Mamachong, trusted_soul: I am Christian aswell. When my twins were born, the movie "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" had been out for a while. Now, given that things like that have a very firm footing in reality, I make a point not to watch it. I feel like I am inviting trouble into my home. Anyways, my ex husband told me one night that I should see what happens in that movie, and he promised that he would be up with me to watch it. So, for whatever dumb reason, I caved. 20 minutes into the movie, he was fast asleep, and I was terrified, so I immediately switched the TV to another station. But, for the next month, I woke up every night at 3AM, scared witless. Nothing happened, but the fact that I woke at that time exactly every day for a month, after just watching a few minutes of footage from a movie I knew down to my soul I shouldn't, was unnerving enough in itself.

I agree wholeheartedly with mamachong, angels would not boast about having powers and certainly would not cause you to feel uncomfortable or scared. They are bringers of peace and they do not get angry if spoken about. If they ever use a human being to channel healing through, that person would be open to spreading the gospel of God, not hiding what they did behind fear and deceipt.

Demons and anything malevolent, feed on fear and panic. Trust me, I have just had an experience with a malevolent spirit in my house, waiting to submit my story as soon as they open again, and the thing that subdued this particular spirit, was to open a Bible to Psalm 91 (scripture about protection in the name of God) and to tell it that it was uninvited and not welcome in my home. It didn't drive it off completely, but it's strength was depleted. Demons. Ofcourse, are a much tougher nut to crack.

I have never been bought up into any religion, but thank you for your help, I also have heard from others recently that demons that give us bad dreams are the Djinn demon have you heard of these?

I don't know what your religion is but I am a christian and this is what I believe. Three am is supposed to be the witching hour of demons. It is said by catholics, that 3am is a mockery to Jesus Christ who died at 3pm. Also I believe those are demons bothering you, not angels. Angels would not profess to have powers, they would be humble and proclaim god with all the powers. I have been harrassed by demons in my dreams too. My belief is to tell them in Jesus name to go back to where they came from. Like I said, I don't know what you belief in, this is just a suggestion.
