What about the power of suggestion? For example when you think you are ill of something you feel pain in certain areas and if you do not stop thinking of it, it repeats itself.
Besides, other than that, you describe nothing else paranormal in your life.
That would be my two cents, but since I am a monkey what can I know. 😜

Boeing,

Why did you contemplate suicide after the first time being touched by this thing? Do you feel it was your own thoughts? Or thoughts of this thing? Have you felt this way since then?

Can you think of anything that changed in your life apart from moving to Montana and then these touches starting? Or even acquiring an item of some sort that you have taken with you since then?

When it touched your buttocks, did you feel it was in the normal way it touches you or did you feel it was sexual? Does it feel more evil when your partner is with you?

I think the fact that you believe it is a demon is what would be giving it power, you need to gain control and as others have suggested cleanse yourself and your home

Boeing's latest comment has proven that he suffers from egomania, coupled with delusions. Perhaps he is being tortured by that Demon whose name is Pride, or under a witch's spell that has turned him into a troll, and we all know not to feed trolls.
I suggest we all move on.

You really are asking this question?

"...what I don't understand is why it would happen after reading the scriptures all day for example..."

Well then take it from a High Priesthood holder...

If this is happening to you nightly, and has been for TEN YEARS (give or take) and all you have to say to anyone who tries to help you is derogatory and 'all down your nose' at us because you are so much better... You may what to check your scriptures again because I do not think they mean what you think they mean... (😉 sorry had to...)

What I am trying to say is this... Apparently YOU are NOT where you think you are Spiritually and perhaps there is a lesson you are not understanding being taught to you.

So climb down off of your Pillar of Scriptures, stop asking 'why me' and START trying to figure out why you are going through this particular trial. Me thinks it may have quite a bit to do with PRIDE.

Rook

How did you end up to determine, it is a DEMONIC spirit and not a Angel? Why can't that be your mom or someone you miss in your life. You have mentioned that you have done many prayers and used holy water and read bible. And that's more enough to shoo away any unholy spirit from nearing you. So here is my point, either it should be a holy spirit, may be an angel from heaven protecting you or someone you miss in your life. Or God believes you. He gave you this challenge to face and not to cry. Don't show your back rather make it run away. You mentioned you can fight it, so it does gets disturbed. There is a way to stop it and it is around you. Pray to God, not to stop this, but give you strength to fight it.

Ive had so many experiences with spirits, I have lost count. I can almost always sense when a spirit is nearby, well if its giving off a strong enough energy.
Ive seen spirits, I have heard their voices.
But I have never ever an experience with a demon, my parents both have, and I know that they are real.
Ive felt dark presences, but have never seen or been touched by a demon.
I would suggest that you get help. I don't know what your religion is, but maybe contact someone in your religion that may be able to help you.
This is not something that you can just brush off, because if it happened once, it could happen again

I too hope that the OP comes back to comment. I know myself from experience, that it is very difficult to get anyone to believe you've witnessed what you have, so I approach every story with an open mind, but sometimes, as with this one, the content just seems too forced and certainly the contradiction of wanting/not wanting help/opinions is a bit of a warning light in my mind.

Rook,
I would like to O/P returns and give some answers as well, but somehow, I don't see that happening.
I try to read these experiences with an open mind, and do have some theories on paranormal events, but when you see someone who refuses to open their mind to all the possibilities you have to think it's either BS or a personal problem.

earthangel,

We are a very open community and we try very hard not to 'bash' folks for their opinions. You can speak your mind here... The hard part (sometimes) is keeping things civil and not come off as attacking another individuals point of view.

Then again there are times when its very obvious that a Troll has left a comment or presented a 'story'... Then its hard to walk away without tossing the B/S Flag, Blankie or Running over it with the Miss Demeanor our beloved Troll Busting Party Bus. My fear here is that the O/P is going to 'read' answers they have either 'heard already' (because they have heard it all before) OR they will feel no one believes them because they are not reading what is being said... But what they 'want' to read 'into' the comments.

I hope the O/P returns and actually engages in the conversation, this would be a great 'experrience' for research and learning...

Respectfully,

Rook

Well, I 'know' you've heard everything (you said so) and don't want any advise, but the feeling of being 'touched', and the spasming could be a problem with your body's nervous system. If you had been honest with a doctor they may have ran an EMG (electromyogram),with a NCS (nerve conduction study) which may have helped put an end to your drama.
But, since you've lived with it for 10 years and already 'know' that any thing suggested is wrong, I'll just have to assume you must kind of enjoy it.
Hey, Puff - hold the bus!

You had no idea as to what just happened and you laid there contemplating suicide. Seriously? Far as I know, that's a big no-no in the Christian faith.

You don't seem to want any help with this so I'll just stick with Rook's story and head on over to the Bus.

I would like to add one comment myself, though I think Rook has hit the nail on the head quite hard.

Sometimes, the answer to a prayer is no. If you have prayed to God to be rid of this thing yet it still happens, there may be a reason relating to your salvation in the Christian faith.

In addition to seeking medical, psychiatric and psychological help, being completely open and honest with the practitioner you choose, also seek out a priest, minister, pastor, etc. Of your faith.

And tell them everything.

Then go to a psychiatrist and explain that after hiding your symptoms from your physician, you concluded they were parnormal in origin.

Those two bits of advice could set you along the road to health.

Dude, go to a physician and this time, TELL him/her what your actual symptoms are. That might help a little bit in getting to the bottom of it, donchathink?

Rook,
I read this account before any comments were posted and as I'm quite new to the site, I felt putting my views across may be a bit presumptuous of me. However, you have written pretty much all I questioned myself about this account. The "attitude" is very conflicting, as you state. I am also a bit suspicious about the age of the OP, listed as a young adult, but this happened about 10 years ago at ages 28 - 36. Could be a mistake, but surely the OP is an ole duffer like myself now. Wish I was still a young adult 😆. I hope the OP passes comment before the BS bus overheats!

