I'm glad your dog is doing a-ok, when you move tho wouldn't he just follow you and he does seem like a little brother to you, with that last said, I'm going to go haunt some other stories while I'm on my phone. It gets really addicting after periods of time.

Perhaps he'll find a way to attach himself to you and go for the ride hehe.

If you're the only one he's showing himself to though it should be ok for them when you move out. You never know maybe you'll attach to one of your siblings.

Eventually, yes. But I fear the day that I move out - He may go on a rampage or something.

And yes, I'm so excited. Her feaver was almost gone yesterday, considering that it wouldn't go down in the slightest before. It's a huge relief. πŸ˜†

MCP - Haha, oh, I know. And that's fine - I've been making that same joke for weeks. And what you're saying could very well be true. Like I keep saying over and over, I could do without the creepy sounds in my house, but I'll just have to cope. Fred will be fine tonight - I"m going back home! My puppy will be out of the Emerg. Vet tonight. Happy, happy days.

Emerald - Oh, it's quite alright. I've enjoyed our chats about my Fred.

Lolz, Sounds like Fred just wants to be noticed and heard. I'm sure he must know he is dead. If he's an intelligent haunt, whihc he seems to be. Sounds like it's innocent enough, so long as he stays that way it's up to you to keep him as you seem to want to:) Your adopted little brother, the other ghost child lol.

I know I made a wise crack about it ealier when I e-mailed you back but maybe he really does accept you as a older sister figure and is afraid when you're gone for long periods of time? If he doesn't want to cross yet and you're the only one he's showing himself to, that would make you the only 'family' he knows.

Haha, perhaps I will. I do use a digital camera, and Fred was turning my TV off on my skeptic of a boyfriend today. It was pretty funny, and I laughed at him for it, and he turns around and goes, "IT'S JUST A COINCIDENCE!"... Even though he yelled out, "HI FRED!" When we got in the house. Ahh such is the life I lead. I'll let you know how dinner goes tomorrow night;)

That is pretty cool you say that about your camera, because my parents house is very haunted and it is darn near impossible to take pictures in it; to the point that my mother gave me her camera, that has auto focus.
For him to be attatched to you, one reason very likely being, you can sense him. Another being, maybe you remind him of someone he was once close to in life, or most likely, he just likes who you are. 😊
One thing that might clear up the focusing issues of your camera, one check the lighting to be sure it isn't that, another, maybe you should invite Fred to a roll of film... Or if you use digital, just ask to take some pictures of him from time to time. Maybe he won't bug you so much, and you will get some cool stuff to put here to boot! πŸ˜‰
However it turns out, I hope you are able to not be so scared of him and find out what he needs to move on, or cohabitate.
Good luck! 😁

I just found some stuff out about the land near my house. It used to be a combination of farmer's field and train station, owned and run by CP Rail. I can't find any information about whether or not there were any accidents or deaths in the town of Shepard, as it was called, And would appreciate any help I can get in looking into the matter.

GO ME!

Haha, oh very nice. Yeah, I think Jamie's more of an annoyed spirit than anything else, where as Fred is just... Fred. The silly little thing. DOn't worry so much about Jamie, maybe get some protective crystals or something, and go from there. 😊

Ahahahaha silly Fred, And ohhhh Kyoto 😲 hehe afraid of your boyfriend hehe I think Jamie is kind of like the kid with the temper he's never hurt me scared me to death but never hurt me. What worries me is that he might not be good good cause my room has two fans and its hot in there. Maybe cause I have a heavy comforter and a couple of blankets piled on me. I sleep with a nightlight and hate being in there. I leave my door open to let air ventilate and so my Kisa can come in when I call her for bedtime. Yes, I sleep with a gangster chihuahua who is also my Jamie alerter. Hehe my other dog Petey used to sleep with me but he began ditching me.

On training ghosts? Haha, I wouldn't say he's trained. I just think it's a matter of whether the entity likes you or not. Like I said, I think Fred is attached to me, and doesn't want to leave. My boyfriend and I are going there for a bit tonight, so that we can start preping our dinner for TOMORROW night (gotta marinate some beef for some kabobs... Nomnomnom πŸ˜†) He'll be happy that we'll be there for a little bit, this I know. Not that he'll pull anything with my boyfriend around, but oh well. Silly Fred, being scared of a guy. Pfffft.

