Seraphina, 😳I am humbled by your words. I don't know what to say, except "Thank you!"

If I can bring comfort or enlightenment to anyone, I am happy. 😐

Thank you for your kind words, you have made my day!

Shady4u, I'm sorry for your tears, but at least I did post a warning, this time.

I agree, Shenay is lucky to have this gift. Many children are left without a mother, never to see them again. My heart aches for them!

Thank you for reading, I am glad that you enjoyed my narration. 😊

Hi Fergie - This is such an amazing story. One of my nephews can sense spirits but unlike shenay's experience, his is not as colorful.

One thing at least is for sure, shenay's mommy continues to look after her even in the afterlife.

You have beautiful experiences, Thank you for sharing them.

Fergie: Your accounts always amaze me, what a gift Shenay possesses, as Granny also mentioned you know that she do well with the love and support of her physical and spiritual family. Thank you for sharing this with us all here.😊

Hey there! I didn't have a dry eye either while reading your story. LOL. Really good to know how your grand daughter is really lucky to have this gift and that she could see her mother. Lucky indeed. Great story, really touching.

Dragonfly, you honour me with your first post. Thank you! 😊

I am so sorry that people didn't believe you... Have things changed at all? Do they believe you now? I really hope so! I hope you were able to prove them wrong.

Well Dragonfly, you certainly didn't step on MY toes, and I am sure, no one else will complain.

Good luck for the future, writing posts becomes easier; I know, the first time for me, I was nervous too.

But in the end it all ways did. Just like I would tel them. I was always the odd one out. But I'm very happy to see that the hole family understands her and is there to help her. She will need it for when she is older. (Ps its my first time that I'm commenting on someon's storie. I'm sorry if step on someone's toe's) hope you have lovely night;-)

VSAngels, thank you for reading.

I know our daughter Angel is looking out for her child. To me, it's not scary at all; I would expect nothing less from our daughter.

I too, am glad that Shenay has not seen anything scary. I can only hope that it never happens.

Fergie! How sweet. I love this! Some children of the sixth sense we have here. I think that they have gifts and feel very blessed that they're not seeing demons or anything scary. Her mother just sticks around. That's beautiful and means she's watching over her! This is creepy to some but really nothing to worry about. Stay happy and don't be scared. ❀

Sonty,

Thank you for reading.

Yes Shenay is a lucky girl to see her Mommy around still. They had, and still have it seems, an incredibly tight bond. Angel lived and breathed for that child. I don't think that she is going to let go in a hurry.

Thank you for the blessing for my grandchild. 😊

Val, I guess you are right! Shen still hasn't discovered that she is 'special'. I have never made a 'fuss' when she mentioned these things, so maybe she thinks that everyone is so accepting, or that it isn't unusual?

I am so sorry that you were made to feel that there was something wrong with you. But yes, in the past, it was for your own protection. These days, a lot of people are more open-minded. Thank heavens for that!

Surprise lady-glow! Maybe you are an empath after all?

Thank you for your condolences.

WishfulNull, Thank you. We are still a little in awe of Shenay's gift, but accept it with no qualms now. In the beginning, we had her to a grief councilor (child psychologist) in case it was just a 'defense mechanism' kicking in... She was given a 'clean bill of health'.

Thank you for your condolences, and for your lovely comment. We do the best we can, for the whole family. It was a life changing experience, for all of us, when we lost Angel.

Shenay is lucky, her Mom is still with her. Very few people get to see their near and dear ones through out their life, even when the dear ones are physically gone. When ever a dear one leaves us for ever, we always want that "one more time " when we can hear their voice, see them smile, talk to them, feel them around us. But destiny never grants us that "one more time". Well, Shenay can have her mom always around her. I wish Good luck for her, God bless her.

Granny, I thought it was high time that elders at least do some sort of investigation, when children report seeing a spirit. Granted, many times it may be debunked, but that may at least allay the child's fears, if they are scared.

Shenay can at least speak openly with the family and close friends, although it is not very often. We don't 'encourage' her, but if something slips out in conversation, we take it in our stride. I think (hope) we are handling this correctly, as this is a precedent in our family.

Thanks granny for your encouragement. 😊

What an amazing story - so glad that Shenay still can see her mother after losing her so young. I am sorry for the loss of your daughter, but I am so glad that the family has been so open-minded and loving through this tragedy! A heartwarming story - thank you for sharing! ❀

Darlin', at 8 years old to her it is no big deal. She probably is either unaware or just beginning to realize not everyone does what she can. My mom was always cautioning me not to say anything to outsiders - so... I always felt something was wrong with me. I understand she thought she was protecting me. Shanay is so very lucky.

Val, thank you. Yes, Shen can be a pain in the butt at times, but we love her just the same. Lol!

She is gifted, and she takes it so casually... Like it is no big deal. So far, it seems as if she only sees her mother. I don't want to ask her if she sees anyone else, at this point in time. I want things to happen 'naturally'.

Thanks for reading Val. 😊

Fergie: Thank you for posting this! ❀ Shenay is special girl, for sure. I'm sure, with all the support she has from family and friends, she'll grow up with the strength to ignore the nay-sayers πŸ˜†. Keep up the good work.

Wel...dang Fergie! It certainly sounds to me that Shenay is gifted. And very lucky to be surrounded with people who understand.
