In Trinidad we call witch doctors obeah men and women. They can be evil and they can be good.

Some of my friends go to them for baths, charms, amulets, talismans. Some of them even bring along rosaries for the obeah men to bless for protection.

Most of the obeah men use psalms and The Sixth and Seventh books of Moses to summon spirits for protection. They also collect graveyard dirt for summoning spirits to do their bidding. That is why in Trinidad there is a lot of superstition concerning cemeteries.

Rashidah,

There is no way for us to preotect ourselves unless we have a witch doctor in the family. But even so, we just have to be careful with others because there are some people here in our country that could cast a spell on you even by a simple glance.

Summit,

That is true. My grandfather almost died. Good thing my mom met a good witch doctor and the spell was countered. I was really young that time but my mom and my grandmother relayed it to me.

Well some of them use their skills for good and they will provide the countermeasures. So it doesn't matter who ever he was if someone knows it, he can choose to use it for good or for evil.

Summit dear how did you protect yourself from that evil?

If that is a personal question for you I will understand if you do not answer.

I was just wondering about how Philippines protect themselves.

Thanks for the your post. ❤

I'm from the philippines too. Sad to say yes a lot of people still use that "kulam" for revenge or anything evil. It can even kill you if you ignore it.

jerryhend1 I really do not know why there are people that evil will go after kids. Evil is evil. It does not matter who they hurt. It can be adults, kids, animals and so on. Evil does not reason with who they decide to hurt and destroy

I read an article on Aleister Crowley who they deemed the wickedest man who ever lived. It was reported that he did child sacrifices. In hi book Kabala 777, he stated that if a magician wants to gain real power he must rape an innocent young boy.

Midnight_Angel I want to hear more of your story. It is unfortunate that they do not want to post it. This is actually peeking my curiosity more.

I can not say yes or no, and what is right or worng, but why would anyone go after a small child? This I do not understand, unless they themselfs were just evil...

I am very sorry to hear that happened to your grandfather my love.
I read the site. I did not know about that type of witchcraft called kulam. But I guess different regions have different names for it.
I can never understand how people could be so evil.

I do believe in witch craft. It is very much used here in the philippine especially in the province and you did something bad to someone. My grandfather was actually a victim of one. You could read more about it <http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-kulam.htm>;

All of the kids in the neighborhood attended the party.

My sister did not experienced any of the attacks. I think I experienced it because I was the only one who decided to fight with her while the others watched.

The boy who held the party also did not experienced anything. But most of the kids and some of the adults who were up reported seeing the Moko Jumbie moving around the neighborhood. But its intention was to scare me alone.

Feel free to ask more questions. 😊

Were the other kids in your neighborhood also the same ones who attended the party? And did your sister experience the same things you did, being that she was the one who initially got into a fight with the other girl? How about the girl who held the party, did she experience anything as well? Sorry for all the questions, I think your story is very well written and I do believe you. I'm just interested to know what the other girls who attended the party also experienced.

I did not say that you tried to trash my other story. I was just saying that I expected it to be trashed because The Spirit name is Lucifer.
You have an interesting story. Post some more so I can read it. Did this ghost try to hurt you or your kids?

i like this story as well. I believe you as I believe in chocolate. ❤ so do not think that I was trying to trash you on the other story. I enjoy your stories and I had an encounter where I felt little hands on my back. Almost as if they were trying to nudge my back so that I would wake up. I immediatly thought something had happened to my dad because he left for work at that exact moment. I went through the whole school day feeling bad. I think it was this ghost that follows me and two children. I don't know though. 😕

I do not mind. Just be respectful. That is all I ask because it took a lot out of me to share this awful experience which I wished I forgot.
