How carefuly have you checked this car for toxic gasses. Gasses have been found to be a common cause of perceptions of paranormal activity.

To geekonme239

I believe its possible to "smell" some form of manifestations. After all, we normally hear smells of perfume, flowers and candles all the time in ghost stories. Why not a fart? After all, if a ghost is formerly alive, then that is indeed possible, if he had been doing that always when he was still alive.

Also, there is a category under Clairvoyance called "Clairalience". As per Wikipedia, and I quote:

"Also known as Clairescence. In the field of parapsychology, clairalience [French clair (clear) & alience (smelling) ] is a form of extra-sensory perception wherein a person acquires psychic knowledge primarily by means of smelling."

So that means that if a psychic can get knowledge by just using her/his sense of smell, that means a person can really smell the paranormal somehow, right?

On another note, if this story was really copied from True Philippine Ghost Stories line of books, then that is really sad. Unless of course, it was also amakajaku who wrote that story for the book or was the source of the story.

God bless everyone! 😉

Oh, not at all, geekonme239. There are so many stories OUT THERE that we occasionally need a little assistance spotting the ones that are "borrowed". I WILL check out that series, though. Thank you. When someone finds a "neon sign" as you did, it is good form to point it out with the documentation.
Thanks!

[at] whitebuffalo---Nah... I don't have the link but I'm SURE it's the same story... My sister used to borrow TRUE PHILIPPINE GHOST STORIES books which was I think up 13 or 14 volumes now from a friend and I read them too... I think it was in the fifth book... Why SO SURE, you might ask? Because the characters are the same, the aunt, the girl waiting in the car for some shopping, the brother's name, and the model of the car... Everything:)

The True Philippine Ghost Stories stories are also featured in a Philippine horror show in the 2005 or 2006 called "Wag Kukurap"
Check the web for that...

I'm just concerned about him or her violating the copyrights law... That's all... I didn't mean to sound rude or anything... Sorry, if I somewhat did: (

That is a pretty strong accusation, there, geekonme239. Do you happen to have a computer link TO that story so that we can check it out? I went to TRUE PHILIPPINE GHOST STORIES and was shown MANY sites here on the web, as well as five books with the title. A little documentation would be appreciated, so that it can be researched.
Thank you.

I can hear ghosts. I can see ghosts. But I didn't know anyone can "smell" them. This story is from the book, THE TRUE PHILIPPINE GHOST STORIES. You shouldn't be posting stuff like this because it's under copyright.

It was funny. I think your family has gas problem and wanted to set the blame on something to cover up the embarrassment. One of you guys created this spirit thing and the rest just went along... Hehehe

Hi amakajaku. I enjoyed your story and thank you for sharing with us. At least now I know who I can blame my gas attacks on during my next road trip 😜.

i just wanted to say that sounds like an episod from the grim adventures of billy and mandy. When I firs read this one I thought it sounded familiar but I couldn't place it until a few days ago. Sorry if I'm skeptical on this. 🤔

I have heard in the past that there sometimes may be odors associatted with entitys manifesting, however, this is the first time I have heard anything like this.

God Bless!

The flatulence you mention is an interesting inclusion in the story. Usually there's knocking, shuffling, banging, screaming, sobbing, coughing, sneezing. The passing of gas is of interest because according to Islamic tradition, let me just give some background knowledge. In all Muslim countries 5 times a day, there's the call for prayer where God is praised and worshippers are informed to pray. There's a lull and then a second call is made call "iqama" meaning " standing" as now the prayer has begun. During the lull, worshippers perform ablutions, i.e., they wash, purify their bodies for prayer. When the call is made, according to Allah’s Apostle, he said, "When the call for prayer is made, Satan takes to his heels PASSING WIND so that he may not hear the Adhan (call to prayer). And when the call is finished he comes back, and when the Iqama (the 2nd call to prayer) is pronounced, Satan again takes to his heels, and when the Iqama (standing) is finished, he comes back again and tries to interfere with the person and his thoughts. If my interpretation is right, you had a jinn around your family, must've picked him up along the way. Recall God often to keep these demons away.
