or when, but this does seem like a rerun... OH! I know what it is now! It's YOU I have read before, not the story. And not just once either. You are the prolific one aren't you? Spewing out these stories like they were prewritten and then tweaking just a bit in order to keep from drawing the 'wrong' kind of attention (nudge, nudge). Goodness knows you are persistent and prolific. All the 'P' words. How about phony? I'll keep the other one to myself, but I am certain you know what I mean anyway. ๐Ÿ˜‰
You see, you can change the name, the age, the circumstances, and switch from the slightly naughty girl to the church going wholesome thing we see in this little drama, but you can't quite change your style. Oh but she does go bad for a while and does some partying and "having fun" too. Even plays with that nasty old Ouija Board (somebody save this child!) before deciding it simply wasn't for her.
Well, I'll give you this, you removed the "protector" persona from the guy. But you have one problem that blazes sickly bright and stomach wrenchingly clear... You are not a female at all. Nor are you young. Your attempts at this gender are really bad man. My guess is you are in your 50's or 60's. Definitely no younger than that. Completely out of touch with the rest of society, that's a no-brainer. Constantly trying to disguise yourself as a girl is not working dear, you have no frame of reference in this department except for what you read on line and in Teen magazines. And you really wish you could punch me in the face right now.
Are you uncomfortable yet? I doubt it. You believe with all your heart (and I'm pushing it there) that you are superior to the rest of the members here. After all, look at the stories you have gotten away with in the past.
No, you didn't do anything clever at all. But I did.
You need to stop this nonsense. You have a sameness in all of your stories and names that cannot be blamed on coincidence any longer. There are simply too many of these to choose from and hold up to the light for comparison shopping.
I can keep this up as long as you can.
Oh you can call me names and make accusations and suggestions pertaining to my mental state, but you won't get anywhere with that. Too many people will be able to see what I see and they won't put up with you either. But we all know you will try, you can't help it. And you will just die if you don't get the last word. You feel you're entitled.
You are not. What you are is busted. Get used to it.

Personally, I don't believe in demons. Perhaps you should consult with a reputable medium or paranormal group to find out who this might be and whether he is potentially harmful, which it sounds like he might be based on the hair-pulling incident. Frankly, a 30-something skinhead who likes to follow around little kids makes my creep-dar go off big time. I would not resign myself to being stuck with this guy forever. Take control, try Rook's shielding method and seek help if necessary. And STAY AWAY from the Ouija board!

Please explain why you would continue to pursue supernatural activities- such as the Ouija board after experiencing even ONE of these events? This guy would be scary if human, let alone "demonic." I admit I am very sceptical because my mother and her brother specialized in exorcisms when I was a child. I witnessed several people who were supposedly possessed (or mentally ill, I still don't know) and people who experienced seeing demonic beings. ALL of them were scared out of their minds and sought help immediately. I hate to be rude, but these accounts are very vivid and the tone is too nonchalant.

This is a very touchy subject. I do not find it amusing to play with the demonic in any way. And these experiences are way beyond belief. People I have known who have had one or two experiences were reduced to seeking spiritual or mental help.

So for someone to say "I can always feel his presence especially if I talk about him" why the heck are you talking about him? I have seen peoples lives ruined and people admitted to institutions because of demonic spirts/mental issues. However, I have also seen people seeking attention who claim to be "chosen" by spirits and have numerous colorful accounts which get more dramatic as time goes by. I hope you are neither and that your story is fiction.

Sorry to offend, but I am not amused.

I enjoyed reading your story. I love the way you write. I have been through similar experiences. Its not easy and it will never be, but I have learned to ignore its presence and it works, he hasnt been as constant as he use to be, he barely bothers me anymore.

Just don't give in, ignore it, don't acknowledge his presence and give him no attention. He will eventually stop. Atleast I hope so.

I would just like to say that you should not give in to the fact that he will always be there because that is an invitation to a demon. You must reject his presence and use rook's home Cleansing/Shielding to keep it away. Keep in mind that Demons live off of peoples pain, misery, and fear fight it and let it starve.

