May I ask you a few questions, have you ever been tested for sleep apnoea? It's obvious to me, your broken sleep behaviour is causing most of your problems relating to sleep paralysis. How is your diet? Are you overweight and do you exercise? Do you work? Do you drink coffee at night? Do you drink a lot of fizzy drinks? What time do you get out of bed in the morning and do you watch a lot of scary movies? If your nature is such, that you scare easy then don't watch them. Try going to be an hour later and try waking up an hour earlier or setting a time in the morning and sticking with it. You can overcome this condition, the starting point is understanding the contributing factors.

And I would like to mention that both my younger sisters and dad used to have these attacks too... But I am not too sure if their experience is the same as mine...
Because... To be very honest, this is really hard to explain in words...
