Erin Townsend = One should asked, why doll possession? Why Ouija boards, why the Cabbage Patch, the Smurfs and other doll figures? Can it be it an easier item to possess? Does it have to do with some origin of ideas . The gothic, the symbols, the legends of imagination and behind symbols which the occults use and refers. Also, the irony of selling Ouija board at toys stores. Especially used by innocent children thinking it as a monopoly game. . There are other factors, children do not know much of spirits as adults. The inspiration of doll creation is what make dolls alive. Doll possession can also occur by something that already exists in the home. Children are very easy target. Demons or what ever you want to call it. Does not stay, they move around. They do remember where they ploy their victim and continue to do so. Until, the victim makes a stop to it. Either throwing the toy away. Many people just give them away. Is like passing the problem to someone else, without knowing it. Demons or ghost just leave. But it’s scent is there and know when someone picks it up. It is like when a cat mark its spot. It knows where to pick up. Understanding these theories can help you decide, either throw the doll away. It’s you choice. Also, doll’s have history. Who did it belonged to, who gave it to you. I know of people having the most famous porcelain Victorian dolls. Many scare people. Well, they are interesting, some are very cute. I like them. But, others are gothic looking scary. Anyway, it all the depends what possess it. Do more research on this. Make wise choices.
Take Care

Dear Erin,

A nice story told, and I do believe it.

As for it being a wiring malfunction, Emma... The doll could not possibly work without batteries, as it was battery operated.

When I was young, living in a small town, there was a rumor circulating that an evil cabbage patch doll had murdered its family. I seriously doubt that was true, but at the time you believe anything. I never wanted a cabbage patch doll after that, I thought they were evil. HAHAHA! Anyway, I think there was just a malfunction in the wiring that set off the doll. I wonder why your friend wasn't scared of it? Anyway, take care. - Emma

Wow, scary. I'm always freaked out my dolls too. Read my story called 'A real Nightmare' and tell me what you think of it.
