moonstar: Those don't look like "fresh" bruises.

They seem to be at least a few days old.

Oh my gosh! I just woke up a couple hours ago (I'm sick, I know its 1 o clock) and I have these weird bruises on my arm that look a lot like someone grabbed me is there anyway to take pictures and add it to this page? I'm really starting to freak out! It hasn't messed with me for a while.

I was adopted by my grandparents, my real mother neglected us and our father was a bad guy. My grandparents took us all in, but my mother (birth) became a better person and when I was ten they left to live with my mom. I had practically lived my whole life with my grandmother I agreed to be adopted, now she is my real mother in my heart. (That explains that) I'm sorry I gave this story "too much detail" I did have strait A's in English and Honors. I was born in October therefore I was held back a year (School started in September and you had to be a specific age) I didn't want to talk about my father because it is a sensitive subject for me. My sisters also, but from what my grandmother (mother of my real father) said is he would cast spells and stuff like that, and he had some kind of demonic book. I am still a senior sadly because I failed Kindergarten and actually ill be 19 this year! Since it hasn't been my birthday yet. Did I miss anything? I'm trying not to sound like I'm being rude, sorry if I do, I'm mostly defending myself. Oh, I almost forgot, once again I said this three times already, 1# I don't know this Mailman thing, I haven't read it. I wrote this story LITERALLY! Right when I joined, you will see the date I joined and the date this was written in the same. That also revokes that theory, Johnny Cash, you guys will probably kill me when I say I have no clue who that is, I mean I've heard of him isn't a some kind of singer?

So last night, I was thinking and I remembered something that could possibly explain your mother seeing him too. Well, actually two somethings.
1) Two friends were stopped at a red light and saw me standing on the corner. They waved and I waved back. The next day one of them was apologizing for not offering me a ride. Problem - I wasn't even in town the day before, so it wasn't me they thought they saw. Yet they both thought they had.
2) This happened to me. I was at a local gas station and saw my brother, standing at the pop machine. He looked at me and smiled. We had not seen each other in years, and I ran up to him thinking he had come home, only to find this wasn't my brother at all just someone every similiar in looks. It was kindof embarressing.
My point: It is possible that your mom and you saw someone who bore a striking resemblence to the being scaring you. The finger to his lips, as if sharing a secret; some people have that habit when thinking of something.

Ok Moonstar4807, Let me take a deep breath and try to take your story at face value. If we are going by the story, that means you are 18 now, and a legal adult. You are not all That young. (when you & your mom saw the figure, you said it was your 17th b-day, and that a year has gone by. Except, that was in October, so it's more than a year? You would actually be 19 then, correct? Out of school, and either in college or working, or both.

If you were abused, then I agree with Sceptic-Ari and valkricry that you need to talk to a therapist, first and foremost. You say that all they did was treat you for depression- did you get a 2nd opinion? At what age were you adopted? How long did you try going to the therapist? Are you currently on any medications? How long have you lived in your current house? More "regular" information such as this, would have received a better reception.

Any church you go to will have clergy - just go there, and talk to the priest/minister/pastor (depends on what religion you choose).

I will freely admit that both Sceptic-Ari and Valkricry are much gentler, much more accomodating souls than I. I certainly try to have their backs, and I would defend them in any scenario. You would do well to answer their questions & listen to their advice as well as the advice of the other posters here.

With this tale however, it is my opinion that if you truly wanted help or were frightened, you would not have used such overly descriptive language, and would have broken each account down into separate stories, event-by-event. This honestly sounds like a writing assignment or a rough teen-movie draft.

"You can't be here," he said strangely, and I narrowed my eyes. "How come?"

