That's so sad. 😭 Maybe the boy just wanted to catch your attention about the time. About how old was the boy? That can be another hint for your research. Also, did you feel the other childrens' presences in your room, or did you just hear them?

Wow. Maybe the property was once a school and the little boy was a student. I can also feel presences even though I can't see anything. Maybe if you have time, you could look up the propertys history. 😁

You are absolutely right, DeviousAngel, Ontario California was the site of the Costanoan Rumsen Carmel Tribe for one. Many tribes were forced off lands they owned during the 19th and 20th centuries.
In 1834, the land got to be used for private purposes. As Ontario was essentially a dry town, a lot of time and effort was put into irrigation planning, and making it a favorable place for foreigners to move to. It was actually called a Model Colony as it had offered the balance between agriculture and the urban comforts of schools, churches, and commerce.
The expansion of the Southern California defense industry attracted many settlers to the city, during and after WWII. Along with THAT, were a LOT of child labor issues.
With Daddy's going off to war, and Mama's filling in at the factories (and other places as well), and the city trying to become self sufficient by farming, industry booms and the war going on, I would think it MAY prove difficult to find out where this young man fit in.
Thank you.

What a dreadful experience! It's always so disturbing when children are subjected to that much cruelty and especially during a time when they provided 'cheap labor' to an indifferent world. How heart-breaking! Salt reminds me of sweat, the sweat of a young boy who worked until he bled to death. If I were you I'd say a prayer for him as well as for all the other children to lost their lives for 'a greater cause'! I'd also give an 'offering' to appease their souls.

angelfeathers - That's a very interesting take on it... And thank you for the information you found. I do feel rather sorry for him now... Wherever he is now, I hope that he finds his rest peacefully. What a terrible thing to go through.

Hi. Your story intrigued -- and saddened --me greatly, so I did a little research, too. Apparently, Southern California has a growing Mennonite (generally Swiss-GERMAN ancestry) population. Some of the churches encourage clothing restrictions, which could account for the "German school uniform." So this poor little boy may have belonged to a Mennonite/Hutterite community in your area some time ago.

Your idea about child labor may not be far off. Many Mennonites are/were involved in farming-type occupations, which are notoriously dangerous and claim a lot of lives. And "farm kids" are often required to help with the chores. Could this little boy have died in a farming accident? A wagon overturning? Who knows?

I'm just throwing out ideas, I know; but it breaks my heart to think of this sad, injured, little boy reaching out to you with bloody hands and tears. What a horrible, tragic thing.

A.

Hello everyone!

Interestingly enough, I dug up a bit of information about the city in which the house was built. I used to live in the city of Ontario, which is in Southern California. It seems that it was built over some old Native American Indian tribe villages, and after that, a majority of the settlers of what was then known as the "Model Colony" were--you guessed it--German! During and after WWII, there was a huge housing boom in the area. I wonder if some of that may have included underground child labor or something... The message that little boy was trying to tell me wasn't something good! One thing I thought about was sweat=salt, and blood... The boy was crying blood...blood, sweat and tears? That seems to point to child labor, considering WWII took a lot of the males in the families...

Hello DeviousAngel. I think you were dreaming and when you got the jolt of light, it just manifested to be real. He was trying to show you something and he does sound like he was from a war era. I don't feel that he wants to harm you in any way. I have had experiences with dreams with my younger brother who passed. I did have a jolt like you described and knew that my brother was telling me something with it. The next day I found out what it was and it definitely was a good surprise. Thanks for sharing your story with us here, it was very interesting to read. 😊

Hi DeviousAngel,
That was some experience you had. Did this occure in California? What used to be on the land where your house was? Search for anything to do with the internment camps were the government kept people of German decent in that area during WWII. It sounds very disturbing, I hope everythings ok now. God bless.

EVPResearcher - the uniform looked to be about WW2-era. He had a sort of glossy slicked-to-the-side haircut, too. I can't be absolutely certain it was German, but I kind of got that feeling from the boy for whatever reason. He was very light skinned, but he seemed very solid, not intangible like some apparitions. All I can describe of the uniform now is that he was wearing knee-length socks, loafers, and some sort of uniform top that I don't remember very well but it reminded me a bit of a suit coat.

I hope this helps!

Wow. I have never heard of anything like that. How old was the uniform? Anything since then?
