allison, hi. I guess the only thing I can add to all of the good advice (and reprimands) is to let you know that I wish you the best of luck in dealing with this. I sincerely hope you get things straightened out quickly. Please let us know how things go so we'll know you're all right.

I have warned many people about Ouija boards before: they are NOT toys. Nothing good comes through them. Only demonic or evil spirits can be contacted through them, and that is why they are so dangerous.

Alison my dear! You have made a big mistake, I am going to be praying for you. Curiosity unfirtunately gets the best of us at times. Although this is something we need to think twice of before doing what you did. Well, enough of the I told you so or you should know better. What you need to do at this point is bury the darn thing back where it was if you can, second burn sage around your room and house if possible, since your Dad does not see eye to eye on these things do it on a day he is not in the house. Then place a cross in your room if you can and when you go to bed pray at night and out loud if you can, read the bible outloud Salms 23 and say it like you mean it! Pray from the bottom of your heart and ask the Lord first of all to forgive you for what you have done and then ask him to help you to undo what you have done and if you trully believe in this then HE WILL make it go away. The Lord is wonderfull and is always there no matter what. Believe in him and you will have nothing to worry about.
Good Luck and keep us posted if you can.
BTW did you see that the email you gave is not a valid email and the web master needs to comunicate with you?

LUV ❤

Excuse me once again allison.
Hello Ohiowatha. I stand corrected, about burning the Ouija board that is. What was I thinking?! I guess I wasn't! Thanks for informing me as well as everyone else! You sure got very knowledgeable with this stuff, seeing as how you WERE a non-believer. 😊 ~Shelby ❤ 😊

Excuse me too, Allison.
I believe that also, Mustang. Goodness knows I fell into the same trap that I described in the first section of my comment. In fact, I was thinking of myself when I wrote it. The board that was used in MY "experiment" was not buried, however, it was mailed from a family to a fellow "rookie" on our base. We were invincible, though, the thrill of flying by the seat of our pants had gone to our heads and tainted our common sense. The only thing we were lacking was the red, white, and blue magical cape!

I do not like Ouija boards because on the market they are geared towards our children. Not in all areas, but their are commercials (or rather WERE) on the air during morning cartoons showing children sitting around a table playing with the board. They are not toys. I can honestly not imagine anyone thinking that it is a "game". It is like Ohio said down there. If we are going to market these as games, why do we not market pipe bomb kits for a fair price? (Ok, that is not quite what Ohio said, but a poison is a poison, no matter what box it comes in)

I DO, however, believe that there are some people who can effectively and properly use the Ouija board as a good source. Or any number of other types of communication board. I just happen to think we need to take the temptation away from our children and off the toy shelves.

...[sigh] it's not really your fault. They market these things for kids and I cannot fathom why. Might as well make a board game involving poison. These things are not toys. Using a board in hopes of communicating with a deceased loved one is like dialing a random number into a phone and hoping your best friend down the block picks-up. Chances are, someone will answer the phone, but it won't be your friend.

I don't know how many times these games have conjured demons, but it seems almost like you get them more than just deceased human spirits.

ALERT: DO NOT BURN THE BOARD TO GET RID OF IT! That is like leaving a door open that can then NEVER be shut.

Note: Parker Brothers, Inc., please quit making these things. They ain't toys.

Hello allison corwin. I guess your first clue not to mess with a Ouija board is that it was buried 4 feet under your home!
Anyway, I hope you learned your lesson as it may be too late. I'm sure you have, after this incident.
I must agree with most of the other members on this subject. You have either opened up a three dimensional doorway or your mind is getting the best of you. If you have opened up that three dimensional door to the otherside, than you have a problem and need to close it. When you mess with a Ouija board, the beings you speak with can have foul language as well as trick you into thinking they are some other spirit or ghost.

Excuse me allison corwin.
Hi Buffy(whitebuffalo for those who do not know that I call her that).
I think that kids get bored and they do not know the consiquences of their actions, there for they use the Ouija board. Kind of like me when I was a pre-teen and teen. BAD MOVE! 😭 I have DEFINITELY learned my lesson!
If you still have the Ouija, then I would pour Holy water all over it, burn it and then bury the ashes! If you are not religious, then atleast burn it and bury the ashes FAR away from your house and, of course, never touch a Ouija board EVER again!
Thanks for sharing your experience. ~Shelby ❤

Oh goodness, I hate this has happened. Please get rid of that board, might as well bury again, speak out to the presence that is bothering you to leave in the name of the Lord ~ Have Faith and it will leave. Please keep us posted.

I would agree with chuzwuzum, not only should you not mess with an Ouija but the paranormal in general unless you know exactly what you`re doing. As I`m so fond of saying, you might get something on you that Ajax won`t take off. Since you father is a nonbeliever he probably wouldn`t consent to a house cleansing, so put your faith and trust in your Higher Power.

I don't know what to make of ouija boards. Don't know how much is hype and imagination and how much may not be. Usually the spirits contacted don't get information right are bad spellers and have a mean streak and foul mouth. Hard to tell if this is a spirit communicating or just a teen with an attitude problem subconciously moving the pointer. This is just my opinion in general and I'm not saying this is the case in this story.

This is a perfect example of why you should not mess with the paranormal especially when you have no clue about what you are doing. Ouija boards have messed up peoples lives. My friend once messed around with one, after I warned him not to, and now he is in a psychiatric ward. It messed up his mind because he thought the spirits that he had called were trying to kill him.

I pray for you that you stay safe and I hope you have learnt your lesson.

OMG, another Ouija board rookie who got pulled into the thrill of the unknown by the temptation of the "game". Why, why, why, would you use a board that was BURIED? Obviously there was a reason for it. I do not know, someone tried to release it's power and destroy the board?!
You know, as a mother and a consumer, I wish there were a way to take those boards off the shelves of the toy aisles in stores. They are not toys. I see parents occasionally in stores with one of the boards in their cart, and three or four kids running around them, and I have often wanted to say something, but never have. I have boycotted stores that carry them in the toy aisle, but not enough people care enough about that to cause any difference.
I think there are a select few who can and do properly use the board, but the majority of people out there do not know how. As Kim said, there is a proper way to open a session and a proper way to end the session, any deviation in that may cause problems as it looks like you found out. I pray the Great Spirit will provide you with safety and peace of mind and rid your home of all that should not remain there.
Thank you.

I am sorry that you and your friends had to find out the hard way, you mentioned you first started 'playing' with the ouijia board because of the thrill. Not thrilling any more though, I am sure.

This story is another prime exdample of why to stay completely away from those tools. They are not toys, they are tools, tools that can and open doors to a world of issues and problems that can hardly be imagined.

When disposing of and ouijia board, a proper way to do so is to bury it. Apparently when your friends family found this board burried, it had been out there because another was trying to rid themselves of it. There is also an appropriatte way to close out a session with a ouijia board, many people are not aware of that and it is very seldom done properly. When I was first involved with one of these things, I did not know either.

There are instructions on disposing of this board on the net and I believe on this site, appropriately.

NEVER an ouijia board. No matter what the draw is, as you found out you can be lied to and maipulated. Pray, Pray, Pray. Also, place at least one cross in your bedroom. Tell 'it' to leave in the name of the Lord.

God Bless!