When you post a story on a site such as this, you are by default, opening yourself up to what others think, whether you like their reactions or not. You have posted this story, and I am afraid that I cannot apologize for my beliefs or my reaction... My gut says this elaborate storyline is false. With your writing style, you have obviously tried to make this sound as dramatic as possible. If you have read submissions by others, you have seen that this is not a place for flowery storytelling, but for clearly-written accounts. This tale is too similar to the "Shadow or The Mailman" subscription for me to take seriously. If you are indeed in need of help, were abused, and do not know what to do, then you need to speak with your mother (who I have gathered you are close to, if I am going by your story), and I hope she directs you to the proper, professional channels. If you are looking for a cleansing, Rookdygin has his Method posted on his page. Good Luck to you. I myself may be too much of a skeptic to believe your story, (do not be offended - you are not the first or only one, and I'm sure you won't be the last one, either.) but I do hope you find the help you need.

moonstar,

If you are referring to my comment from a few minutes ago I stated 'subconscious' not 'imagination nor imaginary' there is a very, very BIG difference.

Speaking of differences...

Dad and his Brother were practicing witches? Or did they 'mess' around with some spells, the occult?

This 'SMALL DETAIL' as well as the 'fact' that...

" My sisters told me that they also had nightmare of the same guy, I don't know if they were just saying that or being serious?"

Are DETAILS that may have convinced people of the validity of your 'experience'...Unfortunately they now seem an 'afterthought' and actually make me wonder...

Only you can 'know for sure' about your sisters... Wait didn't you say you were adopted? So are you speaking of your 'birth family' or your adoptive family?

By the Pricking of my Thumbs...

Respectfully,

Rook

Moonstruck,
Are your sisters older or younger than you? If he has 'moved on' from them then odds are he will you too.
Yeah, your Mom seeing him too is just freaky... And you seem 100% sure it was the same guy. Dang, girl, I wish I had a nice neat little explination for you, but I don't. Not for that. Anyone with ideas on that?

Again, if it is my so called imagination, why-did-my-mom-see-it? That's what I don't think you all understand? And once again I was 14 when this happened, so its impossible that its related. Further more, something I didn't mention, but I didn't want to because it had nothing to do with me, my uncle used to do witch craft with my father before me and my sisters were born. My sisters told me that they also had nightmare of the same guy, I don't know if they were just saying that or being serious? (18) I can't ignore that my mother saw it though... Because she DID and that's what freaks me out to this day. There's much more to the story that I am leaving out because I knew people wouldn't believe me. Why make a website for people to share their stories and just instantly down them? I hope these are valid points because AGAIN! I keep saying it over and over again.

Moonstar, clergy refers to a priest, minister, reverend or rabbi connected with a church/ temple. If you attend a church, then you might speak to someone there. But since you asked how to contact a member of the clergy, I gather you have no 'home' church. Since you say you've prayed to God, I'm going to assume you are Christian? The Catholics seem most tolerant of the paranormal, so you might try contacting a local church and asking to speak with a priest. I would add this, what ever religion YOU associated yourself with would be the one to start with.
As Ari pointed out those traumas we deal with in childhood deeply effect our psychies. If you don't like a particular 'shrink' or therapist, try another until you hit a 'connection'.
I do want you to understand that you weren't being made fun of for being in Florida, Rook was just wondering if you and the other we were comparing your style to were from the same state. Coincidently, that same person deleted their account, roughly the same time you opened yours.

Bluewindoman what happens is that no one ever takes anyone serious until a sudden incident happens or even death. Then after is when everyone wants to get serious it's just that ignorance has taken over the world so bad it's ridiculous.

moonstar,

First thank you for returning. Second Thank you for saying you wrote out your experience a 'few' times before posting it... It helps explain why its so 'clear' and why the details sound 'movieish'.

Valkricry has made an interesting point.

If I work out the 'age' thing correctly from your 'experience' until the present you are 18/19? I'd say that is hardly 'practically being a kid' as you have stated. Anyway...

If we take the details from your experience, add them to some of the information you have just shared with us a couple of conclusions can be drawn...

1) Because of you history you are 'looking for attention' to make up for all the 'bad times/experiences from your past'.

2) This 'man in black' is a manifestation generated by your subconscious, because of your history... You subconsciously 'generate him' when you feel yourself getting to close to somebody whom your 'abuser' would not have approved of... The reason its not so bad with you new 'boyfriend' is becasue the 'energy' generated 'by you' is not as 'strong' as when you were younger... During Puberty, when your body was generating 'large amounts of energy' this manifestation was stronger. Time, True Love and seeing someone concerning your past... Or perhaps just sharing your 'past' with your current boyfriend MAY go a LONG WAY towards you moving past these 'manifestations' and being able to live 'peacefully'.

