Tonith,

Well... I'm only 13 1/2... LOL. Also, since its my dads house, I can't do anything to it. Like put newspapers up or get something to cover the window. But I am slowly trying to talk him into getting blinds...jeez, but he keeps saying no >.< I haven't told him about my feeling. He would just think I'm some freak and to get over him. But I do bring ghosts up constantly... He says he doesn't know if he believes in them

hey Artfighter, be careful... Have you not asked the help of an Exorciser? Burn frankincense with sage... The bad entities are afraid of the scent caused by it.

hey ominousnyxx - I'm an asian too but I never heard anything about the 13Aug to 10Sept, I'm interested to know about it. What's the name of this event? I'm a catholic but my praying rituals aside from lighting candles are burning incense sticks, burning bakhoor (arab way using cubed charcoals with bakhoor or can use frankincense too and sage). We do this bakhoor thing in our country too especially if events are so bad but it's not frankincense, I forgot the name but it's some kind of Church Incense but not sticks... In my case, September is not a good month for me. I always get very sick every September. I was even bewitched in one of the September from previous years...

I do the ritual with the Joss sticks. Only to celebrate the death of a loved one.

We place a table infront of the picture. Place food and tea. We bow 3 times - Bow 3 times with joss sticks - Bow 3 times - Bow another 3 times and it's over.

Then we go a burn some sort of "money" (Hell's money) to give to the deceased to help them in their new world.;]

(our family is Catholic yet we do this Buddist Ritual Lol)

So try first, the Cross by the bed, if that doesn't work. Pray to a loved one that's pass away (do it in your room) bow 3 times with the joss stick in your hand and pray that your loved one will banish this "something"

13th of August to 10th September - We Asian fear to go outside after dark because during these days. Literally "All hell breaks loose" Spirits actually come out "hungry" that's why Asians do these offerings, to please them and return them back.

Why do you think so many deaths happened so suddenly during those months last year?

So many people have died during those months in 2007. My grandpa died right after Steve Irwin did.
Sept 1st - Steve Irwin
Sept 2nd - My grandpa (Died of stage 3 lung cancer - only smoked for 2 years during his adulthood) All of a sudden BAM! He has cancer =/ Stage 1 went straight to Stage 3.
Sept 3rd - Some race car driver I forgot his name

I forgot what month and day but a plane mysterious crashed and killed a few people and injuried ALOT!.

Freak man! Hi ghostgal! I could help u!Just burn some insence to pray to it. But if that SOMETHING is a cristian, I can't help much. Try both the way, burn some insence and pour some grains into a bowl, then stuck 3 joss stick in it. (Buddist Way). For the Cristian way, just put a cross beside your bed. Try both of this on different days.Tips:if your two dogs are CRYING, then burn 3 joss stick and pray to the SOMETHING not to disturb you.
Wish that you could get rid of the SOMETHING quickly! 😁

Don't be scared, because if someone is watching you then it is God or some angels, because your place is kind of dangerous so God is watching you. DON'T BE SCARED 😊

Tape up a newspaper to cover the window if that makes you feel more secure. I am going to assume you are a teenager. Hormones can do really strange things to the body and the psyche. Hence the reason teens do off the wall things and act crazy at times. Not saying this is your case but it very well could be. As you get older and the hormones are not raging you will get more confidence in knowing what is real and what is manufactured by these strong feelings.

I have two little girls stood in the corner of my room. They are kind of off putting sometimes. They just stand there and stare. One time they used to follow me everywhere and were crying. One time they followed me into the room and I was tired of it so I told them to go stand in a corner and wait there. They did as they were told, I need to see if I can help them cross over now, I keep forgetting...whoops. 😆 I may have to do it tonight. They are very good little girls and never do anything naughty, which I'm glad of.

I have the same problem except its worse. I feel like there is something watching me or behind me ALL the time. I feel nervous and scared all the time. I am very sensitive to the way people feel and what their intentions are. I feel like something wants to hurt me very much and I am scared! Any suggestions?

rhodes68,

Thanks! ~^-^~ I think that's going to be a big help. I really think I'm going to look for a cross and hang it up somewhere in my room. Last night I most certainly felt like I was being watched. I could hardly get to sleep... I eventually did. I memorized what the gun guy looks like. Dunno how to explain it tho... >.<" that's all for now.
(ps. I haven't actually "seen" the other things I feel are watching me, I just feel a presence)

Maybe try to install some blinds and hopefully that can help. Also try to pray you will feel better and also don't let the dark create fear. Good luck, I know how you feel I have had that happened before.