As this is my first time commenting on your comments, just like to say I think your logical, honest and extremely frank posts are awesome. Much respect to you 😊

"I am a very very strong christian. Also, all of my prayers are answered except for this. I have yet to be delivered of it."

Pride cometh before the Fall.

Puff Bayram

P.S. The motor is warm and the Bus is well stocked. However I do hope O/P returns and provides feedback for this experience.

I have a few problems with this story,
You state you went to medical & psychological doctors but did not tell them what you where going though-How could they even attempt to find out what was wrong.
And you do not people to try and debunk it-I'm sorry but if you are not looking for a reasonable explanation, and it's obvious you're not, I really don't think anymore can help you.
Your absolute dismissal of any help only makes me urge you strongly to speak to a professional about your experiences, I think they are natural and you can be helped
Sincerely
MrMonty

I'm going to need some clarification on a couple of points...

1) You went to a doctor and a psychologist to rule out anything abnormal...however, you did not divulge to the doctor or the psychiatrist the actual REASON, or the "symptoms", that brought you there in the first place (the electrical tocuches/feelings of evil)? So, the doctors really didn't have any idea what they should be looking for beyond the standard evaluation, did they? To be honest, it doesn't sound at all like a skin condition, but more like a brain/nerve condition...

Which brings me to my second point...

2) "Whatever this is, it is extremely powerful. Nothing else happens or I would have mentioned it already"...this statement is completely contradictory to me. If literally nothing else is happening, other than the touches and feelings of good/evil, what makes you think it's powerful?
This leads me back to point #1, possible medical condition.

The fact that your prayers go unanswered also leads me to believe it's because you need to be thoroughly checked again at the doctor's office and have a professional emf evaluation of your home. Lack of sleep. Electrical "touches". Anxiety (the feelings of good/evil)...I am not trying to discredit your story, I am only trying to offer my perspective. A medical condition would be a welcomed finding, as opposed to evil entities haunting you, don't you think?

I also recommend you try a cleansing on your home/yourself. Rook's cleansing method is a good one to use (you can look him up on this site under Rookdygin and it is posted on his page for all to use).

I have a couple of 'issues' with this one and I have not read the whole thing yet...

You start with the 'dreaded'...

"This story is real as real as it gets. My name is Rick and I have been having problems with this very real experience (s) for 10 years. Now this is my story."

You might as well be swearing its 110% true... We understand you have been experiencing 'something' that makes it 'true' from your point of view. But you go and cut our legs off when it comes to 'help'...Here's what I mean...

You selected this for you expectations...

"I will participate in the discussion and I need help with what I have experienced."

But very early on you state this...

"With this, and after all that in depth explanation, I will not entertain any debunking theories as I don't have time to write a novel on why you are wrong."

Do you want suggestions or are your ears and MIND already closed?

If you truly want 'interactive' help you will have to 'put up' with members suggesting MUNDANE things as possible reasons you are experiencing anything... With that being said... ON WITH THIS EXPERIENCE:

"The first time it happened it lifted me off the bed. The touch was so powerful it would make my whole body spasm."

This MAY have been the result of a couple of things... Either a dream which seemed so real your body reacted, despite the 'anti-moving' chemicals released by the body during sleep to prevent us from 'sleep walking'.

OR

This may have been a result of an unintentional 'astral projection' and when your 'spirit' returned to your body it was 'very fast' causing your body to 'spasm' and the 'touched feeling' was the area your 'spirit' projected from.

OR

Something simply startled you awake and what you 'felt' was where a pillow or something had been touching you just before being woken up.

So just after you FIRST experience you actually thought this...

"I laid there thinking what in the world just happened and I truly contemplated suicide thinking I'm not normal anymore and something very strange just happened."

It just had to be 'paranormal'...it could not/can not have been something 'physical' and you actually thought the 'unthinkable'? A wee bit dramatic don't you think?

Here are some non-paranormal options to consider sense Prayers, Holy Water... The whole 'nine yards' have not seemed to help you...

It could be...hypnogogic/hypnopompic hallucinations. Basically, hallucinations that happen as you're waking up or as you're falling asleep.

OR

Maybe its a Charlie horse (mild to sever muscle cramps), which your sleeping brain is interpreting as a grab or poke.

Now moving on you say this...

"I'm scared I want any and all help I can get that is specific to this. Of course I know all the religious viewpoints and outlook on this and unless you actually have experience dealing with this, don't bother giving advice I have already heard it. This has been years, I've done research and I am a very very strong christian. Also, all of my prayers are answered except for this. I have yet to be delivered of it."

So if its not something physical... And this is actually something from the 'spirit realm' AND you are a devout as you say... Well let's look at this from a Christian point of view...

Prayers, Holy Water, Blessings, Cleansings ALL have not worked... So two things come to mind...

Either you are not as 'favored' as you think and your Prayers and Pleas are not being 'heard'...

OR

This is a TRIAL for you... Some sort of lesson you need to learn from it to help strengthen your Faith and help you Advance in your Beliefs.

However, being a High Priesthood holder in my Christian based Church I feel very strongly that you need to request a full sleep study... Rule out EVERYTHING natural.

It may be the way you have related this 'experience' or maybe this experience is complete 'balderdash', I'm not sure which but something just doesn't sit right...

Just because we do not understand something that is happening to us does not mean its paranormal or DEMONIC... 10 years is a LONG time for ZERO escalation of things and while the 'sensations' your are experiencing are quite annoying... I think Better Testing may just prove this to be 'natural' rather than 'supernatural.'

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😜

Respectfully,

Rook