3) Somehow this is a 'real spirit'...drawn to you as your innocence as a child and attached to you becasue of the 'amount' of energy you began to generate as you entered Puberty. It wanted all of this 'energy' for itself so it 'attacked' your first boyfriend and now has 'visited' your new 'loves' dreams. However with the energy from you decreasing as Puberty comes t an end this 'spirit' no longer has the strength to do much more than this and once it 'knows' the 'energy' from you has truly 'run out' it will 'go away' for good.

It is my opinion, based on EVERYTHING you have shared with us that NUMBER 2 is the most likely of these three options.

Respectfully,

Rook

Sci person (Too lazy to scroll back up) I looked into therapy they found that I'm depressed, but that's it. And the things happened to me when I was 14, so that rules it out a little though it sure as heck didn't help. Lol, and truthfully I didn't believe anything myself and maybe my ex was being a jerk, and the nightmare just were so real I thought I was waking up to them, however I can't ignore the fact that I saw him in the day time, and so did my mom...? What about that? And maybe everyone can be a little nicer about their comments, I mean my mom taught me manners, and talking to a young lady like that is not appropriate (not accusing you two 😊)

Dear moonstar4807,

Since I have already explained the cause behind our stance in one of the posts on this page, I hope it needs no repeating. Lets take your story at face value and let's consider it to be a truthful account.
Now,you say in your comments,"I'm practically a kid, adopted, abused, and more that I won't share with rude people who make fun of someone who justs wants help!",and I am really sorry that you had to go through all that in your childhood, that could have been your happy years.
I ask you one question; You said you would not share with us rude people, but have you had the opportunity to share them with anyone, esp anyone professional? Since you are a kid, I must tell you how much these memories and experiences of abuse and torment affect our psyche!
Do not talk to us, but please go and talk to a counselor or a psychiatrist.
No.I am not calling you a loony or crazy. Everything I say to you is our concern for you, based on your comments. I hope my friends will back me up on this.

Do reply

Regards

Actually what I had asked is if anyone else had experienced waking up from a nightmare with their eyes closed as mine pop open. Quite often when I first wakeup my eyes might remain closed for a bit, but I have never experienced it from a nightmare. I also stated, "Now, just because I haven't experianced it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen, so I'm curious as to whether anyone, aside from the OP, has experienced this?" A simple, at large question.
You have issues, I get that. Can this being hurt you? Logic says if he is hurting your boyfriends, then yes, he can hurt you too. Will it hurt you? Possibly, no one can be 100% sure on that. Since you are becoming sick, I would start out by seeing a doctor - the illness may not be related. I would then talk with a member of the clergy and tell them the entire story. Leave nothing out and see what advise they can give you. On an unrelated note: since you have been abused, etcera (you hinted at more than that) if you are seeing a therapist for those traumas, you might confine in them. Most people have very good relationships with their therapist, and he/she might be able to give you some guidance.

and yes by the way you can wake up with your eyes closed, look it up! The whispering was in my head and in my ex's head. That's probably why, and how can you stereotype me as just a teen wanting to get attention? Seriously you don't know me enough to say I'm just doing that. 😢

To those who are trying to help... Can it hurt me? Will it hurt me? Why is it doing this to me, I'm a good girl, I'm a virgin, I'm a Christian! I pray against it and it doesn't go away! I'm also getting sick... I don't know if maybe its just because of my genes or something or its doing this to me? I hope not... Ok to everyone who doesn't believe me, believe what you wish, I'm only sharing my experiences, MINE not yours. You don't have to be rude, Yes I use words well. Yes it sounds like a story line, but I wrote it out over and over because I thought I WAS GOING CRAZY. But my mother saw it. I had my heart torn out by my first love. And for now nothing else has happened. Thank you for those who are sticking up for me. The title was named after what he looked like to me and what I told my mother I called it.? I didn't steal this story from anyone? If you look at the day I joined, its the same freaking day and same hour I wrote this? Think about it. I AM SCARED! Literally terrified. Why would I make things up? I'm practically a kid, adopted, abused, and more that I won't share with rude people who make fun of someone who justs wants help!