GhostGal hi and thanks for your story.

Had it been a few months ago, I would have believed that "you're just seeing things" but I'm not going to suggest such thing now. In contrast, I'd say you'd better start looking behind the history of the house as well as the land around it-I'm sure you can find some info concerning the events that have taken place before you and your family moved there.

Sometimes we tend to believe that when someone is going through a stressful period in their lives, various fears manifest into mental pictures of things that are not there. I've learnt to pay attention to these "images-pictures" and not easily suggest that they are products of your imagination. Sometimes, maybe because we become a little more sensitive, we are allowed to have a glimpse of another world, another time, of someone else's past.

Pay attention to what you see and, more importantly, what you feel and search a bit.

I'd also suggest you get some protection for your house like, use objects whether that means crosses or crystals or whatever your belief-system dictates and use them to "seal off" any bad energy and look for cleansing ceremonies on the net-they might come handy.

Good luck ❤

Tek,

No, I don't believe anything ever scared me when I was younger. Actually, when I was younger I used to watch a lot of paranormal stuff. Never scared. To this day I still watch "A haunting", but it don't scare me. A bed sheet over the window... Hm... Dunno. But ill keep bugging my dad until he gets blinds or something for it.

Also, I can barely feel that I'm being watched in the day time. But when it's time to go to bed, it's gotten worse. Now it feels like there's more then one intety. Like 3-4. And I fele like they're having a conversation of some sort. And now every night I'm tossing and turning not able to get my eye's off the door. I don't know why. But now I feel as if somethings by my door. This is how I keep thinking about it just bout every night.

ghost 1. Right by my door.
ghost 2. Upper corner of my room. 2nd farthest corner form my room.
ghost 3. About 1 foot away form my bed, starring down at me.

weird. Huh? Ill try talking stirn to it... Try...

Hello Ghostgal,

thank you for sharing your story. First, do not be afraid. I know it is hard not to feel scared of something, someone you don't know and are totally unfamiliar with. When you are alone and have the feeling of being watched speak loudly and clearly. Ask why are you watching me? Say you mean no harm and are scared and uncomfortable. Say you want to be left alone. Now what may happen next can go any which way. But it will be the only way to be certain if there is something, someone in your room or if it is just your mind playing tricks on you. Have faith in yourself. You are strong. Believe me everyone is.

Will your parents let you put up a simple bed sheet over the window? Perhaps this would help. Till this day I still see someone looking in at me through any window that is exposed and uncovered and if I am in that room. I know my reason for this, but am wondering the reason behind you seeing that. Try and think back when you were younger. Did anyone startle you, scare you? If so that may have left you susceptible to be easily scared and even attract what could be a spirit/ghost in your room.

I am awaiting for the story submission section to re-open. From reading your story I see we have some things in common. I will be sharing. Maybe they will help or make for a good read. Until then good luck.

Hi Ghostgal. I agree with itscricket. Tell this spirit you don't want it around and that it needs to leave you alone and pass on to where it should be. Tell it that it's your house and it's not welcome. Be firm. I hope you've recieved some helpful advice here. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.

Thank goodness it's not just me! Lol sorry I had to say that! I often feel as though I'm being watched in my moms bedroom so I know how it feels. And I know that it's not a good feeling and I know that it can't be your imagination or paranoia. Because it's too surreal! And flipping scary! As soon as the story thing is available I'll submit my story. Best of luck toastymarshy, toasty marshmallows 😊

I hate that feeling of being watched, it's really creepy =s

Oh and yes lavender does help a lot when it comes to sleeping better. =)

Maybe just tell the ghost it's time to move on, like what itscricket said.

even a disposable camera will work... I wish you the best of luck.

I just got an idea, maybe, just ask it to go away. I don't know if anyone has mentioned that but out loud be like "I'm no longer afraid so you can just go away" or something of the sort. Lol.

Good luck and I hope everything works out... Keep me updated.

If 'it' is real, then you will know for sure. If 'it' answers back you will be able to know if 'it' is good or bad and 'it' wants.