And when you're old enough to go on the youth trip, email me. I can give you a LONG list of places to go in Kyoto, as that was where I stayed for 5 weeks.;) Chances are I'll still be creeping this site, reporting on Fred.

I know I do. He's fantastic. I told him to sit tight, and enjoy the day, and for him not to wreck my stuff. I think I'll keep him around as long as he wants to stay, as he doesn't seem to want to cross over quite yet. Like I said, he has quite the personality.

And yes I did go to Japan, two summers ago. It was fantastic. I did it with a LIONS club youth exchange. I think the ages are 15-22. YOu may want to look into it, if you want to go to Japan. 5 weeks, living with a family from there. It was wonderful, warm, and beautiful. Would not exchange that experiance for anything in the world!

Lol, thanks Katherine. Yeah, I didn't have any kind of issues with the very same camera when I went to Japan, and yet it won't work in my house. Silly Fred, messing with my camera.

UPDATE! I ran to that house on my lunch break today to grab a jacket, and Fred scared me again. And damn well killed my cell phone that had full battery when I went INTO the house. I think he's mad that I haven't been home lately (one of my dogs is in the emergency vet clinic, and I've been staying with my mom, rather than be totally alone at my dad's house with Fred... Haha). I heard him either humming or crying, just a low kind of melodical tone. I also heard him knocking my dog's food dishes around (though that could be the spirit of my last beagle, who we had to put down at age 15... She was old, and muchly loved), and I also heard Fred running up and down the stairs from my main floor to the upper floor (I was in the Basement).

Just so that you guys knew - He is indeed back, and I think sad that no one's there. The poor dear. I apologized to him, and assured him that I would be home tomorrow night, and then as soon as I told him that, all the noises stopped. Needless to say, I laughed a bit. πŸ˜†

hahaha I laughed at the thought of you fighting with the camera. I don't see him as a threat, have you ever really saw his features or what not? Its really up to you if you want him around or not. So... All I can say is good luck, Katherine.

Cosmogal96 - I've asked him to leave me alone on some of his more anxious days, and even asked him to go towards the light, to pass on, and to rejoin the others, his family, his friends, and what-not. I don't know. I'm not at that house at the moment, but I will be going back there on Friday, so I'll post an update as to whether or not he's back from his vacation from last weekend. πŸ˜‰

Thank you for your imput,

It seems that Fred has attached himself to you because he feels that you can help him. I'm sure he can sense that you can't be bothered helping him out and I believe that is why he sometimes becomes obnoxious. You have to decide what you want to do about him. In reading your story I can tell that you are confused and not sure if you want him to stay or go. I agree with you and believe that Fred is not there to hurt you. It doesn't seem that he's just going to leave on his own either. In the end it's ulitmately your decision to make. πŸ˜‰ Thanks, and I hope everything works out for you and Fred 😊 ❀

Infinity - Hah, Thank you for the quick resonse. "Helthy relationship" seems to be the way to put it, and that term makes me smile. I have tried to have conversations, but part of me is scared to do EVP work, though I may try in the future - who knows. The land before my house was there was a farmer's field (Welcome to the outskirts of Calgary, Alberta - that's about all we have down here!)

And yes, I've tried to tell him that he needs to pass on, and he does go away for a day or two, and then he comes back. I dunno. I think he's attached to me for some reason, and doesn't want to move on. I think he likes it on this plane of existance, which is fine. I just don't like him creeping up behind me and opening my garbage can! πŸ˜†

Needless to say, I have come to sort of love Fred, in a way, like an annoying sibling (I have three younger sisters - what could be the harm of having a ghostly brother, to boot?)

Thanks so much for your imput!

Hi Jordan, that was fun reading! You have already answered your own question really, you know this spirit is not evil and you're not scared. It actually seems to me that you have quite a healthy relationship with Fred as he does with you. You are living quite comfortably in the same house and you instinctively know when he's around to the point of saying good morning! Absolutely nothing wrong with that at all and he certainly doesn't mean you any harm. Have you ever tried to hold a conversation with him? What was on that land before? He appears to have attached himself to you because you can handle it. My only concern is that he might be stuck on this earth plane especially if he's a child which I suspect he is and might need a bit of help crossing over, he may not even know he's dead and is still living in his own reality or he may well just be a spirit who likes your company and pops in now and again. It's answers to those questions you need, try talking to him and see what you get. πŸ˜‰