Pjod - As a fan of the true Man in Black (Johnnie Cash) since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, I too am slightly offended by the chosen title of this 'story.'

I would also like to thank all those commenters/poster who have the balls to call a spade a spade when it comes to stories as this one. I too thought the storyline sounded very familiar and not just a little hokey.

Hi Rook, thank you for understanding my need for an emergency deployment 😆 the Doc is always on duty... Poor Puff works a crazy schedule...I'm glad you didn't mind the secondary staff taking it out for a spin!

Your evaluation skills of these stories are amazing...yes, I can totally see where you are coming from, and in fact, I had a comment about the first story that was regarding the OP yelling, but questioning why nobody came to her aid...well, here in this story, we conveniently have the answer -ah, it was because no one heard. The constant "you are mine" in this story, vs the "I want you" in the other was also a big tip-off...along with the movie-script plot line, of course!

It just really irks me that there are people out there who really need a place to relate their experiences - people who truly do need help or even just desperately need to hear alternate possible explanations and that they're not crazy, and hear what others think, from a group of people who will not call them "Nuts", and then other people waste the community's time with made-up tales... Its insulting to anyone who actually had the unexplainable happen, and, in my mind, its kind of like the people who repeatedly call 911 for kicks & giggles. I think they deserve to be carted away... And yes, that was the longest run-on sentence ever. But, it came from the heart. 😊

Look he wants what every other man want from woman.
I am sorry mods but I have to explain.
See rook the thing is they do not want to hurt her but to make her his woman. You get that.
If someone gets in between than he (djin) will hurt or possibly kill him but not the girl. Sure he will touch and do stuff but because he likes her.

demonicsheikh,

Uhhhh...what?

"The man is black is djin.
He doesn't want to hurt you and he likes you. Think of him as you stalker. He likes you and doesn't like anyone around you."

How does 'him' being a Stalker and not wanting anyone around the O/P 'not hurting them'?

The definition of a Stalker is...

Stalk (er): Trouble somebody steadily and malevolently; harass somebody persistently.

These are not 'GOOD THINGS'...

How can you say this 'djinn', as you put it, doesn't want to hurt the O/P and call it a Stalker 'in the same breath'?

So guys and gals,

Do we have enough votes for the motion to call it what it seems to be? Or do we wait for more opinions since we find one believer here?

Let us make this clear to all the disapproving people who think we are ganging up on one person who is the victim of an ongoing paranormal attack:

There are some people who do it to get a kick, some who do it to ridicule others, some come to troll, some do it just to test their writing prowess and some who do it just to laugh at the comments, but there are people who write made up accounts or fictional tales of paranormal encounters on this site. So we try to keep the authentic stories and debunk the others, we try. Its a trial and error method. All that the O/P has to do is come back here and debunk our theories successfully. We are generally reasonable people.

Rook, the OP from the other story claimed Indiana.
Question for all: I have never experienced "waking up from a nightmare with my eyes still closed", mine always fly open. Now, just because I haven't experianced it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen, so I'm curious as to whether anyone, aside from the OP, has experienced this?
At Ari: Well, the sentence structure and wording is very similiar as well as the 'plot'. Even the same type of grammatical errors. Does make one wonder.

WishfulNull,

The 'Late Night Troll Patrol' (LNTP) can always use a 'Doctor' on the Bus... It doesn't always have to be the driver (Puff Bayram) who deploys it.

As far as this 'experience' is concerned I'll list the reasons I feel you done good!

First: The imaginary friend that 'goes away' and has now returned...

Second: "I screamed but no one heard me, the man crawled onto my bed but I felt nothing, no pressure, then he smiled white teeth and whispered. "You are mine." " Two things in one statement... No one heard the scream and the 'spirit' said 'You are Mine'.

Take the first and it to the second and it sounds like a 'plot line' for a creative writing project for high school.

Third: The boy friend being attacked. Now its beginning to sound like a movie script.

So 'Doc' deploy the Blankie if you see fit. I see the O/P here is from Florida, where was the O/P from the last time we deployed the Blankie... Was it Florida?

Respectfully,

Rook