When I was around 12 or 13, I have had my own experience. Once the "Submit your story" thing comes back up I'll post it.

Just a few thoughts, GhostGal, which I had after reading your story and the other comments: The house in which I live (I moved here about two years ago) is over 120 years old, and reputed to be haunted. The fact that the house is haunted wasn't known to me until after I moved in. Let me explain that this house is a residence, rather than a place that is divided into small apartments. I share this house with 12 other women; there is a communal kitchen, living room, and four bathrooms. So we all know each other well. Anyway...

When I moved in I set up my room, arranging my furniture first, putting my clothes in the dresser and closet, and finally placing my "things" around the room -- books in the bookcase, pictures on the wall, etc. As I am a believing Christian (Catholic) I hung a crucifix over my bed. I also placed a St. Brigid's Cross (a particularly Irish symbol that dates back to Pagan times but has been adopted by Irish Christians) which I had blessed by a priest, on the wall near the foot of my bed. On my dresser I stood a little statue of the Blessed Mother and the Holy Child, which my uncle, a Jesuit priest, had blessed before he gave it to my mother, his sister. My Bible is in my bookcase, but a small New Testament, which was given to me when I was in the hospital after I suffered a stroke, is in the drawer of my night table. So there you have it...

Not long after I moved in I began hearing tales of our resident ghost from some of my other housemates. Some merely stated that they feel a "presence" in the house. One woman (whose room is directly under my own) claims the ghost (a woman) comes into her room and sits on her bed as she is watching TV. I only heard recently that my across the hall neighbor (whose window faces in the same direction as my own) has seen a shadow person from time to time out her window at night while she is in bed. As for myself, I have never had any of these experiences or feelings. Once in a while I hear a scratching sound in my walls late at night, but I sincerely think that is only a squirrel or something similar that has gotten into the house (there was a squirrel in our basement this past winter).

I don't doubt that this house is haunted. I've heard too many stories from otherwise rational people not to doubt it. But perhaps the religious articles I have in my room keeps this woman, whoever she is, from making herself known to me. As I said at the beginning of this comment, just a few thoughts...

Im trying so badly to talk my dad into getting blinds for the stupid thing >.< he keeps saying no. But its bugging me so badly. Also ill look into that lavender thing. Remember, I'm only 13, not evne 14 yet, so it might look weird if people see a kid buying lavender XD and I will get paranormal books cause I would like to learn more about this. Its just... I'm kind of scared to talk to 'it'. Cause what if 'it' is real. And it answeres back. Ill be freakin freaked 😨

Yeah Lavender is supposed to help you relax and sleep. Maybe if you get like lavender essential oil and put only a drop on your pillow. That'll help you sleep. And having your cousin come over might be a good idea. The sheet over the window is an excellent idea. I hope everything goes well. Keep us updated about it.

Hi GhostGal! I have 2 dogs too, and I think they are absolutely the best to have around whenever I feel scared. Usually they can sense things before you can, so it's good you keep them around. Like the other comments I think you should talk to whatever is there and see what it wants. Can you hang a sheet over the window so that you can leave your room in the night without being afraid? Thanks for the story!

itscricket,
No. I don't let people in my room. It always seems like a tornado went threw it. But actually, ill ask my cousin to come over soon and tlel me if he feels anything.

1. Rearange your bed...? Wait... How will it not know where you sleep? Plus my room is veyr small, I can't really rearange it...
2. Water under my bed...? Ill try. Sounds a little weird to me, but ill try.
3. Place a shot of ammonia... XD what's ammonia?
4. Lavender inces helps you sleep? Heck yeah ill try that! Recently I have been tossing and turning in my bed, tkaing me hours to finally get to sleep.

thanks for the ideas. Ill most certinaly try em. Lavender inces first!

also, for all of you, please excuse my spelling. I'm a fast typer, so I don't pay much attention >.<"

Hmm...it sounds like that there might be something in your room. Has anyone else gone in your room and felt it?