Thanks for your story, it is very interesting and well-written. Some of it seems a little cliche', but I just assume that that is your writing style.
There is one part I do have a question about: (call it nit-picking if you want) but you say when you were in 2nd grade you had 2 brothers that were "6 or 7 years younger than you". My thought was that, in 2nd grade you were probably about 8 years old. So they must have been babies? Are they twins? It's just a question I had.
Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed reading it.

I posted my 'cleansing/shielding' method because it was mentioned, I then read this 'story' and I'm not sure what to make of it.

First: You stated: "Since then, he comes and goes but I can always feel his presence especially if I talk about him. I don't know his name and I don't know if he's evil or benevolent, but I've just come to terms with the fact that he will always be there and I'll always have to deal with him."

Then at the end you say:

"My experiences are very real and were very scary when they happened. Now, I look back on them with a kind of awe because if I had any doubt about the supernatural before, I definitely don't now."

So which is it? Do you have to always 'deal with him' or are these experiences in the past so that you look back on them?

I enjoy your writing style and your description...

"He looked like an attractive 30-something man, a completely shaved head (so bald it was shiny), black goatee, black sunglasses, black fitted tee shirt, dark blue jeans, a black belt and black boots (almost like biker boots)."

Reminds me of someone I'd talk to at the Goth club I attended in Massachusetts.

Respectfully,

Rook

Recipe for a Home Cleansing/Shielding... (allow for two or 3 days to complete)

Day one: Open all curtains window and doors with screens installed, let fresh air and sunshine into the home. Have all closets, cabinets and other 'dark spaces' open so that as much natural light as possible can enter those spaces. After 2-3 hours take a broom and 'sweep' out each room (this is symbolic and you do not have to really sweep) focus your thoughts on sweeping (pushing) out all negative energies / entities /thoughts. Close home up after completing each room of your home... Please do not forget your garage if you have one. (Optional) Light incense (sandalwood or Dragons-blood works well for me) and let aroma fill the home, and/or play a tape that contains your favorite Church/Positive, Upbeat (songs that give you good thoughts) songs before you begin sweeping.

Day two (or three): Once again open all curtains, windows and doors. Take a White candle (Optional) to the center most point of the home, sit on the floor and place candle in front of you. Light the candle (visualize a white ball of light) and then focus on the flame... Visualize the flame (white light) filled with positive thoughts, energy. (Say a prayer at this time if you so desire... Ask for cleansing positive energy to fill the candles flame/white light). Hold this 'image' in your mind and then visualize the flame (light) slowly expanding outward, visualize it filling the room your in, every corner and 'dark space'. Continue to visualize it expanding...it's outer edges pushing away (burning away) any and all negative energies/entities out and away from each room in your home. Once you have visualized this flame (light) filling your entire home, picture it expanding to your property lines. Hold this image in your mind for a few moments then visualize 'anchoring' this flame (light) where you are sitting which is the center most point of your home. Once you have done this. Take a deep breath, relax a few moments and then blow out the candle. (If you didn't use a candle just let yourself relax a moment or two.) "

Now you can create a shield for yourself using the 'home shield' technique but instead of focusing on your home visualize the 'flame' simply surrounding you instead of your home... Best time to do this is after a nice shower using a rosemary scented soap (rosemary is good for purification and protection.)

Respectfully,

Rook

kelbel - there was a point when reading stories on this site that I promised myself I wouldn't comment on Ouija board stories anymore, but I'm breaking that promise.

Something about your story haunts me. I think it's the sadness I felt when I read that you have "come to terms with the fact that he will always be there" and will "always have to deal with him." No one should EVER have to accept a situation like this and have to deal with it.

If you accept it, you are giving in to him and his hold over you. What kind of life are you going to have, kelbel? This is no different that being bound to a living, breathing partner who controls your every move.

I'm sorry...okay, advice. I don't have Rook's "Recipe for a Home Cleansing" at hand, but I'm sure several people do, if Rook's not on right now. I highly recommend you try it. If it doesn't work the first time, please try it again.

Good luck and don't give up. โค