I just read a story that had a few tips for ghosts in your room.
"1. Rearrange your room (mostly your bed since the spirit knows where you sleep) - what this does is confuse the spirit so it can't find you.
2. Place a small glass of water under your bed (and if not, then somewhere close to your bed) don't be surprised if the water evaporates fast, if you have a spirit in your room that's exactly what is supposed to do. IF YOU SEE IT EMPTY REFILL IT...
3. Place a shot glass of ammonia under your bed (same as #2) - what this does is scares the evil spirits away (they don't like strong smells) IF YOU SEE IT EMPTY REFILL
IT...
4. Lavender incense (the real lavender) -it helps you go to sleep..."

You might want to try those.

itscricket,
yeah... It my just be my paranoid. But the feeling of someone in my room seems to be growing strong. I don't know why it happened. But this is seriously how it happened.
One day I'm playing in my room with my guitar all happy. The next I get this weird feeling somethin' is watching me in my corner (small room, so not very far away) I can't escape the feeling. I try hard to ignore it. So I eventually just get outta my room. The feeling is gone. Then like, 30 minutes later I try playing with my dogs, in like, 5 minutes he go barking like crazy. Running out the doggy door. Then I can't get to sleep that night. Cause it felt like something was watching me. Wich I tried to ignore greatly. But couldnt, so I slept in the living room. In the middle of the night my dog suddenly wakes up, again, barking like crazy. And for no reason. THAT, scares me. But I try to ignore it. I finally get through the night.
thats how it happened. First day and night.

Thank you all for the wonderful advice.
1. I don't get scared of the dark. Or scarry movies.
2. I could try asking what it wants... But I think I want to find out more about it. But good idea, thankies 😉
3. Do I dream about the shotgun guy? Well... Not really. But sometimes in the middle of the night ill hear shooting. I cna never tell if its the neighbors (since they have guns) or what. But its like, 3am. So I doubt it'd be the neighbors. And I will most certainly keep a bible near me. I don't have a corss yet. But ill buy 1 soon.
4. Is our house haunted? I don't think so. But I betcha a lot of people have died. Cause sometimes I see a lot of girls getitng beat up. And I believe I said in the story, a woman just recently died. Her sons were cruel to her. So she might be enraged and not able to pass on.

Something I forgot to mention in my story:
sometimes when I leave with my mum, ill put a piece of paper or somethin down on my drawyer, then when I get home ill ifnd it almost halfway across the room. I ask my brother if he does that to scare me, but he keeps saying "no..." so its kind of buggin me. Only happens in my room (of course!)

Well, whenever I'm home alone, I get the same feeling that someone it watching me. It only happens at night. I believe its just paranoia. The shotgun guy that stands at the window is probably just your imagination running wild because of that feeling of someone watching you. You just have to work through that and be brave. But the feeling of something being in your room is kind of creepy. I hope that you can work through that.

Regardless of what it is that is frightening you, it is time for you to take control. Your paralyzing fear is only hurting you the longer it continues.

Place a cross (at least one) in y our room. PLace a Bible near your bed. Tell what ever it is that you are taking the fear back, that you will no longer allow the fear to energize it. Tell it that in the name of the Lord it must leave ou room and your home.

The man with the shot gun, have you ever seen him? DO you dream about a man with a shot gun?

Keep us posted,

God Bless!

I can relate to you. Usually, when I'm alone in my room, with my door closed, I feel something is in there with me. I don't what, but I get kind of nervous and I either have to open the door or turn on some source of light.
What I would think, maybe you're afraid of the dark, and some stories you hear about ghosts or scary movies can get you psyched, happens to me sometimes. But since you mentioned your dog barking like crazy, there might be something there. It might not be demon (just my opinion, maybe some ghost. Do you know if your house is haunted? Did this just start happening randomly?

I was like you before I started researching about ghost/paranormal, etc. I was too scared of everything. Most of the time, your mind will scare you if you give it a chance to work on you but actually the real experience is not bad at all. Try to read some paranormal books because it won't focus just on ghosts but you'll know everything. The more you read, the more you will become brave. Probably there are ghosts around you too. Like me, I don't sleep without "tealights" (with safe holders). By the time the candle is gone, I'm gone too to the dreamland. I use tealights because it is safe. Sometimes electric bulbs may trip so it's not safe at all. Of course, prayers are very powerful instruments. I have morning and night time prayers... I discovered something and I also stated this one to one of the stories I replied earlier here: THE MORE YOU RUN AND GET SCARED, THE MORE THEY WILL COME AFTER YOU. Face your gifts, don't run away from it.
